Wait, wait. She was made from the rogue VI on Luna AND from Sovreign parts. I'm pretty sure that counts as Reaper Tech. Perhaps this is more 'artistic integrity'

For my Shepard, it was "Marry me?" right after she shot Wilson.

It was about that time my Shepard felt the same way too, haha.

LoL. It's hilarious how this whole fiasco is quickly changing the meaning of the words "artistic integrity" around here.

The phrase has basically become a synonym for "bullsh*t" now Image IPB

I knew I wanted Miranda after finding out that she was the only face model who did their own voice. That led me to "Chuck" actually....so she just became "real" for me....even if she was genetically engineered for greatness, it was like she was actually out there fighting with me....and I'm not gonna lie, finding out that Jacob was previously involved made me want her more ::guilty::

Funny, mine thought "Well, she certainly knows how to control a situation" And then fell in love with her over time.

There's a difference between "based on" and "made of". What confuses me is that the Crucible is essentially a massive directed energy weapon that hooks into the relay network. I suppose that it could fine tune it's aim by locking on to Reaper IFF signatures across the network. Considering that all modern technology in the ME universe is based off of Reaper tech in some way targeting anything that's based off of it would be overkill.

I just did, part of me3 today in regards to EDI. She says to Shepard that "Not all of me is in the body. She is still in the ship." The body only works when the "beam" is in range. If you've ever watched Star Trek: Voyager with the holographic doctor leaves Voyager on missions with that thing on his arm. I think it seems kind of similar analogy? I guess... Maybe another way to think of it is the indoctrinated Cerberus troops needing that feedback loop to tell them what to do. In this case, EDI functions when the Normandy is nearby???

Someone said, can't remember who... but the relays fizzled out and didn't destroy the systems. Like in Arrival. Hmm... really? Looked like they got blow apart... maybe that's their definition of breaking apart kind of fizzle :)

When Miranda shot Wilson, I knew I'd love Miranda. She has that badass quality. Wanted me to find out more about her.

I'll contribute! When my Shepard saw Miranda shot Wilson this was basically his thought:

Sorry. Don't know how to post images...but yeah. That was his exact thought when he saw Miranda the first time.

EDI's inside her body and the Normandy at the same time. If she's out of communication range of the ship she'll still function, but the processing power of the AI core is inaccessible to her. She's more like Rommie from Andromeda.

As for shooting Wilson, I was more impressed with the Bond one-liner she delivered after she shot him. The only other line that I like better from her outside of the romance is "I'll miss you Niket...(fires pistol)...figuratively speaking.

Ahhh, revisionist history.

Edit:  I can be satisfied with these new facts if they have to do with the over 5000 ems ending where Shepard lives, but not the others.  If they're easily attainable its a bit cheap, and voids the synthesis and control endings of any point.

Kind of random, but I have to say, I absolutely love the freckles that Miranda has on her stomach. Just thought I'd throw that out there...

Indeed she does. How did you not notice them during the romance scene in ME2?

Though I guess you would actually have to look away from her chest to see them...

Yep. And then came the revelation that she was reponsible for defeating death, her dedication to human advancement and her genetic engineering, then her dedication and loyalty to those she cares for.... there isn't anyone else remotely as fascinating.

Destroy and Synthesis: the relays blow up, but only after most of their energy has been expended for the primary function, so they don't create supernova-like explosions.
Control (watch the video, it's different): the relays are damaged but not destroyed. Repair in relatively short order should be possible.

Whatever happens, EDI will lose significant functionality, even if only the Reaper hardware is rendered nonfunctional.

Otherwise crew interactions:
Joker- he cracks a few at her expense and maybe once she dishes it right back. Ultimately Joker knows the score he and Miranda are cool
EDI- would try to make her feel welcome. Miranda would be distrustful at first (particularly if she knows anything about the body she's in) but could grow to trust her over time.
Traynor- would be wary but would warm up to her for her abilities and expertise if nothing else. Traynor also strikes me as the curious type so that might be a big help. Miranda may also give her a run for her money at chess.
Liara- mutual respect. They each know what the other's about. Miranda may make a comment about her old office but it won't be particularly mean-spirited.
Ashley- Yeah there'll be some friction. Maybe even full on arguing (nothing out of hand). Joker may nonetheless remind me to take pictures again.
Garrus-  mutual respect. They've been through the SM together, they know where they stand.
Tali- difficult to say. Probably wariness again. Maybe even resentment regarding the engine room (really wish they would've picked up on that implication). Since they brought up a comparison of daddy issues between them you might get a before and after Sanctuary with the after being the usual drunkedness. Possibly with a more amicable follow up between them.
Javik- some comment on her genetic engineering and origin issues but likely no more interest than he shows in anyone. Miranda would probably be interested in learning more.
Vega- makes some comment about her appearance will come back to bite him either in a reprimand by Shepard or a jab by Miranda. Might also try the nickname thing with a less than thrilled response.

All that sounds very plausible.

I'd still say let her use Thane's old room from a storytelling viewpoint. Not everyone would be interested in romancing her. Better to be able to invite her to the captain's quarter repeatedly like the other LIs. She also needs a task on-board since everyone else has one. Too bad intelligence analysis is already shared between Liara and Samantha, but Mordin's role is vacant - analysis of enemy technology.
