Personally there are only two solutions :

"Miranda, the captain quarters is your quarters"
or
"Liara find an another place, and don't forget to take all your stuff !"

A reunion scene for the Miranda&Shepard alive ending, maybe ?
I'm not the only one who wish to see this ?

You're right, that would be good. I'll edit the post to add that detail as soon as I have a moment, then repost it.

Thanks.

And for all we know, she just wears one.

Here's a discussion topic: pretend Miranda had joined you during that first conversation. How does she get along with the rest of your squad? Where would she stay--and no, the captain's quarters is not a valid answer.

Why not? It's the most fun.

I think Garrus, Liara and Javik will trust her, but the rest of the crew will be suspicous about her. And a place to stay, in her room and good bye to Liara. Liara will be more valuable with the crucible team (Miss prothean expert) and let Miranda handle the SB network (20 years working as an operative).

Looking back on the love scene, what if Miranda asked for access to Alliance resources before the Cerberus Coup? C-Sec has no idea of how Kai Leng's force could get onto the station, and Shepard just so happened to give the second-in-command (her resigning might not be widely known) resources that could have been used in the attack.

The room that was Thane's in ME2 would be perfect for her.

And I think she would get along fine with most team members after what she did at Sanctuary. No more questions about her loyalty, except perhaps from Ashley or Kaidan. There would be a personality clash with Ashley, but that's about it. She'd be very interested in talking with Javik.

I believe you missed the part where she said: "joined you during that first conversation" meaning the very first one you have with her in ME3 ;)

Ah.....yeah, i missed that. More about the team tomorrow then. I stand by my quarters recommendation though. Displacing Liara is not a plausible option with all that hardware installed. Only she should get her own bed out of her old room.

If we weren't in a relationship, she would get the Life Support room. I would not remove Liara, that's just ridiculous. She essentially is the #2 of this current operation and she needs the space for her Shadow Brokering. Also, weren't the Port and Starboard rooms turned into lounges of some sort? I'm sure those rooms could be re-converted to sleeping quarters.

If we were in a reltionship, she'd get the Life support room but there would be points in the game story where she'd be in the Captain's quarters......just saying....

I think Garrus and Tali would be alrite. Not overjoyed but ok with having an extra gun, simple as that. I think Ashley or Kaiden would need some time. I think Liara would be sarcastic as usual.....the Alliance crew? Couldn't care less, their job is to keep the ship running. Gabby and Ken wouldn't care. EDI would be cool to the idea but offer the logic behind more help. Officer Traynor would wonder "is this who EDI was modeled after?"

Yes as much as I was frustrated that Liara just shoved Miranda's things away like a possesive new girlfriend, I think it's better that Liara stays there so that Miranda can spend some time with Shepard :o

That would've been really smart and would've helped play up the 'femme fatale' aspect. As it stands, there was no real reason not to trust her with the resources.

If I sounded like I was bashing Liara, I wasn't I swear! ;) I kind of find it hot afterwards that Liara was being all possesive of Shepard since I romanced her as well (in my interpretation). It's sad how I'm one of the few who defends Miranda in the Liara thread :(

Othen than the fact that I like Liara too, even if Miranda is my favourite female character in the IP.
About your question, I think the Life Support should be fine. I think she'd be have been alright with Garrus, EDI and Liara. Tali in a middle ground between those three and VS (with Ashely being more aggressive towards her). Don't know about Vega and Javik.

That suggested it was a possibility. Just inviting discussion.

That's completely separate from omni-tools. Those implants just detect where your fingers are relative to the holographic "keys" and when you've "pressed" one. They're used for all holo interfaces not just omni-tools. Omni-tool devices themselves are worn on the arm.

I really dislike the idea of omni-tools being handheld as they're described in the books and wiki, especially if they're supposed to have combat uses.  I simply cannot imagine having to dig around in one's pocket when you want to perform a heavy melee attack, or two pockets in the case of the Sentinel's heavy melee.  I prefer the idea that it's implanted into the forearm so that it's always with you at all times.

I think the perfect time for Miranda to join the crew is just after the coup.
During the conversation with Kaidan, I would accept him on board only if he accept Miranda as the new XO.

After that, Miranda could use the Normandy ressources to track down her father and rescue her sister. Miranda becomes a squadmate, can go with Shepard on chronos station, and we can have a full romance scene on the Normandy just before the final battle.

I think Vega would flirt once, she'd give him a Look and he'd never do it again. Kaidan...I see a Tali/Garrus style hook up after much bickering. EDI… I think Miranda may be a little prejudiced against synthetics. So polite professionalism, but no friendship. Garrus and Tali would be similar. They don't like each other and never will, but they had put their lives in each other's hands. There's a bond there. Tali and Miranda might even actually bond after Sanctuary.

Yes, but if Miranda refuse and want to have her own place, Liara will have to leave her office immediatly.

I do have one more question for anyone that can answer I see you guys talking
about twitter who should I be following/twittering at?

As for people on Twitter, to name a few...
Casey Hudson: @CaseyDHudson
Mike Gamble: @GambleMike
Mac Walters: @macwalterslives
Patrick Weekes: @PatrickWeekes
Chris Priestly: @BioEvilChris

I guess people might know others too?

Regarding twitter, it seems the priority people to tweet for the moment are Mike Gamble and Patrick Weekes, along with the main Mass Effect twitter:

Mike Gamble: @GambleMike
Patrick Weekes: @PatrickWeekes
Mass Effect: @masseffect

Mike Gamble because he is responsable for DLC content, Patrick Weekes because he's heavily involved with the Extended Cut, and the general address because they have been very responsive to feedback at that address since release.

I'd hope they would take it with a grain of salt. Liara got so much, and others got so little. It really has nothing to do with Liara as a character and everything to do with BioWare.

Favoritism breeds resentment. C'est triste.

That's difficult to answer.  The question is what her role on the ship would be, since that would determine where .  Unfortunately, all we get of her in ME3 is that she's trying to help her sister.  Not much to go on, but that would indicate she'd get the most out of working with Liara with a focus on counter-intelligence.  I could also see her working in the war room, except that no matter how long I hold my breath and stamp my feet, it's still an Alliance ship and she's still an ex-Cerberus operative.

I doubt the Alliance rank and file would care to get along with her - Ash/Kaidan and Vega included.  I also doubt that she'd really give half a damn.  I could see her and Liara being professional, and Garrus might respect her, but other than that...

All things considered, perhaps it's best that she was operating on her own.
