If it's the 2nd option I see no reason why the N7 program wouldn't have a science division. Modernsay CIA and SEAL units in the USA have both.

I think it'd be pretty cool if Shepard and Miranda both survived and found each other and had a happy ending together. Then, Shepard becomes one of the N7's leaders and Miranda becomes the leader of the new-look Cerberus. Then the two combine their organizations together and work as one. Thus the human STG is born.

Miranda joining the Alliance under the right circumstances has never been a problem, as I see it. Humanity's STG could theoretically be an Alliance organisation. It seems that Miranda is more interested in the goals and the work than the name and the command structure.

Miranda is a reasonable person. I could easily see her deciding, "Yes, red tape sucks, but we need to make sure what happened with Cerberus under TIM doesn't happen again."

Something independant could also be good, though. I'm not opposed to that either.

What bothers me is the absence of purpose that we are left with in ME3.

Eh, give me a quiet life for Shepard. I actually have trouble imagining him as alive post-ME3. He is for war. And not just any war: the man was exact;y suited to defend against techno-gods. But it makes it very difficult to imagine him in peacetime, except as a symbol. But this is where Miranda will shine as an administrator and scientist.

@flemm: I agree with you. Just personal preference from an Alliance-hater.

I'd keep Overload

Cryo Blast would be more for thematic reasons, but I agree it's not the most useful ability.

Miranda refers to her marksmanship at one point, so I also like the idea of an ability that reflects that somehow.

Damn, 54 pictures for Thane. If only I had artistic integrity talent, then I would definitely try to make some art. I could always work on a letter in my spare time though, I'm a hell of a writer. Where would I post the letter?

You would email it to masseffectlia@gmail.com . Get to it ! We wanted there to be a lot more pics/screenshots/fanart this time around, but we've combed through deviant art and we could definitely use more letters!

I'd like to contribute to that project, Visii, but I was more about her role in general rather than just romance stuff. Not sure what I'd write.

Yeah/ So, I could see her with:
- Warp
- Overload
- Slam
- Marksman
- 'Fancy Genetics'. Works like Cerberus Officer but with the squad bonuses gone for nerfing's sake and also because of not Cerberus anymore.


On the STG thing, and going back to the discussions over how Hackett would view Miranda, I could see him accepting the idea. I mean, he did have to oversee the Crucible stuff, and he's a military man.

@_@ Yeah, that's just the way it's turning out. We're trying to get more art and letters for everyone else, trying to advertise the project everywhere.

Her passive's name needs to reflect who she is in the story. Since Cerberus isnt really part of her story it needs to be something like "Oriana's sister" -__- Ok i had a clear agenda with this remark

Well, I guess if I could lend some advice, you don't have to be a story writer. I don't write stories. When I say I'm a hell of a writer, I write articles (Sports specifically)
It's just a matter of getting your ideas across.

In our case, it would be pouring our hearts about Miranda and wanting a better role from her. You could do it!
