Indeed and she isn't some random ex-Cerberus offering her help, she's one the best among Humanity. It's a windfall for the Alliance to have her on their side.
They'd better keep their mouth shut or else

They could always add more content. With her they really do not need to rewrite the story. Heck even in Cronus , they could add dialogue for her and still have it fit.

The whole Miranda situation in ME3 is odd, considering they made Jack a friggin' teacher.

The way I see it is that she is concerned with keeping Oriana safe, since Cerberus had helped in hiding her from Henry Lawson. The line about "If I need a door or two kicked down, I know just who to call" suggests that, alongside not wanting to burden Shepard with anything else, a more subtle approach is needed...for now.

I could sympathise with that line of thought, and that she didn't want to jeopardise Shepard's situation during his incarceration. Just...she should've joined after Sanctuary.

Write new dialogue in character for her is easy, even for us. But recording the lines is another thing...

btw, I'm ashamed of myself. Looks like I'm the guy who plays most multiplayer from the regulars.

Yeah... Shepard would have no problem pardoning Miranda. As a Spectre, he can essentially overrule their judgement with his word alone.

Shepard wouldn't even have to say a word, all he'd have to do is hit the "pardon Miranda Lawson" button in the Spectre office.

I'm somewhat anxious about any new content coming out of the Extended Cut for Miranda. I doubt Strahovski will be asked back, but let's hope the epilogue is something we can get behind with fewer cliches.

Meer and Hale weren't contacted about the EC, I doubt Strahovski -- or any of the other VA's -- were asked to come back.

It's a free DLC afterall, with that in mind I can't imagine Bioware asking all the concerned VAs to come back.

Just wanted to chime in my support of Miranda and what i consider absurd idea of her not being a squad mate in ME3 ridiculous.

1. She is by far the best LI in the game series, (imo).
2. All main LI of the prior two games should have been an optional squad mate for 3. I think she was the only that didnt make the roster.

Lastly, she is barely even in this game 3rd time around which completely sucks. I know BW wanted to reduce squad size but one of the main things i loved about 2 was the large squad size of unique and cool characters.

Miranda is the only one that is at Sheps level except maybe Liara.

All the other LI just come across as cult followers.
Tali, she is to much a little girl in personality and ya, she is there to fix your shuttle so your not late going out to the space bars with Miranda or oil your guns, cause you know, you shoot them alot.

We really should have had Miranda as squad mate this go around, but hopefully they will include her as a dlc optional character.

Yes, even if you just recycle dialogue from the past games or Shepard just finds Miri if you can't get Strahovski

People have been replying and chiming in that they want Miri to be part of the DLC. While the momentum is up, I suggest you tweet the Mass Effect twitter account so that it will be a collective suggestion.

A mission might be good, I was thinking in something like this:

Miranda asks Shepard to help her raiding one of their base (one of her teams were MIA in there). They go there, kill some Cerberus troops and etc. The thing is that the leader in that bas is Miranda's mentor. Miranda has a talk with him/her (dialogue of cerberus idelas can be found here). The thins is that her mentor is indoctrinated, and s/he asks Miranda to kill him/her, Then s/he tells her that she is the only person who s/he trusts enough to bring a new future for mankind.

We're a pretty analytical bunch, as Miranda fans. She's always been the thinking man's knock-out

Something her current writer missed entirely, I might add.

However, it's important to remember: this part of things is not an intellectual exercise. There's nothing to figure out. We just say what we want and keep saying it. It's not about investing a lot of time, but more about just being persistant. Who knows what we may end up getting, but that is our best approach for improvement of the current deplorable situation.
