I like the one in the middle, with the SR-2 hat. And I demand to have a source.

You don't get to make demands of...well, me, LuxDragon!

Ok, just this once.

Promised teaser:

Miranda followed Oriana's gaze. Shepard face was plastered over the café’s vid-screen. The volume was too low to make out what being said, but he did indeed look worse for wear. His skin was ashen, and there were shadows like bruises beneath his eyes. His dress blues were immaculate, and his hair perfectly combed, but there was something unmistakably wrong as she watched him shuffle towards the courthouse. There was no ready smile for the reporters today, as there had been for al-Jilani, His gaze was focused straight ahead, and his steps slow and deliberate. A broken man, or at least a battered one.

A grim pleasure welled within Miranda. She knew, as everyone did, that Shepard had destroyed an entire star system. Unlike most, she was inclined to believe him when he said he had done it to stop a Reaper invasion. The golden boy at last had innocent blood on his hands. Where's your moral superiority now?

Oriana misread the look on her face. "Must be rough seeing him like this. You never told me why you left him. I always figured he was your type. The dashing commander and his brilliant first officer."

"You watch too many vids. It was never like that." Shepard had only ever had eyes for Tali’Zorah, and Miranda had never wanted him as a lover. Their relationship was to have been far more intimate. She had been grief-stricken and enraged when she received the test results from Greenway’s office. She had wanted children desperately, but it was more than that. Her infertility was an insult, a validation of those idiots who had called her unnatural and not quite human. The Lazarus Project had been a gift from Fate. If she could not create life in one way, she would do it in another. She would do what humanity had been dreaming of for millennia.

She had taken a lump of matter and turned it back into a human being. She had given him muscles, senses, his very thoughts. She had reconstructed his memories, good and bad, and restored them to him. Shepard was her creation, even if she had only been following a template laid down years ago. No, Shepard would never be her lover. He was her son, birthed on an operating table over the course of two years. She had given him life, and he had spit in her face because she had installed a killswitch she had never used. It hadn’t mattered that she never used it, that she had resigned from Cerberus rather than destroy her creation. He’d still thrown her off the ship. He’d still threatened to kill her. She’d thrown every gift she’d given him, every sacrifice she’d made back at her.

Miranda was beginning to understand her father.

Which story is this? It looks like a typical talifanatic's fanfic from Miranda's POV. And of course, there'll be the obligatory 'lovey smoochy' talk between Shepard and tali and there'll be idol worship and smexing...urk.Posted Image

Fortunately, it only looks like a talimance fic. Whew.Posted Image

Seeing as Miranda is almost impossible to kill off in ME2, and that Bioware has been so tightlipped, i figure they got something major in store for her in ME3. For all we know since the game doesnt have to be designed to continue into another sequel Bioware may have used the extra time and space creating alternate plots for ME2 survivors. She was a top Cerberus operative afterall, which means theres gotta be something we can do with her since Cerberus will be gunning for us for some craziness of reasons.

To be honest, the dossier on Miranda where she's infertile was more likely than not faulty intel. Firstly, why in hell did Miranda go to a gynaecologist on ILLIUM, which is an asari planet, NOT a human one, to get tested? Secondly, why didn't Miri just get checked out by Cerberus? I'm pretty sure they've got a comprehensive healthcare package, and medicals are required.

But then again, it could have been false on purpose. Miranda's father may have bribed the doctor to mislead Miranda in the hope that she would come back to him begging for the cure. Fat chance of that.

Ah hell, I just ignore the dossier. It's quite badly written, and it's hard to tell when they're trying to be funny, and when they're trying to kill a fanbase so that another fanbase rejoices over the misery of the 'betrayed' fanbase. You know which ones I'm talking about.

If Miranda or EDI or the original team didn't foward any intel on the Reaper's IFF, the Normandy should be the only ship capable of travelling through the Omega 4 Relay.

Just want to interject on this and mention that in the comic they state Cerberus establishes a base beyond the Omega-4 relay after the events of the SM.

I'm thinking Cerberus got data from the team on that derelict mission on the IFF and found a way to get past the relay whether or not you kept/destroyed the base.

Why so complicated? EDI has the IFF data. You can't seriously believe that TIM hasn't got spy programs installed, possibly even with a secret QE link. I say as soon as EDI debugged the IFF TIM got it as well.
