My Shepard's a protective one. My first run I lost Jack's loyalty because of the fight with Miranda, but I loved Jack and brought her along with me not knowing she could die in the end! Oh no!
Hmm, I liked Miranda as second fire team leader. Hearing her voice through the radio... me gusta!
Of course. I rationalize it like this. Shepard and Miranda both know she's an incredibly skilled leader. Hell, that's her job. With her combat skill set and ability to command loyalty through experience, and we're talking someone who's second only to Shepard in leadership. In my opinion, there isn't anyone more suited to the job. Garrus is high up on the list, but Miranda is still #1 choice. It doesn't mean he doesn't worry for her, only that he knows that she knows what she's doing, and that she's good at it.
Oh, and, dat audio effect when she talks via radio comm.

My point about the Cain was humor. Why are people so blind to that? Even then, a Cain 1 hit killed a Destroyer, it probably wouldn't be too much of a stretch to outfit ground forces with them en masse and go to town against Harbinger and his minions.
I did not see the point in speculating about the strength of Karlos when we don't have actual numbers, stating that the current cycle doesn't have a weapon capable of scarring a planet or questioning the power of the quarian ships when compared to, say, a turian fleet. As far as I can tell, the quarians did not have Thanix Cannons.
But yeah, that's basically it. Also, that Hades Cannon could have been a non-sapient construct thus, making it a lot more fragile than an actual Destroyer since it took a lot more of firepower to take out the one guarding the Conduit.

@bold- You seem to forget that the Hades Cannon *is* a Destroyer.
Why would it matter if the quarian fleet is as strong as another? They still have hundreds if not thousands of ships. There's a reason the zerg rush is a valid strategy. Quantity is just as useful as quality, depending on how you handle it.
Kalros, even though the largest maw, is still an overgrown worm. EDI says something to this same effect right after the Shroud mission.
My point still stands, they could have studied the MA cannon that destroyed the derelict Reaper, or the krogan cannons on Tuchanka. IIRC, they blew that Cerberus Cruiser to itty-bitty pieces with a single shot. Hackett says himself, "Cerberus handed us the advantage", they just failed to utilize it.

When Miranda was the fire team leader for the first time in my games, I was so nervous! I whispering under my breath "Don't you dare die on me, damn it!" I was expecting that Jack would say something catty like "It's only because you're sleeping together" when I picked Miranda even after her objections.

It is, without a doubt, weaker than other Destroyers.
Sometimes, the quality is so superior that the quantity does not matter. Evidence, Sovereign taking on two fleets at once. Why would it matter if the quarian fleet is as strong as another? They still have hundreds if not thousands of ships. There's a reason the zerg rush is a valid strategy. Quantity is just as useful as quality, depending on how you handle it.
If the entire quarian fleet combined it is not as strong as a single turian dreadnought...well, you can tell where I'm going with this.
An extremelly powerful worm, it could be capable of breaking a Reaper's plating. And it had the field advantage.Kalros, even though the largest maw, is still an overgrown worm. EDI says something to this same effect right after the Shroud mission.
The Destroyer should have flown.
My point still stands, they could have studied the MA cannon that destroyed the derelict Reaper,
Cerberus found the MA cannon, remember? And they did not want to destroy the Reapers.
The advantage in that system. The cannons are probrably not that strong compared to a dreadnought.or the krogan cannons on Tuchanka. IIRC, they blew that Cerberus Cruiser to itty-bitty pieces with a single shot. Hackett says himself, "Cerberus handed us the advantage", they just failed to utilize it.

2. Sovereign was battling the Citadel fleet and the 5th fleet, not the entire human armada. Both of those fleets were also engaged with the geth. Not a good example.
3. Except you never see it do anything. It just tackles the Destroyer and buries it. If that Destroyer wasn't brain-dead, it'd have been flying from the start. Hell, all it had to do was destroy the Shroud, since the Shroud was the only thing keeping Tuchanka's atmosphere in check. No atmoshpere = dead krogan.
4. Yeah, except this was before TIM went bat-**** insane indoctrinated.
5. That doesn't, in any way mean they can't be scaled down or updated to be fitted on dreadnaughts. They took Sovereign's gun, scaled it down, and put it on a frigate, after all.

And yes, everything is "Dat X" worthy. I was hoping to start that as a running gag.
