From this article, I think there's still place for a reunion scene, it probably won't be much but it is still something.
The good question is will a reunion scene suit the oh so artistic tastes of the writers ?

The good is thing about this DLC is that it would be free. However, paradoxically, it means no benefit for EA thus no major intervention intended.

When this DLC is released and I'll play it, something tells me I'll do this : "...  Ok !" *opens his Xbox tray, places the DVD in its box and then on his rack where it'll get dusty*

You guys should check this out. Make your own ending to Mass Effect 3
http://shannon.users...net/masseffect/

I have.  It's not bad. I still think EDI being part of the Normandy wouldn't be truely gone... just the body.  Think about it? How can you separate the two? ME3 should have had one to be honest. Epilogue.  I don't know...

Destroy is the only ending where EDI's body would be destroyed and that ending destroys all Reaper tech as well. EDI is based on Reaper tech, even the part of her integrated into the Normandy, so she'd still die.

Unless in the extended scene, for Synthesis it shows Shepard materializing again with a smirk, and in Control he assumes direct control of a synthetic.Do I think Bioware will do this? Nope! Weve been promised things pre-release and look how that turned out..

I think it would be funny, if in an extended Destroy scene, Shepard wakes up, starts making his way back to civilization, looks to his right and sees a Geth digging people out of Citadel rubble, Shepard smirks realizing that the little Startbrat is a liar.

The endings are not worth debating anymore. Not for me anyway. So... more Miranda. I think she and Hackett would work well together. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one that tells the Alliance to look the other way.

Because it means genocide (geth) when other options are available. Destroy!Shepard doesn't deserve a reunion. Hence, why I tweaked Synthesis. A Shepard who sacrifices themselves for peace is a Shepard I want happy.

I think the destroy is the better ending overall and not only because Shepard lives. It's the ending where he can end the Reapers, why would anyone want to keep those things "alive"? At any time Shepard could lose control over them, or with the synthesis ending the Reapers could come back again with their objective repurposed. Too many variables to consider, I wouldn't take the risk.

Shepard also didn't know he would survive if he destroyed the Reapers, the star kid told him he was part synthetic, so the fact that he does survive doesn't make his act of choosing to destroy any less sacrificial.

And even if he did know, after everything he did he deserved some piece and I wouldn't mind destroying some synthetics to get that. I know it's not the right way of thinking but the geth will always be only machines for me and will probably rebel again sooner or later.

I did control for this reason.  I also felt that I didn't have the moral authority to alter the biology of the entire galaxy.

Press release from them regarding the "Extended edition".

In short - no new endings, and it's entirely possible that the endings will still be as nihilistic as they were beforehand.

Well, that just made my decision easier. Even though it's free, I'm not going to get it. They aren't doing anything worthwhile.

I also think I'm officially done with BW after this game.

I bet there won't be any content of Miranda. No way to get her VA to record anything anymore.

btw, I'm still working with the letter (I have to try many times, keeping the insults away). The problem is that I'm not a native english speaker. Can someone help me, read it and correct grammar and spell errors?

Yea, I really hope there is a reunion scene if Shep is alive, heck you don't even have to have lines, just do music in the background a la "From the Wreckage" from ME 1

This is my canon ending so even if there is no such scene I hope they won't screw up and deny this possibility because of their ending clarifications.

It seems they aren't getting even Shep's VA, so yeah, silent cutscenes and epilogue slides. Anyone else worried they'll kill Miranda and Jack off?

No. Like I said before if its something they "fixed" they won't "break it" again.

If they do a reunion scene I'll just mod it so it appears in all endings.

Doesn't make sense? Well, fits the ending perfectly then.

If they did so, then it would be goodbye headcanon for Thomas. I guess Daniel (my Ashleymancer) would get bumped up.

The only way they know how to fix characters is killeng them. They make exceptions if they are aliens, specially the blue ones.

And they'll need until summer to do that? Where did you get that they won't get Shepard's VA?

Because they are immaesurably knowledgeable and powerful. Imagine all they could teach us if we could just talk to them.
Look at how advanced the asari are because of the intervention of the protheans. And the protheans are nothing compared to the Reapers.
Just the very fact that someone like Habinger has existed since the dawn of time justifies having second toughts about destroying it.

I wouldn't mind destroying some synthetics to get that. I know it's not the right way of thinking but the geth will always be only machines for me and will probably rebel again sooner or later.

Even before achieving true sentience and individuality, the geth were far more respectful of the sovereignty of other species than the Council.
I'm far more willing to trust them than the turians, the asari or the salarians.
One tried to conquer us as soon as they saw us, the second hid prothean technology while demanding everyone else share theirs and finally...yagh, just...the yagh? Really? What do they figure will happen?

Couldn't care less about this piece of joke dlc. Partof me wants to uninstall all 3 games now but i'll not do that while i'm angry today. I'll have to make up my own ending for Miranda and Shep it seems, as Bioware has abdicated themselves from the task.

It's funny... but all this is actually making me want to BE a Reaper. If I ever play again and don't alt-f4 right after Anderson dies I'm picking control. It's the only option I know for a fact kills that damn holokid. The cycle is inevitable. Might as well go on be the winning side.

Nope, given what i've seen of Jessica's tweets i'm getting the impression there is going to be a liberal dose of happy dust added to the end to try and stop people querying how nonsensical it is.

I'll be blunt: "happy dust" will go a very long way in mollifying me. Not all the way, but it's amazing what you'll put up with in terms of logic if the ending makes you feel good.
