Control is probably the best from a galactic standpoint if the relays really are intact. It just kills Shep as a character and I really like the imagery of Synthesis.

Can I make a horrible confession that will ruin my reputation? I wanted a marriage proposal. They pass it off as a practical matter, but nobody's fooled.

In my headcanon, Thomas will make a semi-proposal just prior to turning himself in to the Alliance (just ask her to think about it). Then when they reunite on the Citadel and have their romance scene, he'll ask her for real off-camera.

Gutted that Miranda's role in ME3 is A- so short and B- that she was not a perm squad member.

I felt like pretty much all the new ME2 characters were forgotten about to move back to the original cast. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of ME1 & ME2. But for me the story picked up in ME2. After I've completed ME3 it's unlikely I'll complete it again. But I will be going back to ME2 to spend some more time with Miri.

Unless Dev's - some dedicated DLC with Miri? Hint, hint. (Or just ME4/next ME game with a full inclusion of Miranda.)

Thank God Miranda wasn't a squaddie. I have enough trouble fixing the end without touching the crash. At least Miranda is somewhere civilized.

Yeah, Miranda not being a squaddie is one thing I'm glad Bioware didn't listen to us about.

I would, however, have stuck her in the Normandy medbay until the Cerberus base mission is complete and confront Leng by hologram.

It would of been cool to have Miranda on the Normandy at some point during the game. Having the reaction of the crew with her presence onboard would of been neat.

 Too late. No sex in the engine room this time. Not with Miranda, not with anyone.

They missed an opportunity for comedy gold by not referencing that.

That will be great. Having her and Shepard talking by radio when he investigates the logs about Lazarus.

My concern is where is Oriana in this scenario, on the Normandy too?

Never thought I would say such a thing but you're absolutely right. Also the team members, while they have a strong presence, don't really have all that interesting story arcs, if any at all. For instance, Garrus is just there as usual. Miranda may be offscreen most of the time, but she provides critical information and has her own story, even if it's mostly offscreen.

BTW, did anyone notice that if you play femShep, you can't go into the men's bathroom and vice versa?

Am currently slowly edging through my first (and possibly last) run of ME3, with a Mirandamancing Renegade soldier. Already know how it will all end, but I have to admit the few scenes they've had together have been more emotional than anything in ME2 imo. Too bad she wasn't a squaddie... Would have gladly exchanged Tali or Garrus for her. Its a bit of a bummer how they overplayed Oriana's role for her character tho... Miranda herself used to be the one thinking of the big picture, willing to sacrifice the crew of Normandy to prepare for the Omega relay run etc. There's good dramatic potential wasted, not having her as a Renegade influence on the refurbished SR2.

Well, I think it would only have made sense for part of the game anyway. By the time you get to TIM's base, Miranda should be signing off to do her own thing.

As to the team members, well, I don't think characterisation is a particular strongpoint of ME3, due partly, no doubt, to it being very plot-heavy. Leaving aside my particular affinity for Miranda, I don't think anyone who is introduced for this game can really compare to characters like Mordin, Legion or Thane.

So, the heavy focus on character in ME2 had its upside.

As for the returning characters, there is some development, certainly, but often not a whole heck of a lot.

I was too busy either standing in the engine room alone remembering her, or wondering what hilarious and awkward conversation would occur should Javik walk in there and touch his hand to the floor. Matter fact, I was actually waiting for him to do that.

OT: BioWare can't just Leave us with Endings like these. That keep saying "Thanks for the Feedback." What if they only use the Feedback for another Game and not ME3?:(

So.....my first Miranda screenshot from ME3. Took a while - during my first playthrough, I played with subtitles, which isn't good for screenshots.

Imported a Shepard who destroyed the CB. Miranda still referred to herself as Cerberus' former second in command.

I believe that she did in my default playthrough as well (in which the CB is destroyed), so not too surprised to hear that.

She died. I reckon I should have given her the support to find her sister but I wasn't big on trust at this point in the story.
