I still think Miranda is great but I feel much more emotionally connected to Ashley, the way I felt about transitioned well from ME1 to ME3 ( I know horizon) (also IMO)
I don't regret my relationship with Miranda in ME2 because I loved it but it didn't transition well for me so I didn't feel as strongly.

You know, I'm still confused over the issue that they said if we cheated on our ME1 LI with and ME2 LI, that there was going to be some sort of fallout. Yet all we got was just 1 or two lines and nothing else? Not even a grudge? No biting remarks? I took Ash to Sanctuary to see if there was going to be a fallout....and..nothing. Am I the only one seriously disappointed by this?

Well, in point of fact, it potentially has more impact on Miranda than anyone else, since breaking up with her = she dies.

Well, my maleShep couldn't go back with Ashley not after everything was said and done on Horizon.  My Maleshep was still pissed and roleplayed it that way.  He didn't even say good to see her when they first met.  Chose the bottom option. Which kind of confused ash.  Then the whole Mars thing.  My maleShep felt very bad and wanted to be there for her.  Both options... wanting to work it out and don't know how they stood were good...  Shepard did want to work things out but not in the romantic sense.  He was in love with Miranda.  Ashley lost her chance and her continuing to doubt him only pushed my MaleShepard away.  He did tell ashley to trust him and the he was still him.  I just did a replay of the cerberus base scene to see what Ashley's response would be to the whole Lazurus project. It was enlightening but it was far to late.  Shepard would only be friends with Ash.  I thought the frienship path with myShep and Liara was great.  At one point, I thought Liara was trying to romance him and visa versa.  When Shepard was talking with Liara's father... "Nobody touches my girl."  I facepalmed.  Uh what???   Oh no!  I hope Miranda doesn't hear that!  

The whole scene with Traynor coming up to his bedroom was good.  "This is a trap isn't it?"  That's what I felt these were, a test of fidelity.  I did choose the option for Shepard to hint at the bed just to see what'd happen... I knew she was gay but it was hilarious to watch Shepard get turned down... I had to reload that. NO way in hell was she going to tell anyone he asked to have sex with her.  Miranda would castrate him.  

The whole aller flirt.    He shot her down without a second thought.  

Liara wanting to be more then friends was kind of cute scene.  Liara was all flustered. haha... much like Miranda was when Shepard kissed her or wanted to admire her body.   But I like the friendship avenue better.

The gift Liara gave Shepard at the end was nice... I just hope Liara didn't ninja shepard into something *tastefully evil* getting preggy... not that it wouldn't be cool.   I think that'd open a can of worms for Shepard and Miranda.   If they all survived.   I personally though the head on the shoulder was really cute.  (my male shep romanced Liara and Ashley in me1... but chose ashley. I guess that's okay since I could never dump Miranda)

I might just make a playthrough with Liara romance in ME3... and see the friendship path with Miranda.

With the way the endings are now, I can't see Miranda attempting pregnancy (assuming she's already circumvented her infertility) while humanity needs rebuilding.

At least with my canon run (and by extension, the continuation of the story via fan fiction), I can keep Shepard and Miranda together.

Yeah, I know. I really didn't see any big consequence...  The only line I saw was Ashley saying her line about Miranda if Shepard wanted to work things out with Ashley.  I wasn't fond of how Shepard said he wanted to get back with Ashley... but wanted Shepard to resolve their issues back on Horizon more likely but I went with 'don't know' and never heard Ashley **** about moving on with Miranda.  I did like how Shepard told Ashley how he felt.

There is one part where Shepard was meeting Ashley and the family memorial and he touched her hands and Ashley freaks the hell out with her facial expression. I'm sorry, I laughed at that.  She was even more distraught  when Shepard just came as a friend.

Either way, I wonder if the hammer ground forces would have been better prepared with Ashley and Chakwas.   I kept them both on the Normandy.  Maybe I'll send them off next playthrough if I can or want to play that is.  And told Alj reporter girl to bugger off.

Yeah, I understand why you left Ashley. I was pissed about Horizon as well I got over just like she got over me being with Miranda. So we wanted to continue a romantic relationship

Lol I shot down Allers as well, her face scares me

Traynor is a great crew member, always something interesting to say. I really enjoyed playing with her but didn't try anything that would attempt a relationship as I'm now commited to Ashley.

I see as Liara a great friend, I only romance her with my FemShep though

I took Liara with me to the Cerberus Headquarters. What was Ashley's reaction like?

Ashley basically thought Shepard was unconsciousness... asks about what Shepard remembered... Shepard has doubts but he's still himself. Ashley confirms Shepard is still himself. Ashley remarks that Shepard did what he had to and now was the time to go put it right. And states... "That son-of-a-**** set you up." Ashley also wished she was there at the collector base... that the reaper thing was creeping her out and glad cerberus was dealt with.  Ashley is also glad that Shepard had a hand in shutting down Cerberus.

If it weren't for the implication that galactic society was doomed, I would actually be fine with the "destroy/Shepard gasping for air" ending.

That's my overall view for it.

Shepard's renegade response to Ashley in the hospital "Let's consider this a fresh start for both of us" sounds much more natural to me -- regardless of romance status. Ashley spent 2 and a half years either thinking Shepard was dead or thinking he was a terrorist. It isn't exactly the best time to get back together (At least, not as quickly as they can).

But that's enough of Ashley.
