In other news, don't know if this has been touched on before, but does Miranda actually have a doctorate? Her involvement in Lazarus obviously implies medical knowledge but there's never any reference of that.

Perhaps we should request that the author allow us to sue it in the book?

She certainly has enough knowledge to override the chief medical tech's (Wilson's) advice at Lazarus station and know what she's doing. Whether that knowledge has ever been formalized is anyone's guess. The backstory I imagined for her had her study on Illium sponsored by Cerberus, but in the end, it only matters that she has the knowledge.CrutchCricket wrote...

Here's the scenario I'm envisioning. Shepard is having problems that may be related to Lazarus and his implants. I'm just wondering whether it would be appropriate for her to refer to herself as "his doctor" even semi-jokingly in this context.Ieldra2 wrote...

Hmm...possibly. IIRC only in ME3 the Normandy's doctor refers to checking Shepard's implants, but Miranda's not there. I wouldn't mind if it came up in a story, she has enough knowledge of Shepard's body to put most doctors to shame.CrutchCricket wrote...

Yeah, would be cool.
Once I have the physical book ready to go, especially, we can solicit some contibutions like that.
I'm a little limited due to my work schedule this week, but plan on visiting a print shop soon to work out some details.

What's cool about it is Leng likes to fight up close, but Miranda must have risked that in order to plant the tracer.
That's pretty cool, very Miranda-like, and a course of action that doesn't seem to have occured to anyone else.
The implementation really saps this encounter of the awesomeness that it should have had, though. Largely because we do not see it, of course. The fact that it changes nothing also doesn't help.

I just got a stroke of creativity and wrote up some Shepard/Miranda dialogue that I might contribute to the book.
Very cool, looking forward to reading it

With a really bad wedgie?
Epic battle of the century. Miranda's butt vs. Kai Leng's crotch plate.
