Or other Henry Lawson... "projects," I guess.

I don't want to see Miri transformed into something. Why are you all talking about something so damn traumatizing?

That sounds sinister. It would of been pretty neat to see though. Like you guys have said Sanctuary was pretty tame for the level of atrocities committed there. I really wish there was more stuff there to show how bad the place was.

Because, unlike Thane fans (sorry girlsImage IPB), we already have the option of Miranda surviving.
As such, we have no problem discussing unpleasantness.
Miranda, along with Oriana, becoming the Pariah that Shepard has destroy, thus putting the sisters out of their misery, is leagues aboves being hit by a stray bullet from her father and dying in seconds.

As I recall, in the early story drafts, Shep was supposed to feel some sort of indoctrination effect during Miranda's mission that he would feel again at the very end of the game, I guess related to Henry's work.

It's frustrating to think that this part of the game may have suffered more from the crunch than anything else.

No, I didn't see it in my artbook. But I'll look again.

The Pariah is not present in the digital version. Maybe that's it?

Well, the first is what became the Adjuntant used in the "Invasion" comic.
The second, and this is where it gets really creepy, depicts three women, with very clear Husk characteristics, fused together and using biotics. Yikes.

I am so picturing Miranda and Oriana being turned into the Pariah right now.

Henry: I tought it so tragic that the sisters were apart for 20 years. So, I made sure they could never be separated again.

That's sick, but you said three women...perhaps failed clones?  Miranda did say she wasn't the only one he created.  Would be an interesting confrontation between it and her and Oriana and if you want to take it further make it so they are somewhat alive and aware...they ask her to kill them.  Kind of like that scene in Aliens: Ressurection if anyone isfamiliar with Ripley destroying the failed clones that the scientist went through to bring her back to life.

This is just petty, but would it have killed
them to have Miranda and Jack physically present before the final
battle? Last kiss, etc.

I won't lie, that would have been nice to have.
Thing is while digging through the audio files for the last conversations, there's a few lines where Grunt tries to rally his elite group of Krogan (likely if you saved them) and it seems to be right there where Shepard is (he has lines where he tells Shepard they are ready and the audio itself isn't distorted like it would be if it was via vidcom).

Perhaps at one point the devs had them all there (at London I mean)?

Otherwise it would have been nice to see small video clips of them in battle and whatnot.

Better yet, they could have made the Crucible site visitable and you could chat with those working on it for a time.  But I'm going OT with this...

Just saw Miranda romanced death say, seems like that one had more payoff to the romance. Drops the "love you" to Shep.

I FOR ONE LOVE the "Survival" Romance Arc with Miri<3. You don't have to say "I Love You" to confirm that you Love Someone<3.

I'm disgusted with this talk of torturing Miranda. Please stop it or take this chat to emails or something... Don't give bioware any more stupid ideas like these. ugh... I want more romanced type themes with Miranda and Shepard then all these ridiculous let's kill and torture Miranda because you think its fun. It isn't. It's stupid. It's sick and twisted and do not like reading it here in her support thread. Sheesh.

Might as well join the club and add this to the rest of the pictures. This is James, my cannon Shepard with Miranda.

Leng beat the stuffing out of her, so she can't do frontline fighting anymore, but she can run logistics and generally behave like a general in a modern army. There. That took me thirty seconds. You could even have Coats interject to show how weird it is to be working with her.

And I'm a sap. I'm going to my death. I want a last kiss.

I do not think that makes you a sap rather than a normal human being. The perfunctory way they handled ME2 LIs would be something I'd complain about endlessly, if everything wasn't overshadowed by that abomination of an ending.

Glad to see I was not the only one dissapointed by Sanctuary.
For what was supposed to be Cerberus' moral event horizon, it was fairly tame. Visually, at least.

It was somewhat disappointing gameplay-wise, yes. But the logs got to me emotionally. I don't need to see what exactly they did there. All those hopeful refugees.... and then... *shudder*.

Not at all. I get absolute no Miranda vibes from her.

It would have been really touching to be able to physically talk to Miranda before the Final Assault, even more if she is your LI, one last kiss before it ends.
At least we have a Goodbye conversation (I don't like to say that) between them which is good.

I finished my ME3 Insanity playthrough last night, now, I don't know if I'll touch the SP ever again, unless it gets fixed. However, I'm going to do another ME2 playthrough, I feel like a need a shower in addition to general decontamination

In my experience, I think I am satisfied with her role in ME3.
It's true, though, that there could have been more appearances with her. 5 times is really not much (and 2 were holograms).
But if you compare her to the others (squadmates from ME2) she plays a pretty large role with Sanctuary and her father.

So bottom line: She has a really good role, but I would have liked to see her more often.
And I'm really glad she's not one of the squadmates who dies during the story :D

But that's just my opinion.

I know many of you don't wanna hear about this, but I had just the same thought about Miranda being turned into a husk, but somehow came back and bagged Shep to kill her.....would be a good romance death.....you know, could have shep frustrated/angry, not being able to pull the trigger.....

That's what I thought. I want a failed Miranda to really break my heart. The romance version does, but they could have twisted the knife more. By the same token, I want triumphant Miranda to really triumph. I want to see that crack team instead of it being an afterthought. I want players to be grateful she survived. And yes, I want that last kiss.

The talk of torture and romance spring from the same place: a desire for emotional satisfaction.

Yeah, I can understand that point of view. Which is why I care more about the survival scenario being so half-hearted as compared to the death scenario being somewhat heart-wrenching.
