Too bad there wasn't an agressive kiss in the third talk, looks like cut content. Just saying....

Hmm,

[biod_cithub_miranda_loc_int.citwrd_miranda_talk3_culm_m_d.citwrd_miranda_talk3_culm_m_dlg]
1: Speaking only inches from each other.
2: They move in for an aggressive kiss.
3: Pulls her in close.
4: Physically closer still, just about to touch.

I am disappoint.

Omg thank you for this find!

Why wasn't this in ME3's culm scene?!

LoL. Well, not really, since most of the negativity around the time of leak was actually justified for the most part. But what's done is done, there's no point in being gloomy for the sake of it.

The breakup=death is malicious. How many of you originally romanced Ash? She shouldn't die because you found someone you like more. Neither should Miranda.

It does come across that way, especially given the way the romances are implemented, i.e. Miranda's isn't really implemented, and she isn't around much. And the consequences are Miranda-specific.

It's an aspect of Miranda's role that I think would be difficult/impossible to justify, were it to be discussed openly and in an honest manner. Which makes me wonder if Bioware will ever be willing to do so.

Why is she the only one who is condemned after the break-up? It wouldn't be the first idiotic and completely pointless move Bioware has made in the past.

I think this is deleted content  ("test dump" )
but the agressive kiss could be the part just before the black screen

Looks like the old version of the kiss scene, probably with someone interrupting. I do find it interesting that at one point Henry could live and Oriana could die.

Hardly. Repeating the same complaints for 600 pages over something that should never have been taken too seriously to begin with? Not justified at all. But yeah, it's in the past now. If there's one thing I'm grateful for on here it's that.

The thing with the romances in ME3 is that the whole "consequences" for "cheating" that was hyped in ME2 basically boils down to the VS not trusting you and Shepard having to shoot if he doesn't have a high enough reputation. Unless the "consequences" for having an ME1 and ME2 LI was the fact that you don't get as satisfying a romance arc if you stick with the ME2 LI.

Well, accurate as to the substance. Worth spending time on? Well, that's a subjective call Image IPB

I think it was Casey but I don't think Jack was part of the quotes. Simply that Miranda was a simpler character this time round.  Probably wrong, you have a better handle on Miranda stuff jtav.

Either way both Miranda and Jack were short changed

We complained in the hope that it would change something. For what it's worth, I think it's likely that that complaining did lead to the e-mail in the SB terminal. I only wish there could have been substantive content addressing our concerns. But, quite frankly, I have bigger fish to fry them Miranda.

I recall the quote jtav is referring to, and I remember it basically as she does, it was in the context of an interview about ME2. Anyway, agreed on the 2nd part.

Incidental.  Back then we had no way of knowing how closely it would match the final product and no justification to claim otherwise.
We can compare now but now it doesn't matter because we have the full game. And the RGB pretty much wiped out all our concerns anyway.

compared to the ending lack of ME2 characters including Miranda is extremely minor tbh.

I am happy enough with the romance with Miranda in ME3 was worse than I hoped but better than I feared.

Now I know how disappointing it feels to lose a game show while on the last round.

And all because I chose to romance someone OTHER THAN Liara or Ashley.

That's not really true. People pointed out at the time that similar leaks had occurred in the past, and that the final product was essentially the same.

They were right.

On here? Really? As if Bioware actually reads these things. They only come in to character and romance when there's moderating to be done. I'm sure there were more efficient ways of going about that. Again not that any of it mattered...

I rememeber back when the SB dossier came out and all that whirlwind over her infertility/pregnancy etc and folks worried about her being cured by Shepard's Super Sperm

I think I would have preferred Shepard's Super Sperm to what we got (er...for Miranda that is...not me Image IPB)

So Miranda is left on a devastated Earth away from the 2 people she loves

As we English say....bugger

Precedent is an iffy justification at best and I hardly think you had enough in this case.
