Ugh, you're right.
Hackets does talk about losing the element of surprise whereas he does not in a game where Miranda survived. And I was talking about any situation where Miranda dies, BTW.



However, it never really amounts to anything. You don't lose any War Assets.
Also, I just gained a new appreciation for Liara. If you take her to Cronos, she starts wondering if the reason Cerberus went bad was because of how they work in secret and if she wouldn't have done the same thing to save Thessia.
Of course, this is a conversation we should have had with MIRANDA!!!!!

You point out a huge problem I had with ME3: Shepard is forced to care about certain characters and others are simply assumed to have no impact on you: He gets depressive over a random kid's death, but his love dies and it's done with a single line of conversation.

She could be coordinating Hammer from the FOB or she could be with Sword, piloting her Figther. I picture her taking on less Oculus and more Destroyers.
When Harbinger shows up, Joker, EDI and Miranda could distract it in the air so Shepard can reach the Conduit.

And, Miranda should be coordinating assault teams, she is a tactician, a ruthless tactician in my head canon (like Lelouch from Code Geass).

Distraction, setting up technical infrastructure, leading small teams disabling tactically important Reaper weapons, all that stuff. Also Cerberus researched Reaper communication - strikes against Reaper communication is also a possibility.

Whatever she does, Miranda would be wasted as a frontline fighter.

Quite frankly, and this will sound odd, after she shot Wilson and quipped about it. I fell in love with that accent and attitude. Plus, I always got the sense I could thaw her out a little; just surprised how.

I'd romanced Ashley in ME1 but, I'll admit, that was more for achievements' sake (and I didn't like Liara) but, when I switched to PC before ME2's release, I still kept my playthrough faithful. Of course, ME2 came long, and there's no going back from Miranda.

Then I was convinced to watch Chuck, and there's no going back from Yvonne Strahovski.
Funny thing is, I'd never thought much of her from the photos my friends had shown me. She really is someone you have to see in action. And she helps, because the show really has its highs and lows...

Nearly right off the bat. Soon after I talked to Miranda a bit, I was definitely like "Screw Ashley. Miranda has a much better character."
