I think her tone in the last convo is just her usual pessimism. Remember she spent ME2 thinking she was probably going to die.
Agreed. Though I really can't blame her, considering the enemy they have to fight.

And it's clear she's in love. She just prefers not to act in a stereotypically romantic manner.
Around other people, maybe.
She's shown she's willing to act "romantic" with Shepard when they're alone.
But not in the stereotypical fashion.

She knew about the endings...
"Goodbye, Shepard. This whole universe is about to be destroyed by forces far more powerful than The Reapers."
"What? Which ones?"
"They are known only as The Writers. I have it from a very reliable source, code name Marauder Shields, that they are completely unstoppable and hellbent on the extinction of all life as we know it."

You're right

I'm saying you need to look elsewhere for
hearts, flowers, and romantic declarations. That's just not her under
ordinary circumstances.
You're right, and I don't see problems with this. I think it's better to have different LI that are different between each others, so that the players have the freedom to choose what they prefer.

Possibly, but I'm not sure if I'd write it as fact just yet. Like I said, she's shown to be more than willing to act romantic with Shepard when they are alone (Just not the stereotypical kissy-kissy "I wuv you").
Given the circumstances, it's very possible to get Miranda to admit feelings for Shepard. I believe I did it in Salvation (Or I pegged it as an implementation, I'll update it if I didn't.).
Since you mentioned flowers, I could actually see Miranda accepting them as a gift, though it would be awkward. Come to think of it, I think gifts in general would be awkward, at least for a short while.

What do you think guys, wouldn`t be good continue the hole ME Shepard story I`mean they left open one door whit the destroy ending and the little boy ask one more story for the old man.
Do you mean in a DLC or in a new game?
I don't know what to think about a dlc. It depends on the content.
For a new game, no. It's better to end Shepard's tale with ME3 and its dlc, in my opinion.

I'm doing that (sort of) in my story, entitled Salvation. It's in my signature if you want to check it out (I would appreciate feedback for the upcoming chapters anyway).

As a "creative choice," it's completely indefensible. PeriodMisterJB wrote...
Even if it was, I have to ask "Why?"
Let's assume that Miranda was tought with the very clear personality of a "Femme Fatale"
But, either by accident or design, her writing in ME2 turned her into so much more. She was extremely complex: her need to work to justify her own existence coupled with a genuine desire to achieve the impossible; her pragmatism coupled with her idealism; professional and personal; ruthless and caring; brains and heart; someone who could place a control chip in someone's brain due to caution while, at the same time, capable of risking everything for what she believes in and those she cares about.
So, why return to the lowest common denominator? The Femme Fatale who redeems herself and dies.
Why not stick with complexity as allowed by the game's resources and development time?

And just what is her, in the romantic sense... have we any idea from what is given to us in ME? I don't know if we've been privilaged with any... other than maybe Shepard's "come here" and she smiles... trying to maintain control and failing. Is she a cuddlier? Is your Shepard? (mine is..., he's the hopeless romantic...)
I could see her as a cuddle person. I know Shepard wouldn't deny it if she was.
I mean, I highly doubt it would be something just spontaneous, but if they were in bed together, then why not?

I think she probably likes cuddling, and being able to let her guard down. I think she also likes it when her partner, say, helps with paperwork so she can have free time. And sex. I think she probably does use that aspect to express love even more than most.
Yes, I have to agree with this. In Me2 she's in bed cuddling with Shepard. My favorite...
She's very hands on with her work and handiwork.
I just wished they, or WISH they expand with a DLC. *hint* *hint* Bioware writers!

Yes, I have to agree with this. In Me2 she's in bed cuddling with Shepard. My favorite...I think the engine room shows some tenderness between each other when he sneaks up behind her. I think they have some kind of "competition" for fun sake... flirting etc.

I can only imagine how Shepard and Miranda would have fun. I mean, it's clear Miranda has "refined" tastes. Shepard is... open for debate.
Romance expansion DLC would be ok by me. Miranda, Jack, and Thane all got jipped. I won't comment on Jacob.

Shepard's the muscles and Miranda the brains of the operation? They make a whole?Kick ass duo. haha
I like to think the two of them could contribute to both brain and brawn. Probably more brain for Miranda, opposite for Shepard (Without sounding sexist or going to extremes). Shepard could be a genius, but still an outstanding soldier. We all know how smart Miranda is, and how skilled she is in combat.
Overall, Shepard and Miranda make a great team, regardless of your opinion on them as characters.

Oh indeed. They both can have certain levels of both. They compliment each other well, I should say.

Miranda does the paperwork, Shepard hates it but does it.
He can be a hard ass but also very paragon depending on the issue or need. Hard on the battlefield, and quite lovable in private. Slow to show emotions to the crew but open to very few... loved ones.

They actually handled that part well. Miranda was only be emotional in extreme situations, and kept her guard up when she should have it down.
