I think you'd be pretty good at an illustrated novel, Asakawa. It probably means a lighter workload while allowing time to work on more complex pieces.

I'd actually be in favour of that as a contrast to the normal comic book style. If my thing were written already (and wasn't becoming monumentally huge. Oops...) I would think it'd be cool to see some images matched to the words.

No way, dude! 'I Was Lost Without You' is absolutely beautiful in that regard, and the pared-down piano version for that scene with Miranda was perfect.

But its not a theme unique to her, every romance has that theme.

wow that's a nice pic of Miranda OP. she looks sooo real! I was disappointed that she didn't got a role in ME3! I made her cried because I chose Liara instead of her which I felt real bad.

As far as I know, while the 'theme/melody' is not unique, that version I linked is unique to her.
Regardless, I think either matches the emotions quite well. And the alternative is a theme for Sherlock, so not exclusive there either.

Each to their own though. Wasn't knocking your suggestion; I just love that ME3 music.

OK, so I finished chapter four of my Miranda 'The Space That Separates' story.

I'm not entirely happy with it right now, though. It covers three different periods of time and is mostly thought, so I'm not sure how interesting it is to read. I might try and mix some form of action in, but it eludes me right now.

You also get some 'fragments' of chapter five but I'm a bit burned out at the moment to do any more.

As always, I welcome any feedback!

All I can say is very good job. I can't wait for Miranda and Shepard's meeting! I thought it was cool how you had Miranda see the Normandy so she knew Shepard was okay.

Holly hell lots of stuff going on. the letter for the miri bokk, the one for visii... I trully wish i could help with the comic but i suck at writing and i can only draw landscapes :/

Hehe, unfortunately, the game sort of contradicts that. Since she emails him about meeting on the Citadel, she must have already known he was alright. That's a very nice idea though and probably would've worked well in-game; that she'd looked out for where the Normandy was and waited there for him. Obviously the game needs to give you an email to say 'go here' though.

The nice thing about that first meeting is you can see she's staring out at the ships (which I think I included in chapter one) and the Normandy is right there in view as well.

If I have my way and I think I will lol Asakawa will do the human drawings but we needed someone for backgrounds. Backgrounds = landscape = how would you like a job? It pays nothing it will take up a nice part of your free time and it will be I honor of the amazing Ms Miranda Lawson

I speak solely for myself in regards to the "new beginnings" project. I don't have final say clutch would have to agree. And this has Nothing to do with the trilogy.

I've always been a comic fan all my life (so that now I'm in some sort of identity crisis because i always loved Marvel over DC and now it's exactly the opposite, hahah!) . I guess that's why I started drawing, even if that's for a hobby. But I know myself, and I'm afraid that I might blow the dead lines, since I take like days on a single drawing, even if just for the sketch. That's the truth to be told, I'm afraid of screwing up things due to my lack of speed.
As for working with 'layers', and each one doing a part of the process, it must be very well coordinated, as who will do what. I'd really like to do the pencils, but I know where I stand. We could switch tasks for each part of the project? for example, sanctuary one is the penciler, for the end-game another one, and so on?
