I think I could live with Yvonne not being Miranda's voice anymore if it would mean having significantly more and a better screentime.
Though it would be really weird I guess, the VA is part of the character, even more so with Miranda who also has Yvonne's face in addition to her voice.

The voice is an integral part of her character, to me anyway.

I was so disappointed when I heard Mordin.

It was strange at first but the Shroud still left me almost in tears.
So yeah, I can deal with a new VA.

Honestly I think that if Bioware were willing to make a significant Miranda themed DLC they would go all the way to get Ms. Strahovski back. She is definitely not the biggest obstacle for dlc I think.

Right now, the only obstacle is Yvonne's availability. She's currently shooting "I, Frankenstein".

Too be honest I did not notice too much Mordin being recast.

but the scenes with Mordin were granted short but they were amazing throughout even parts when it was just him humming to himself and talking about researching shells on the sea shore for a retirement project. (just brilliantly done and suited Mordin right down to the bone)

same can be said for Legion his scenes really matched him brilliantly and granted its a shame we did not get any really cool moments like we did with Mordin (except for the Geth Concensious which was really unique mission and was a nice change of pace)

I won't be surprised if Bioware want to do a DLC mission with Miranda considering the popularity ratings are showing that she is the most popular non squad mate character in ME3 by quite a distance.

but unsure on where they can go with Miranda's story except after ME3's ending which is very debatable on where that will go.

they could pay Martin Sheen, I really don't get why the "Yvonne is too expensive for Bioware" theory deal...

Agreed.
And they have wasted money for more useless things ...

Yeah, I tend to agree. It's difficult to speculate on stuff like how Strahovski's contract works, and how the VA budget is handled, etc. But, given that there's no concrete reason to believe this was ever a problem, I'm content to just be happy she's back.

And complain about stuff I don't like :D

Given that she was probably under contract for two games to begin with, and is rather under-utilized in ME3, who knows, it might even be a positive.

I don't expect to see any Miranda centered DLC within the next six months anyway. Bioware has other plans in motion and (hopefully) an expansion to the ending to work on. Surely she'll be done shooting before she would be needed.

I could see Yvonne coming back. I don't see how she is "expensive." BioWare may have wanted Miri to have a small role in ME3 in the first place, and not because of the cost of using Yvonne. If that was the case then, BioWare would have had a problem with Martin Sheen, an actor who has been around for decades.
If BioWare were to create DLC for Miri, I doubt they would have a problem bringing Yvonne back. It's not like she hated the role. She even said it herself that (I can't accurately quote her, and I do not remember the video) she thought it was easier to play a voice then being in front of a camera.

I believe that she would be happy to oblige recording again if the time comes.

Miranda without yvonne's voice isn't miranda for me. We could sense the differents in the voice and it would just break the personality

If she doesn't have other projects after that one.
I just hope Yvonne will accept to play characters that the writers care about, in the future.

Huzzah! I'm upgrading my pc a lil by lil, so that helps keeping me motivated.

i'm asking a friend to do the color work for the Queen of Spades card. I'm pretty sure she won't mess everything up like I probably would XD i'm so looking forward to see it done, and i haven't finished the line art yet haha

Miri without Yvonne is not Miri. Her voice is one of the Beautiful and Unique Qualities of Miri. She would not be the same Character I Loved for more than 2 Years without Yvonne. Miri IS Yvonne, and Yvonne IS Miri.

Recasting for Miri would be like Recasting for Sarah Walker. It could not, and cannot be done, Because Yvonne Played/Plays BOTH Parts Beautifully<3.

You could see Thane's death coming from a long way back. He's set up for a tragic romance right from the start, so I don't mind it. And his death scene is very touching (haven't seen the romanced version, that must be really sad). But yeah, femSheps have it bad. All three ME2 romances for maleShep can have a good end as far as good ends go in this game, but Jacob breaks up and Thane dies. I'm not looking forward to playing my Jacob-romancing Louise Shepard. Eh...I'll wait until the ending is fixed anyway.

The romanced version is almost the exact same thing as the non-romanced version.

With so few scenes, it will be much more difficult .. but I'll do my best to make something as good as the ME2 one.

I really liked the ME2 one. Despite the small amount of screentime Miranda has in ME3 I'm sure you'll do great ;)

If they were to do a recast they could always use Oriana's VA I could have sworn that Strahovski was voicing both of them.

Thanks.
I've already chosen the music and I have some sequences in my mind ... but I fear the lack of action scenes with Miranda will be a problem (and I don't want to use the ME2 ones).

you talked about recasting Miranda's voice and seem to be forgetting who Miranda's face is modeled after, because of that I highly doubt they would recast her and I kind of wonder because of that could they recast her without her giving them the right to so?

Finally found a video with the renegade option during the sanctuary scene : I prefer this one. Paragon Shepard is too kind with this bastard.
