It appears you cannot distinguish between "I diagree" and "I'm mad at you". Believe me, if I was mad at you, you'd know it. And it's still untrue. I have complained about the ending in several threads, it's just different aspects of them than the final choice as such, and I'm not the only one by far, so it is definitely false that everyone complaining about the endings wants completely new ones.o Ventus wrote...

Untrue. I like the final choice as such and have said so from the start. It's the insufficiently explained rationale for it, the nonsense in the Synthesis description and some of the consequences of the choice (destroyed relays in all endings, destroyed closure as one side effect, plot holes created by the stranded Normandy etc.) I take issue with.o Ventus wrote...

Exactly, though I doubt anyone really cares if it isn't realistically possible.
I certainly don't. They're bothering with free glorified extended cutscenes and mutliplayer DLC.
Even though *everyone* complaining about the endings want entirely new ones.
As for "not realistically possible", people always use their imagination to fill gaps like this. That's how it's supposed to be. We did that when speculating about Miranda in ME2, interpreting what she says and what we're told about her in different ways according to our own preferences. As long as it's not outright contradictory and it is emotionally satisfying, few people will complain.
Did you read what I wrote? I said "everyone *complaining* about the endings (See: Everyone who dislikes the endings) wants new ones (I have yet to meet one who doesn't)". If you like them, then that doesn't apply to you. Don't reply to me if you're going to get mad at me for nothing.
Nice try, troll. But can we take this to a thread where it is on-topic?Oh, and Destroy > Control.
First you say you like the ending (I assume that's what you meant) -- "I like the final choice", then you say you complain about it. Which is it?
How dare I prefer a different ending to what you perceive as the "perfect" one. I would prefer the discussion just drop, and for you to stop starting them.

Yes, I've been thinking about gifts for Miranda often, and it's hard to come up with something. Perhaps a recording of Nielsen's fifth symphony conducted by someone famous. But that's about all I can think of. We have also speculated she likes chocolate, but that's not canon.o Ventus wrote...
Since you mentioned flowers, I could actually see Miranda accepting them as a gift, though it would be awkward. Come to think of it, I think gifts in general would be awkward, at least for a short while.

The endings consist of several things. There's the Catalyst scene as such, there's the three options you can choose from, there's the side effects of the choice (as opposed to the main effect), there's the Normandy scene and the stargazer epilogue. I have no problem with having the choice between controllikng the Reapers, destroying them and merging organic and synthetic life. I have a problem with the given rationale for the choice, the nonsensical description of the Synthesis, the forced desctruction of the relays, the forced relocation of the Normandy to a remote planet, the general Garden Eden symbolism of that scene and the lack of closure and clarity.o Ventus wrote...

How is that "not complaining about the endings"?

Sorry for posting without your approval, Mr. Would-Be-Censor. And I talked about reactions to the ending in general, in response to your post, not about preferences for the final choice. Don't want others' opinions? Don't post yours. It's as easy as that.o Ventus wrote...

There is that..... But I have her in mind as she was in ME2. That woman is still under there somewhere. I have to believe it.Totally Not Swaggacide wrote...

I do much prefer her in ME2. I'm not much of a fan of her romance in ME3. I was having a tough time choosing between her and Ashley; but I honestly prefer Ashley now and not just because of what happened to Miranda.

She calls Shepard by his surname because it would be hell programming in every single combination of letters and recording it for a first name.

You say you prefer Ashley now in matter of fact Ashley is in love with the Commander and not with Shepard. Miranda is quite the contrary, thats why I prefer Miranda much better
What you said makes no sense. I like Ashley and I'm sticking with it it's not temporary

Indeed, it feels a bit akward she still calls Shepard "Shepard" if romanced but well he has no defined name. I wouldn't be against a canon name (John) though.
Shepard suffers from the same problem as Mario. His first name is the same as his last name.
In all seriousness, I've grown to calling Shepard "Shepard", even when I have a first name for him. I guess it's a nickname, like James with "Loco".
