so I was wondering, I've only heard liara say nice things about miranda "you've changed her" - "I hope you're happy together"....but if you romanced both liara and miranda does liara say something "mean" abour miranda ? just curious.....

Well, even if, as a Miranda fan, it really hurts to see the romance death scene it is actually well-written. I advice you to watch it on Youtube just once so you can see every Miranda-related content the game has to offer.
At least with that scene, Bioware managed to make me feel sad, positively speaking, contrarely to the endings.

IMO, the game is sad enough as it is already. In more ways than one.

And is sad that the only visual kiss with Miranda in ME3 is during her romanced death scene.

What gets me is that she isn't allowed to fight Leng. It's just...over. At least if she lives, she sounds almost smug about the tracer. Like she knew she'd won the victory that mattered.

Yeah definitely

About the endings I don't know about you but I've come to a point where I don't even know if fixing them is a good or bad thing. At least it's a proof of good faith, they know they made mistakes but I mean will they really listen to the critics?
I don't want to suffer another huge dissilution again. Head canon is priceless these days.

According to the wiki, it's possible for Henry to live if Miranda's dead. Huh.

Well, that sort of makes sense, given how the "deal/no deal" thing works when she's there.

I didn't see it myself since I don't have any save without Miranda being alive but I supposed that yeah.
Unless Shepard or Oriana shoots him, there's no one to tell him "No Deal !"

Here's the way it works:

If you fail the rep check or don't shoot Ori in the leg, she'll knock them both out the window and die. If you do persuade/interrupt, a second interrupt will pop up. Shep either kills him or lets him get away.

Does it says wether or not shooting him has any outcome, for example at TIM's base ? Probably not in my opinion.

Lol. My attempt at a Liara-mance with my first FShep failed.

Hi guys! I wrote a piece discussing having Liara and Miranda as simultaneous love interests throughout the trilogy. Would be cool to hear from you guys!

commanderbedlam.wordpress.com/

You stopped where it gets interesting  What did you do in ME3? Also. it would've been better to link to the piece directly, it is confusing to read that it isn't done yet on the first page.

Okay, thanks for reading it and for your thoughts! I've pasted the link below for the others who haven't seen the latest update. Well, I'll post the update as soon as it's done! I will post the ME3 continuation today :)

Thanks so much!

Nothing against Liara, but I'm getting kind of sick of Bioware and ME2+3 egging me into romancing her.

Her precarious lack of death is racking on me too.

How do you guys cope Miranda's bad treatment? :crying:

I've played the game twice with 2 imports, both Miranda romances and I don't know if I'm gonna play the game again (especialyl if this Closure DLC is meaningless). I'm really agitated by Miranda not being on the squad for at least one mission. Especially since Cerberus is so over-powered (with their infinite army, fighter jets, and armored centurions), she should have had more to do with my mission. I know some people on here disagree, that Miranda is her own woman and does what SHE needs to do to get the job done. Fine....but for female cover character from ME-2 to be reduced to whining about a computer chip (which we already discussed) and not even be involved on the attack of TiM's base? Pure nonsense......

So many of the interviews with the devs (they're on Youtube) have them saying out and out lies about characters and the story. I just don't understand how they thought that was OK.

I try to rationalize the lack of Miranda being due to a lack of Yvonne Strahovski. Either they didn't wanna pay her more or she didn't have the time. I can handle that and I wish they could just come out and say it, that way I won't feel lik they purposely chopped down Miranda. But if they had time to do even 25% more than what we got in this game, we should have gotten it.

I can deal with Miranda not being a squad mate (I would pay $$$ for more interaction, but I would never, ever condemn her to being stranded with the Normandy on planet Godknowswhere).

What bothers me the most is that 90% of her involvement is Loyalty mission 2.0, with the incidental Cerberus association being Henry Lawson working for TIM now.

How Bioware thought that a good idea, I'll never know. Then again, they passed the endings, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

you know the "lack of miranda" gives me something to look forward to while playing, I like how sanctuary is one of the last missions, makes me wanna keep playing so I can get there .....if she would've had, like one mission in the beginning, then it would've had been even worst imo

I think they really wanted to go "Cerberus? What Cerberus?" with Miranda. They're not just indoctrinated, they're evil. Making her have to wrestle with her feelings for them and they she worked for them and rose high in their ranks both makes Miranda a darker character and humanizes Cerberus. Neither of which they want. The side effect is draining Miranda of all that once made her interesting.

On this...

I do like that Sanctuary is a priority mission, unlike every other ME2 character's (Barring Legion and Mordin). It lends Miranda a certain presence that Thane, Samara, Zaeed, etc, simply don't have.

But of course, it's ruined by Oriana.
