Because Mac Walters is the lead writer.

That does honestly worry me a bit. Though I'm not sure how they could alter Synthesis in a way that negates my headcanon. Plus, if all else fails, you could always reject their canon and re-insert your own.

Thats the very least they can do. But I'd take even that with open arms. I want an ending where Miranda and Shepard can be together, happily.

That's unclear right now.  Some tweets by Michael Gamble and (I think) Mac Walters suggest that they're in the process of contacting them.  But that was a few weeks ago, so who knows.

Meer and Hale anyway. I could definitely see them trying to get by with only those two for a free DLC. But you could do something reasonably satisfying in terms of an epilogue or even a reunion scene without the VAs.

Honestly, I hope that they keep Weekes and Dombrow as the lead writers on this. I really think that Bioware should look into "containing the situation" with certain individuals after what happened with ME3.

LoL, it's funny that you mention that because that line has crossed my mind a time or two with regard to the ME3 endings/Extended Cut/etc.

One reason they will be trying hard to make fans accept the endings is that some careers + reputations will be seriously affected if they don't. They already have been, of course.

It's interesting how these thing work, though in a sort of morbid way. Weekes has been sanctified as a genius, basically, while Walters and Hudson are demonized for the foreseeable future... all because of the same game.

They are all indotrinated bt EA anyway, some of them might still have control of themsleves.

If the staff begins an exodus and starts a new company, I might be interested on their work.

There's is a game coming out made by former members of Bioware, Ion Storm, and Retro Studios called The Banner Sage

As for Bioware, I'm looking forward to see if the guys down at Bioware Victory will live up to the name or if they're just an attempt by EA to cash in on the Bioware name.

Weekes has been sanctified partially because he's been credited as being most in line with the people critical of the ending in its current form (and partially for writing some of the best scenes in the trilogy)

Hudson's radio silence since the initial outcry about the endings isn't doing him any favors in terms of public opinion

Walter's comments that summarize as being perfectly happy with the ending and expressing surprise about people wanting to play post-ending DLC 'in a wasteland'....that's just self-inflicted damage there.

You're right, those are some of the reasons why it's happening

But then again, making some random post, with a semi-anonymous username that is known to be you, about how Casey and Mac were soley responsable for the ending, and how you didn't really like it much, when you know that fans are pissed and looking for someone to blame...

Well, that's not what I would call noble, exactly. Actually, I think we would all call it "throwing them under the bus," and wouldn't think too highly of it, if we weren't generally pissed off already.

Walters' blog post on relationships in ME3 really only applied to a couple of characters. I didn't really care as much about the squad as I did in ME2.

I'm not going to throw Hudson and Walters under the bus, but I'm probably going to avoid projects they work on in the future.

So I've essentially given Miranda Chakwas' place on the ship, which means she needs to function as ship's doctor. How good would she be at the role? Where might she slip up that Chakwas or Michel wouldn't? Nothing life-threatening, just annoying.
