So Miranda's ass just retweeted and favorited some of my tweets. Should I be honored? :o

Her ass tweets?

@dtrain

Yeah, she does. She liked Miranda until now. lmao

Yes, I couldn't believe it at first.

I don't live there but I would think Brazil would be jealous.

It's more natural. I'm brazillian and a lot of girls (not me) spend their whole work outs on thighs and butts. If you get curious just type Aryane Steinkopf or Juju Panicat on google images and you'll have an idea.

Hey guys,
If Miranda is dead in my import how will it effect ME3?
(btw, Miranda is alive in my games. The question is for a friend)

Very little, unfortunately.
Because she is not there to plant a tracer on Kai Leng, Cerberus will know beforehand about the attack on Cronos Station and the Fifth Fleet will take greater losses.

You must have had a non-loyal squadmate somewhere, cuz the math works out that your average would be 2, so a loyal Mordin would live...unless you're dividing by the total number of teammates and not the number of teammates left..... who knows....

Mm...  I think this was back when I didn't have Zaeed.  I think without Zaeed (loyal or no) that would have put me under.

@ Flemm

It could be worse. We've had discussions in the materials science department of my school where we guessed at what the catsuit was made of, and how the heck it would be bullet-resistant.

I see. Still better than other ME2 squad mates aside from Tali and Garrus.

Are you sure about that? I thought this was a rumor. Can't check this myself, since I don't have games where Miranda dies at the CB.

You have four "squishies" that must be protected: Kasumi, Mordin, Jack and Tali (everyone else can protect themselves if loyal). Every one of the three "heavy hitters" - Grunt, Zaeed, Garrus - can protect two of them if everyone is loyal. That means with everyone alive at the start of the final fight, without Zaeed and Grunt on the squad, two are left unprotected and Mordin will die. If you don't have Kasumi either, there's still one point less than necessary and Mordin will die.

Flemm, what is that decision that makes Jack dead in non-imports?

It's not really a decision, there are just some characters who are dead by default in non-imported games. Wrex, Grunt, Jack, Thane and Legion, to name a few.

Miranda is alive in non-imports, but seemingly cannot survive. (Except some people have said that she has and does, just not enough for me to be confident it is true. Of course, most people around here play imported games.)

Anyway, if we are to include "imported game" as a survival condition for Miranda, it seems fair to note that many other characters are not even alive in that scenario.

The way NG+ is structured, I don't think I'll ever play non-import smh......I know EA is all about $$$$$ but how can their higher-ups not see that their values hurt the values that make Bioware so good at what they usually do? They're business stratergy literally is NOT compatible with story-driven adventure/shooters......these statements we're making about ME-3, "this content isn't available if you don't import", we shouldn't be making those statements smh......

I think the problem is there may be conflicting viewpoints here:

(1) Bioware may see this setup as an incentive to play the other games, for in spite of the marketing talk of ME3 being the best place to start, I cannot imagine they'd think playing ME3 without the other games makes for a well-rounded experience of Shepard's story. From that viewpoint, I support the decision to make the setup for the default game non-optimal.

(2) On the other hand, for a fan looking at the default setup, having characters dead seems like a statement that they're inconsequential for the full experience of ME3, especially considering the marketing campaign was targeted at new players. Which may be true in some cases but that's even more insulting, because if it is that way it is because they were written as being inconsequential. From that viewpoint, having ME2/ME1 characters dead in non-imported games seems like adding insult to injury.

I saw this posted somewhere, but do you think that her survival may also depend on how long you wait to go to sanctuary? Ive always gone right away, but maybe if you do 1 or 2 missions before, she might die despite doing everything to save her. Just a thought. Doubt it. But might try it.

I don't know if there is a mission limit. But I do know that if you start Thessia with no side missions not yet done, and do the single side mission which becomes available after Thessia before going to Sanctuary (N7: Communications Hub), you won't have problems with Miranda's survival. It's a long habit of mine to always do all side missions before the next main plot mission, and that worked perfectly in ME3. I don't think scan-and-fetch tasks count.

That "dont skip any of the meetings" part isn't true. In my first playthru, I missed the very first meeting at the Normandy docking bay. That's also the meeting where you get the codex entry and if u dont take that one, you don't get the entry at all. She still lived.

You're right. You can skip the first meeting. I've also found the condition that triggers the Kai Leng warning. So here's the new list of conditions:

*Miranda must be loyal from ME2 (evidence to the contrary to be confirmed)
*If romanced, you must not break up with her (unromanced is ok)
*You must read Anderson's e-mailed dossier about Kai Leng before speaking with Miranda after the Citadel coup.
*You must not skip the vidcom conversation with her in the Spectre office after the Citadel coup.
*You must meet her again before starting Sanctuary and give her access to Alliance resources.
*You must have enough reputation to persuade Henry Lawson at Sanctuary OR take the Renegade interrupt.

This looks like a lot....

I didn't like this armor, it felt too bulky. I was always admired Miranda for her femme fatale image. People give her crap about wearing heels in combat. I'm a girl and I think she's a fraking goddess for working with heels like that :o So yeah, I'd definitely pick her loyalty mission outfit any day. Nonetheless, I still bought this armor outfit only because I want Miri to have a diverse wardrobe. lol

Anyway, seeing all this glimpse of Miri makes me think of the precise moment when I decided that Shepard will romance her. I think it's the first time I saw her in the intro scene, I realized that she's the one for Derek Shepard
When did you realize you wanted to romance Miri?

I liked Miranda's character from the very beginning... the scene with Miranda and the Illusive man... Shepard temporarily woke up... to Miranda killing Wilson in cold blood. Shepard... was attracted to her and went after her romantically after the LM... (only time we could really) So maybe love at first sight. : ) I always brought her along on nearly every mission. Might have to go play ME2 again for more Miranda time. :)

For my Shepard, it was when she suddenly appears and shoots Wilson. Not that he wasn't intrigued already, but that was definitely the moment Image IPB

I always playthrough ME2 again from time to time, especially when I get indoctrinated with Liara canon romance too much. (I love Liara, just saying that... aww nevermind I don't want to write my whole blog post again. Click below if you want to see )

This is true for all ME2 romances...I feel like you get shafted gamewise if you pick someone other then from the first game or the new people in the 3rd game...

In january 2010 when I've seen the Loyalist trailer video for the first time :P

In the game, my Shapard began to feel emotionally attached to Miranda after the second conversation. And he fell in love during her loyalty mission.
