Yes, she did have the "best" out of the me 2 characters but that is not really saying much. Lots of balls were dropped with Miranda, as well as Thane, Jacob, Jack. It is just that the lack of Cerberus arc for Miranda is just baffling. It is almost like you have to intentionally blunder like that...kind of like the ending. Conventional wisdom says that Mordin and Wrex gets involved in Genophage, Tali and Legion get involved in Rannoch, Miranda and Jack (or Jacob) should have been involved in Cerberus take down.
You would think.
Apparently though, Bioware didn't. At least Miranda makes a reference to Cerberus, I don't believe Jacob does.

(if you're running from Cerberus assassins, where is safer than on the Normandy with Shepard?
Exactly my thoughts. It isn't like Cerberus just sort of knows where Shepard and the Normandy are, so they can't really track her down. Plus, since Miranda is looking for Oriana, she could always chat up Liara for fresh intel.
Plus, it's way easier to headcannon a happy ending with Miranda since she and shep are both still alive and on Earth(citidel?) in my playthrough (if EC changes that, I will be so angry).
I actually have an in-progress story that I'm working on. Check my signature and click on Salvation. Take a look at it if you're interested in that sort of thing.

None. I've completed ME1 about 15 times maybe (I've not even had it a year yet), ME2 6 or 7 times so far (between the PS3 and 360) and ME3 once.Skullheart wrote...
btw, off-topic: What other games have you finished as many times as ME1/ME2?
In my case they are: KOTOR, MGS3, Ace Combat 5, Tales of the Abyss, Chrono Trigger and many others, but naming 5 it's fine for now.

I'm quite content with ME2 on its own actually...
And while I'm not particularly fond of Liara, we can do more productive things than slag off the character and writers, come on!

Wait OK there is the LI letters which had to be "from" Shepard. I did one of those. But there's a fanbook to? What is that?Ieldra2 wrote...
I had submitted something, but I overlooked that it was too long. I have to shorten it before submitting. Putting my take on Miranda's romance from a rp perspective onto one page won't be easy. Perhaps I'll submit the longer version for the fanbook.kookie28 wrote...
Btw Ieldra2, I didn't see your name on the LIA letter contributors list. Are you still writing one?
I did ME1 - 4x. . ME2-x5 . ME3 - 2x . The closest I have come to that is HaloC-E 5x and Halo3 - 4Skullheart wrote...

@hot_heart I actually like Liara as a character she just gets waaay to much attentions.
Also call me a liar but the first thing I looked at in that pic is Miranda's face. Her expression there I find very intriguing.

The lack of Miranda is unbearable. I feel so emotionally disconnected to almost everyone on the Normandy.
Yeah, it really sucks. Not having Miranda around especially.

But I am in the middle of my second playthrough of Mass Effect 1. Plan to go through the series again. First run was Paragon, second is Renegade.
But I'll wait for the Extended Cut before I start my Renegade ME3 playthrough. I want to complete ME3 with my main-canon Para Shep.

I think that would be a great idea

And I have a question. For the Miranda project, can I just email Visii a bunch of links to screenshots? How does that work?
Well, Visii is accepting screenshots of Shepard + Love Interest for the joint Tribute that has a deadline of 4-25. She has posted an email address for submissions in the OP of that thread.
For the Miranda fan book, you can post your screenshots here in the thread, or in the group for that project. One of the things I'd like to do over the next week or so is collect a bunch of everyone's favorite screenshots for the Miranda book.
So, you can start early
For our Miranda-specfic project, the screenshots do not have to be romance-related (though they can be).

So basically I can just send links of ShepardxMiranda screenshots to Visii? That'd be easy.

There's a screenshot for your project, Flemm. As well as for the site to enjoy.

Yes, one of the things they have been collecting for this Tribute is screenshots of Shepard with the Love Interest in question. So, you should be able to send her the images.

How's the book group doing? Miranda seems to be doing fine in the LIA Project. I wish I were good in writing so I could contrbute to both.
Well, we have quite a lot of stuff collected already, and we haven't even really started a big push for submissions yet. So, I think it's going to be great.
I feel like doing these projects all at exactly the same time might be a little counter-productive, so I expect we will really start finalizing the Miranda book in May. Between now and then I'd like to collect some screenshots, which is something we haven't done at all yet.

Cool. Care to say why you choose it, or add a caption? ;-)
To add a little depth to the screenshot submissions, I'd like there to be a line or two saying why you chose that particular image. Or, as an alternative, a caption (humorous or otherwise).

I'm still so angry about the Miranda and Thane fiasco in ME3 that I think my letter for the Miranda book group was a bit agressive. But at least now the devs can't argue that Miranda has huge fan base.

@Flemm I can help greatly with screenshots. Want them here or in the group?
Well, since the images are nice to see in the thread anyway, why not post them here?
I will probably end up collecting them in the group, just for convenience, but I can do that later.
Babi_Siha wrote...
Hopefully now we can finally make some noise and be heard, though I don't really think BioWare cares about its fans enough to change their plans.
I'm not too worried about that. I think the book will be a fun thing to do, and something that we will enjoy having done.
If it helps with actual content, then that's even better of course

Funny how the Rannoch and Tuchanka missions also featured characters on opposing sides of the issue at hand. Not only is Miranda detached from the Cerberus arch, they don't even resolve the other post-loyalty mission altercation between Jack and Miranda smh.....did they think that simply having Miranda and Jack on bases owned or attacked by Cerberus that we wouldn't notice? I can imagine if we asked Casey or Mac or that dude Gamble, they would say "Miranda was involved with Cerberus in ME-3, she attacked Sanctuary".....smh....cbutz wrote...

The only thing is.....I remember plenty of pages on BSN where most fans agreed that "Miranda shouldn't 'follow' Shepard, she needs to do her 'own thing'" You think they took that to heart and said "ok, let's pretend Miranda didn't work for TiM? Let's pretend Miranda didn't elude to wanting a similar organization like the STG?"

I agree on that completely. Priority: Earth was underwhelming. The Suicide Mission was anything but. It's a bit too easy to get everyone through alive, but that's okay with me.
