She has about as much content as Mordin and Legion and a little more than the other ME2 team members. It's also more spread out over the game. But 99% of her content isn't plot-relevant as opposed to Mordin and Legion, and as opposed to Grunt and Thane, she hasn't got a badass cutscene. Major character traits have also been ignored or diluted.ENorman94 wrote...

Indeed. It may have been damage control, but it saves Miranda in several ways. Only it's incomprehensible why they thought that a total lack of post-Sanctuary content could ever be acceptable.MisterJB wrote...
BTW, is anyone else who goes to the Citadel these days disappointed that there is no Miranda statue?

She has this entry in the Shadow Broker dossier in ME2 that says so, but it's really laughable. To cure her should be child's play with the technology of the ME universe. I wouldn't be surprised if we could do it today.kookie28 wrote...
I didn't know Miranda is infertile. So . . . I don't get perfect babies?
So, if you want to ignore this feel free to do so. In my version of events, it's a problem caused by eezo exposure which does damage to the ova on a cellular level, so I can justify it's not an easy problem to overcome and make it into a believable story element. But cured it gets in the end.

Hi guys! I wrote a piece discussing having Liara and Miranda as simultaneous love interests throughout the trilogy. Would be cool to hear from you guys!

I like the other version better because it underlines that what she's done is impressive. They come across more as equals, at the price of Shepard not sounding protective. But yeah, she could've told him. It would've been smart to do so. Bioware's penchant for drama for the sake of drama raises its head again. The amount of "this is stupid" moments in the trilogy is astonishing.Dr. Doctor wrote...
On a similar note, if you romaced Miranda and she survives Sanctuary choosing the "coming here was foolish" option is actually pretty good. Shepard comes off as being angry/worried and comes right out and says that she could have told him what she was planning.

I'd do a Miranda romance playthrough again. There isn't much there for romance dialogue, but what is there is really good.

Considering how Miranda's most emotional scene is her romance death it's obvious BW wanted to kill her off
I didn't get that impression at all. Only reason there was not more emotional scenes is because she is not a squadmate. Hell look at jack atleast with Miranda you get multiple scenes jack you get one mission and a dance.

I don't mind having to struggle for her survival, it feels like a reward and a relief once you get through Sanctuary. Though it's true that her role seems unfinished afterwards.

Actually, having Jack and Miranda as part of that mission would be a good way to get them on the Normandy for a love scene.

I'm not sure about this but it seems that only Shepard, EDI and squadmate #2 actually get inside it to get the Prothean VI. I know Shep is good but breaking in one of the most fortified fortress with only two people at your side seems complicated ... but well Shepard has beaten the odds before.
BTW have you been disappointed by Kai Leng's boss battle ? I like the arena, TIM's office is awesome but the fight itself is not that great, he basically is a Phantom 2.0.

More with its design than anything else. I mean once again boss cannot face us in single combat, so to speak, but has to use help of mobs. Like if they wanted to underline Shep is so special than no one can handle him one on one(so to speak) and has to cheat to win, or he had to cheat because he was the bad guy. It's getting old after a while when every aspect of the game is trying to convince player how special he/she is, in that manner. Only you can do this, only you can do that, we wouldn't have been here if not for you...
This is infact one of the reasons i like Miri so much, she got the job done (more or less) without me;p

Then again, I had this crazy idea of the robot on Mars being Miranda, with "our" Miranda being killed by Cerberus. The fight damages the shackles, and you have a new/old party member with most of the same memories.

No, they wanted her to die. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get her to survive. Her death provides emotional closure. Her survival feels like there's a scene missing somewhere.
This.
Pretty much. I hated I couldn't have her back on the Normandy. Seriously, BW, amazing opportunity wasted. Miranda and Ashley on the same ship? Awesomesauce: epic banter, maybe a fight or two ... whatever. Best opportunity to make those two becoming friends - wasted.
*sigh*
How do you guys cope Miranda's bad treatment?

1. True. Without an ending where Shepard lives AND can stay with the one s/he loves, everything regarding LIs and characters is pretty much meaningless.
2. Trufax. Writing one. It's Ashley-centered but yeah ... better than nothing.
Still, I'm pretty much frustrated how BW dealt with certain characters - and I didn't even got the shortest end of the stick. You Miri-fans got worse.
Man ... I read the leaks and knew she wouldn't be around for more than just a mission or two. The fact she NEVER returns to your squad - was really ... really downing me.
*sigh*
Ashley and Miranda. The galaxy's most tempting women for me ...
And both pretty much damaged / destroyed in ME3

I don't mind Shep or Miranda dying in theory. What I mind very much is dying to destroy the universe instead of save it. I mind Miranda losing the very sister she fought for.
But yes, that's the big thing about the endings. It feels as if you've died and accomplished nothing. The good thing is that I now feel justified in creating headcanon to make them both survive and meet again. I hope I'll be able to write that up one of these days, now that I'm slowly coming up out of the emotional low triggered by the endings.
@Asakawa:
