The breakup=death is malicious. How many of you originally romanced Ash? She shouldn't die because you found someone you like more. Neither should Miranda.

I always took it as Ashley dumped my MaleShep on Horizon and with those word "Traitor" really do sting.  He'd just woken up after two years, I'm pretty sure his feelings for Ashley were still there but then she crushes him by her words.  Yep.  She lost him.

At the hospital, Ashley does say, "I'm a big girl."  Yeah, Ashley will get over it eventually.   A little to late in the story... Ashley made her choice and so didn't my MaleShep.  He'll be forever with Miranda.

It just proves Miranda was IN LOVE with Shepard before he broke her.   That Bastard!
That was a heartbreaking scene.  And Shepard was standing there... stupid idiot!

Wait, what's the implication here?

Exactly what the other's just posted.  Miranda never pushed Shepard away... Shepard had no reason whatsoever to break up with Miranda unless he truly was an **** and just thought with his dick and nothing else.   That would make the whole ME2 romance a joke/fling.  :(

That in itself is a betrayal from Shepard to Miranda.  Miranda didn't warrent any break-up with Shepard.  Even though, she teases shepard about backing out...

It's interesting to note that Cerberus had a habit of breaking people out of jail that were captured.

I like the fact that Miranda was tempted to break in and see him but was smart enough to realize that would have been disasterous afterwards.

Miranda doesn't take any unnecessary risks but she did with Sanctuary when someone she cared/loved was in danger.

I just want to romance who I want, be honorable about it, and not have my favorite character die. That too much to ask?

It's too bad we cannot have more Maps for Multi-Player, including Sanctuary, and ACTUAL Characters as the Mission Announcers. Imagine Miri being the Mission Announcer for a Sanctuary Map for Multi-Player:wub:.

thats saying though it was not like the reapers were going to attack earth whilst shepard was under house arrest.... oh wait scratch that

but seriously though it was a nice explanation why Miranda didnt have any contact with shepard unlike Ashley Williams one which was just a terrible reason 'I couldnt bare to see you' which pretty much says I cant stand what you have become.

My headcannon is that she snuck in somehow just to see him anyway a few times, because she missed him. But that's just my personal headcannon.

Impossible, there's no way to any DLC with Miranda content. Even if it is for MP (Yvonne won't record anything for ME never again).

There is no source. This isn't even record of her hating it.

Not negative, realistic. The only think they can give us of Miranda is a flashback for the end and maybe a pic from her in Shepard cabin. More screen time or even hearing her voice is impossible. Her character is in the bottom of their priorities.

Yeah, where did she say or imply this? I know she didn't on Twitter, I'm following Yvonne.

No source, just assumptions (she's expensive, and could have little time to record. Besides the game didn't have enough budget to extend the dialogues from the ME2 characters).

They could just pull a Javik.

Hell, she wouldn't even need the same amount of conversation Javik has.

Agreed as well. It's an obviously watered-down version of the character, indefensibly so, really. And I doubt even the people who wrote/implemented it would bother denying it.

I remember one of their rare quotes from the developers about her b4 release was that Miranda was a 'simpler character' this time round.

That set the alarm bells ringing.

And it turned out to be true

Yeah... and actually Miranda not contacting Shepard while under arrest helped his case in a sense.  Shepard had to keep proving he's not working with Cerberus and James backs Shepard up... But you know what...  That's Ashley's problem not Shepards.

I can understand Ashley's problems with Cerberus and how she was afraid or distraught about seeing Shepard when Anderson called for her.  Ashley knew she ****ed up but still didn't trust Shepard either.

My maleShep didn't say he was happy to see Ashley... the renegade option was kind of funny.  Threw Ashley for a loop. :D  But then my maleShep told Ashley on Mars.  I'm still me.  Trust me, please.  I kept Ashley on the ship but this time around. Second playthrough... told Dr.Chakwas to stay with hackett.  Took the reporter on board.  Won Aljahi(whatever)reporter the 10 points? for war asset and will tell Ashley to go with Hackett.

Does the Normandy really need a doctor??? I think I'll leave Michael's on the Citadel?  :?  Since **** hits the fan later.

I actually laughed at Ashley's reasoning for not seeing Shepard.

But that's a whole 'nother story.

I think you really need to stop with these 'assumptions' there is no source for how expensive anyone is UNLESS the actor themselves or bioWare tells you they are expensive.  I don't think they'd charge millions of dollars like regular movie actors or tv???  I think it's a couple thousand dollars for voice over work?   I read it somewhere... I think it was in the new york times when Jennifer Hale was talking about her experience as a voice over.  I'll see about getting more concrete figures from the article or from online searches.

I'm open minded that ANYTHING can and will happen... in regards to getting what we(fans) want included in the Mass Effect Universe within reason of course.

The whole idea of why Shepard doesn't have a picture of Miranda?  Maybe because she was an Ex-Cerberus Operative and they (Shepard or Miranda) didn't really come out and tell Anderson, Hackett the alliance fleet or Normandy that they were still in a relationship with each other.  It's mentioned somewhere that if you consumated a relationship/rekindle. The crew knew you had someone but no idea who???  The only people that knew...anything were the old ME2 team.  Primarily Liara, Joker, Tali... I've only heard references in regards to Miranda about except Ashley... How she found out... I have my own assumptions being that Miranda is pretty possessive, in a good way.

I think you're really overdoing it a bit on the assumptions there. I'm not happy with the Miranda content in ME3, but the whole... "it's over/never again/impossible/lowest priority" thing... it's a bit much, let's not get carried away with the negativity.

I think what he's referring to was Casey's comment that Miranda was a simpler character then Jack. Nothing about ME3.
