The Normandy seems dead in ME3, with the huge squad in ME2 I got sort of a Firefly vibe and could picture everything that was going on, the ship had a life to her.
Yeah, even with all the squaddies moving around it wasn't the same...and there's no one in Life Support
I think I've played ME2 more times than any other game in the series so I'm biased

Yeah, and for Miranda ? Nothing.
She doesn't need to grunt during combat
You can always show her sniping or using her biotics...no lines needed for that
The line: "Hope you don't mind me crashing this little party of yours" sounds more like it would have been said while she was there (Perhaps she arrives slightly later than Shep does) than via vidcom...perhaps that was the intention before they decided to sideline the cast like that?

I don't know how many times I said "I miss my ME2 crew".

it totally makes you give up on just walk through the normandy.
no don't you guys go on telling that this was made to fit the 'dark' tone in the game. I'm so sick and tired of this.

Actually, I think Miranda should've been more Cerberus-focused right from the start and Oriana should've been something that came up later to explain why she had to do things *now* instead of waiting for Shepard to help. Oriana as the primary hook of her story arc is not fine.Yannkee wrote...
No Miranda has absolutely not enough screentime. What we've got is fine, the problem it's what is missing.
Miranda should have been a temporary squadmate, she should be with Shepard fighting Cerberus and during the final battle.
As for the amount of content, it's lacking, but it's still way more than the other ME2 team members have. Compared to her potential, it's hopelessly inadequate, but it would've taken a lot to make it good - just add her to TIM's base.

Romance-wise, nothing is worse than Jacob in ME3. I feel sorry for all fem sheps out there who romanced him.

Oddly enough none of my friends like Liara. They just say, "She's blue and hawt!" Pity.
And if those are the only reason why people "love" Liara so damn much, then I wonder: Is there know other specific reason? If not, then I rest my case: It's nothing more than some type of fetish on Alien Women, especially those with a Primary Colored Skin, like Blue.
We have MANY MANY Reason why we Love Miri. She is NOT ONLY Gorgeous, and Sexy with a Sexy Accent, but she is ALSO a Smart Woman, a Bad-Ass, a Wonderful Marskman, a Powerful Biotic, a Beautifully Well Driven and Fleshed Out Character, ETC.
I'm surprised that I have not really seen a Liaramancers say the same thing.
IMHO, Miranda is MORE THAN what Liara will EVER be!
Most of the time in ME3, when I see Liara in "her" office, I say to myself, "Get out of her Office! This is not yours to take. Go back to the damn Shadow Broker Base!"

The confrontation does suck, but the most important thing would be character-growth as a result of it. That could be shown via later dialogues and events, theoretically. Of course I agree as to your larger point.
