First conversation with Ashley on the Citadel. Well, not the first, but the first where she's awake. Select the upper option like you want to repair things with her. She answers with the line about swimsuits and being a real person. Then use the lower options after that.Prudii Aden wrote...

You can answer that way: "You walked away on Horizon, not I. You don't get to be angry about this". It's a bit short, but it works as far as I'm concerns. Then end the conversation with "I should go". Feels very natural, unforgiving but not too rude.Attila 6 wrote...
I just watched the scene: Ashley mentions Miranda. I wear armor in to battle not swimwear, I`m a real person with flaws and all: answer for that " what makes you think that I choose her because she wears different clothes, second part: did you met with her?, did you talked with her?, do you know anything about her childhood? The main thing is she trusted me better than you.
Where and when do you get this scene?
"I'll always want you in my life." Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 3

Ahh, that'd be why I never saw it - I shut her down/took the "I don't know" option.

I figure Ashley questioning my loyalties all the way through Mars did nothing to repair the damage of Horizon but Shepard's default reactions to her injuries is still caring concern so I'm thinking he doesn't hold it against her much and knows why she would say it. He can remain friends and maybe even talk about the relationship. Of course that last bit ultimately doesn't go in Ashley's favor for obvious reasons. So "I don't know" is genuine because both paths are realistically open to him.

You mean the default blue suit? I think it looks good/appropriate for non-combat situations. Even in combat, it goes more the Liara route of is it armor/is it a suit- type thing? And of couse she has normal armor and that's what she uses on Mars.Asakawa wrote...
............. yet, Ashley's new gear in ME3 sure looks more like a swimsuit than armored gear Miranda in appearance pack ME2....

Nah Miranda's record of catsuit exploits is challenged only by the Core/EDI body and that's a robot lol.
Actually come to think of it the question of Miranda's choice of combat attire is something she had to have fielded before. Both times a character mentiones it ingame she either isn't there or doesn't respond. But how do you think she would justify it if she did respond?

Miranda sure looks more like a type of silent agent. A heavy armor would never suit her.
She's very confident about her skills and tactics, and I think her answer would be based on that. The fact that she keeps wearing the same type of uniform even without the Cerberus logo on it makes me wonder if she designed the uniform herself. As for the other symbols, I really think of it as a brand. Like a Nike suit has the swoosh, that would be the manufacture's logo or something.

Also Ashley has no room to talk about Miranda's woredrobe as her secondary outfit is a skirt.

Well with Kasumi she's got that front section that looks like it might be more protective so I'm willing to say it's more along the lines of a sneaking suit. Besides being a thief she doesn't expect to get in combat as much. Miranda's on the other hand is clearly just some type of fabric even if its super tear resistant "space fabric".Asakawa wrote...

And I wish we'd get more hints at her being a covert agent. We all think it makes sense but in game she's not particularly stealthy, and is not referenced as doing anything stealthy.
Interesting thought about the uniform design. I was actually musing that it might be the opposite (given the Core/EDI body) and maybe TIM's just an old dirty bastard. But neither interpretation fits ME3. If Miranda designed it why did TIM have the robot wear it, and if TIM designed it, why is Miranda still wearing it?

As for the uniform being hers, EDI wears the same uniform but with the Alliance logo on it. Maybe she took the idea from seeing Miranda in action and built the suit for her like that.
When I first saw EDI wearing those I was like: "....... it's a homage, right? ...... or did they really design the uniform for Miranda and decided to swich up in the last minute........ I'd......... I'd better not think about it. Let's go for MPing."
Anyway, ME3 is all about having more questions than ever before and leaving no answers at all.

Anyway in regards to the Miranda fan comic, I guess we want to get going on it. Perhaps those who want to be involved can head over to the wordpress thing or the discussion in the fangroup and we can start cranking out the narrative direction? Aliqaser wants to get started on it and I have to admit I'm pretty pumped as well.

As for Ash, I get the sinking feeling that they just wanted to fulfill their "sexy female" quotient and they figured most wouldn't care who. I usually save Kaidan, but my one Ash game was painful.

Well the thing is that body was wearing a similar catsuit on Mars as well when it was just a kill(sex?)bot in TIM's service.

Well they might've thought this way but Ash's redesign was quite a bit more modest than Miranda's presentation. I think they learned restraint lol.jtav wrote...

Dangit. My FShep who I'll pair with Samantha happens to be my Renegon one, who killed the Rachni Queen... Maybe I'll have my other FShep ditch Liara and hook up with her too.Ieldra2 wrote...
Indeed. Traynor's line about finding out how the Rachni communicate instantly might as well have come from Miranda.jtav wrote...
Two brilliant, introverted women. I think they'd get on famously if they got past each other's shells.
Anyway, as to my favorite scene involving Miranda, it's the one on Zorya (Zaeed's LM) where she leans over the railing with the waterfall behind her. It's not even close.
Now if I could just settle on whether to be a Soldier or Sentinel. I was going crazy yesterday trying to figure out which one to stick with.

Go watch the 3 clips of an alternate ending a fan made. You won't regret it. It's cheesy in some areas, but by god, it's actually viable. And it makes having a LI totally worth it. The reiteration of the promise between Miranda and Shepard almost made me tear.
