Don't know if you've seen this yet, but it's audio of all the voices extracted from Shepard's dreams. Some pretty heartwrenching Miranda lines in there... many of them familiar but recorded in more of a whisper?

Thank you for this!  I didn't recognize one of the voice. I assume it was Kirrahe... Pretty interesting lines he had... He never died in my game.  Only had Thane, Kaidan, Legion whispers in my male Shep's dreams.

I typed up all Miranda's lines. Nothing we haven't heard before but now in whisper form.  Wow, the emotions she(yvonne) delivers is pretty good.

“Come for me Shepard. My father is working for the Illusive man.” – Miranda

“It was nothing I couldn’t handle.” – Miranda

“Finish this… you promise me.”  - Miranda

“I wanted you to have a normal life, marriage, children…Things I could never have.” - Miranda
(this one really annoys me because WHY can't Miranda have these!  Damn it!  :crying:  I want Shepard to give them too her!)

“It’s just a fact.  My reflexes, my strength, even my looks.  They’re all designed to give me an edge.  No hiding from it. – Miranda

“I don’t have what you do… that fire that makes someone willing to follow you into hell itself.” – Miranda

“I’m still human, Shepard. I make mistakes like everyoneelse.” – Miranda

“Shepard.” – Miranda

Phew. I spent the last two hours rewriting my "letter". Now it's more of an article. Title "Miranda - demoted to extra, diluted to safe". You'll find it in the other thread.

It's very good. I'm going to be rewriting/expanding my initial effort as well.

Note: there's a typo in the summary section, at one point you say ME3 when you mean ME2 (thought I'd mention it for clarity's sake).

Glad to hear it's going well, Visii. Great idea and you seem to have it well in-hand. Lots of varied and wonderful contributions.

On another note, and apologies if these have been covered before, but I figured you guys would be able to answer some questions. Sort of research for my writing.:P

1. Do we know exactly what Alliance resources Miranda was given by Shepard? From the email you see on the Shadow Broker terminal, it seems to imply that this is how she got hold of the fighter ship ('We'd offer you additional resources, but I understand you've procured a class-F private fighter...'). I figure that makes sense as I'm not even sure how she's getting around the galaxy at this point (but are they capable of long-distance travel?). Any further speculation or suggestions are welcome also.

2. Would you consider it weird if Miranda 'switched' to the Sentinel-style double-blade omni-tool? Do you think Cerberus could track her via her existing one, thus facilitating the need for a new one, anyway?

3. If she were to only have one gun, which would it be?I believe art tends to suggest a Shuriken (an SMG, I think?) but I figure a Carnifex would be pretty sweet. Everyone loves Carnifex! And Miranda settles for nothing but the best.

There may be more questions to follow...

We're going to put the pictures into the letter binder as section dividers, to give BioWare a chance to rest their eyes from the onslaught of fanmail.

If it is not your work please get permission from the artist before submitting it. Nothing explicit, please. I'd like to get some fan art of all the LI's, so please, ask around the forums here, or DeviantArt. Ask around the other threads! Time is of the essence, we don't have much of it left!

If any of my sketches help, feel free to add them =) http://asakawa.deviantart.com/

1. No clue about what it could be, likely supplies for her assault on Sanctuary (now I'm reminded of that one scene in Chuck where Sarah Walker is prepping to assault some base: grabbing guns and other equipment )

2. Yeah a little, two omniblades doesn't seem like her style.  Not sure about them tracking their people via Omni Tool but if they can then yeah she wouldn't hold on to hers.

3.  The debut of the Raptor Sniper rifle in a past trailer made me think "That'd be a weapon she'd use".  Then again in my ME2 games I'd mod her with a sniper rifle at times, just for fun :D

To the "What weapon Miranda would probably wield" discussion, I would say a Tempest for SMG, Carnifex for a handgun. For the lulz, give her a Revenant, Claymore, and Widow, all in the same loadout.

Honestly imo, this (these?) is something that should have at least been alluded too. If I wasn't hallucinating the whole ordeal... Aren't you able to talk about having children and a long-lasting relationship with Liara if you romance her (Even if it was jokingly)?

If that's the case, then doesn't that make her the only romance where that is possible? The hell? Assuming Miranda's infertility is some hellish magical devil-cancer disease and she'll never-ever have children ever, there's still nothing stopping her from having marriage and a "normal" life (In quotations because everyone's variation of normal is different).

On the other hand... They could just handwave it away.

By the way, Skullheart, I was reading that other thread and stumbled upon this...

Skullheart wrote...

Regarding Miranda, I think it should work better this way:

Keep the same way it is until the third talk. Remove the "love scene" from there. Let's face it, it isn't a love scene, just an extended version of the third talk. A love scene shouldn't be part of a non romance scene.

