I felt same way, I cried when I had to say goodbye to my crew mates. The Ashley and Garrus goodbyes moved me the most. Although I loved saying goodbye to everyone, that part was extremely well written and executed.

When you promise Miri that you will find her, WHICH Ending works better with that? Even the "Destroy" Ending has a let down.

If you have enough assets, you live through the "destroy" ending. Which I believe is the only viable one in terms of keeping your promise (through headcannon).

Yeah but what if Miri isn't on Earth? Why would she be? Wouldn't she stay out of the war and be with Oriana while we fight?

The last vidcomm convo will explain it all. She's there. Don't you worry. The question is whether she lived or died in the final battle... hahaha and I think we can all agree that she obviously did.
In order to protect Oriana, she needs to join the fight. And she knows that. On top of helping the love of her life complete his mission of course. haha

The relays are gone in all endings, except possibly Control. Individuality is not lost in Synthesis. Joker and EDI are still Joker and EDI. So Miranda would remain herself, capable of love. The glowing eye effect is very subtle. Control dominates the Reapers but Synthesis presents the opportunity for true peace and integration, as well real physical improvement. And it doesn't involve killing the geth. So I pretend Matt is rewarded for his sacrifice by getting to return to Miranda.
Yeah but Imgaine if you wer in Miri's position. You see yourself transformed into something you are not.

Watch after the credits, then you will know why they say he survives.
You mean the bit with the Stargazer and the kid? All that means is that someone survives to tell the tale of Shepard, it doesn't mean Shepard survives the end.

I honestly don't get how people are saying Shepard survives the "destroy" ending. In the "control" & "synthesis" endings, you obviously lose your body (and thus life), but with the "destroy" ending all you see is Shepard shooting it, it blowing up with Shepard being on the fringe of that explosion but still obscured by flames, followed by the Mass Relays & the Citadel blowing up. All with Shepard right at the epicentre.

So...uh...what company does he own again?jtav wrote...
Does anyone else think what they did with Henry was interesting? He's Miranda's dark mirror. The intellectual brilliance, desire/ability to do the impossible, and to help humanity are traits Henry and Miranda share. In Miranda, they're checked by a basic decency and are good things. Henry perverts them, but they're still there. If Miranda were to go bad, Henry is what would happen. I imagine turning into Henry is something Miranda is terrified of and may be part of the reason she stayed away from Ori. What if she abused her sister like she was abused?
