Can we please no mention that theory here? It makes my blood boil.

Hmm. Any interest in Matt/Miranda screens?

Yes please!

So how's the Mass Effect 3 coming along then? ;)

I am sure she'd appreciate feedback from those with Twitter account. I thought she improved from the last game.

Already sent her a tweet about how well she did this time around with VO work

Poor Miranda just died in my second play through. I warned her about Kai Leng, gave her the information and chose the renegade option. The only thing is my Shepard broke up with her. I don't know why "breaking up" would kill her in the end....

Has anyone taken it upon themselves to reedit the final flashback movie, and insert in a shot of Miranda in place of Liara? I am still blown away that Bioware didn't do this originally, it really bugs me.

That would be smart of someone, maybe the scene from Mass Effect during their romance scene when Shepard has his hands wrapped around her with him behind her? That would be the best I think, or the scene on the Citadel with their hands clasped. AKA the screen shot someone posted on here awhile back.

Nice choice, I agree.

Totally agree. That would of been a perfect flashback shot. Bioware should take notes.

Wouldn't that scene conflict with custom Sheps?

Following the tradition of the very basic head raise, eye contact of the other three, the scene following her loyalty mission when you convince her to speak with Oriana. She looks at Shep then looks down. So in reverse? Or the part where she smirks about speaking to Oriana....OR the winking before her love scene....

I am so upset right now. I cannot believe, after how ME-2 was structured, that Miranda was THAT much of a non-factor. Why didn't we anticipate this? We should have known that by not telling us anything about her early on (like they did with Tali, Garrus and Liara) that basically meant there was nothing to tell us. And this whole "non-perfect" ending business? I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye or see her again. She just walks off with her sister and that's it. He doesn't even say something to the sky like "I'm sorry" or "I'll see you one day" or anything!

And the "romance"? Was the response to the engine room scene THAT bad that they just have them fall out of the camera shot like that? And her complaining about the microchip? What is that about? We talked about that in ME-2! I'm over it! It's done! I love you Miranda....give it up. Smh....I'm so bogged down on this ending...I just.....

I need some help guys. I've never romanced Miranda, but I do enjoy her character. Since you guys kinda got screwed too (Thane person here) and Jacob really got it really bad, what are your complaints about ME3?

I am REALLY not happy with how the game shook out. Miranda wasn't even a temp squadmate....not for one mission....fan-pandering at its best, to all the ME-1 complainers....she was on the COVER of ME-2 and all we got was her whining about the brain chip.....smh.....

Yeah, Thane was cover Drell material too. Funny (not really) how we all either conformed to the preset special characters or got shafted.

Can I quote you on this facebook page that I'm working on?

Have at it.

Statistics showed that she was the 2nd most used squaddie next to Garrus. Her combination of Warp, Overload and Slam was invaluable. Actually, she probably unbalanced the game, that's why she wasn't a permanent squadmate. But for that character to be so prominent in the ME-2 (especially for us PS-3 users who have no connection to ME-1), it was disappointing for her appearance to be so scarce. Now if the devs/writers come out and say "Yvonne couldn't commit to so much voice work" or "heck, we didn't wanna pay her more than last time", then fine, I get it. But if she was free enough to do even 55% of what she did in ME-2, then Miranda should have had a bigger role.

At the very least, Shep should have had a chance to say goodbye.....

Consider me a recent Miranda convert, enjoyed her in ME2, but it seems like her character really grew in ME3. It is a shame that she wasn't featured more prominently...I would have liked her to have been there at least for the raid on the Illusive Man's base, especially so she could flesh out what exactly she did to bring Shepard back from being brain dead. Oh well, maybe Bioware wanted to be vague on that point....

Still hoping for her to be involved in future DLC!

I think the quality Miranda's role in ME3 is ambiguous enough so as to generate much more disparate opinions amongst her fans when compared to Thane's or Jacob's fanbase.
From what I've seen, opinions range from "acceptable" to "slap in the face to Miranda fans".

Of course, being divided into different factions is not uncommon for us.

Her role was okay. I didn't really see much character or romance growth that others do. It could of been worse (sorry Jacob fans). At least with her role being ambiguous there is plenty of room for headcanon.