At the end of Sanctuary, Miranda and Oriana boards the Normandy, you can talk with both of them on the medical bay (Miranda was injured in her fight againt Leng).

During their stay on the Normandy you can add a discussion betwen Oriana and Miranda. Oriana wants to help to the war effort, helping with the crucible team (remember that Oriana is as smart as Miranda), Miranda wants to send her to a safe colony, away from the reapers. If Shepard has enough reputation he can convince Miranda to let Oriana helps in the Crucible, telling her that there's no point in hiding anymore, the reapers will reach that colony if they don't stop them. If Shepard hasn't enough reputation he can still send Oriana to the Crucible, but it will end the romance with Miranda.

After the talk in the medical bay there should be a talk betwen Shepard, Hackett and Miranda. Hacket will bring the issue of her being a former Cerberus operative, the second-in-command no less. Shepard can say that Miranda just gave them the location of of TIM's base, risking her life while she put a tracker on Leng. Hackett acknoweledges her contribution, saying he got a messagge from certan official about Miranda and some of her contacts taking out Cerberus outposts, and warning the Allience from Cerberus routes and traps. Hackett will offer her a full indult, for whatever she could have or haven't done while she was in Cerberus. He also offers her a position inside the Alliance as a civil consultor on his ship, Shepard can persuade her to take the position or to remain on the Normandy. Depending in the decision, she could be part of the ground team (and squad member) on Earth, or she'll be on board in the Alliance flagship (Hackett's ship?) coordinating assault teams on ground and space fighters during the battle for Earth.

She will still be a squadmate during the assault on TIM's base. The love scene will happen while travelling to TIM's base, just like the favored romances. During the mission she offers new insights about Lazarus project, Shepard cant talk with her about her past with Cerberus. And she'll have confrontation (dialogue) with TIM, something that me (and many of her fans) wanted.

After the attack to Cerberus HQ, when Hacket boards the Normandy, she can remain on the ship, or join Hackett on his ship (depending on the option shepard made before attacking TIM's base}. If she leaves with Hackett, Shepard will give her a passionate kiss before she leaves.

Before the final push to the beam, you can talk with her. Being in person (if she stayed on the Normandy) or holovid (if she left with Hackett), making a promise to stay find each other after the reapers.

I can't talk much about of what could happen as epilogue or in the endings. Just correct that no one from the party and Cortez should be on the Normandy when it crashes on Gilligan's planet (they were on Earth, not in the Normandy). And changing the damn flashback of Liara, I never romanced her and don't have intention of doing it. Walters, keep your waifu away of my Shepard.

You've been holding out on us Image IPB

Would you please send that to Visii as a letter for PAX, it's perfect Image IPB

I concur! Liking this idea, Skullheart.

Little idea that occurred to me while playing my NG+ Miranda-mance import earlier today: if we get the option to have Miranda rejoin us on the Normandy at some point, why not have her take up residence in your cabin? After all, Liara's got her old office, and sticking the lovely Miss Lawson in Life Support just doesn't seem right (everywhere else seems to be full, IIRC). Besides, I know I'd be much more inclined to visit my cabin regularly if I knew Miranda would be waiting for me!

I see her on one of the couches or chairs, maybe looking over a datapad or something. Shep would take a seat with her for conversations. You could also recycle the ME2 "romance animations," too, as a little bonus -- add a trigger on the sofa cushion next to her to get the "sitting" scene, and another trigger on the bed to get the "cuddling" scene.

The way I see it, I think it'd be a nice touch to add a little more interactivity/interest to what seems to me like a pretty empty space. Would anyone else be weirded out if you didn't have the cabin to yourself? Am I totally off-base with this idea here?

Go back after every mission, yep.

I would be fine with the cuddle scene, but I dislike the lap-sitting (It just looks awkward to me). Personally, I think Shepard's MP3 player near his bed could use some more "romantic" music for the cuddling.

As long as it was with Shepard's romance partner, I have no problem sharing his quarters with someone else, especially if their old office was taken by someone else... I'm not immediately sure what other rooms she could decide to hang out in.

I figured that I might get that reaction from my fellow threadizens.

It didn't bother me, per se, but I can see where you're coming from. And additional tunes for the sound system would be welcome!

Right, I figured that sort of went without saying. :)

I haven't done a playthrough with a squaddie romance, so I don't know if you get the option to call them up to your cabin as in ME2 (if you do, I haven't seen it online). Seems like that'd be a little less jarring than just yanking them out of their existing quarters. Am I missing any other LIs who could plausibly join you on the Normandy after completing their ME3 side quest? Miranda's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

It certainly does feel that way, what with the flirty (auto) dialogue between non-romance Liara and Shepard, or the "I just wrote your name in the stars" scene. Give her all the touching moments, to hell with everyone else, especially if they were from ME2.
