About the Miri Fanbook: What is taking so long? We do not have much time before the Extended Cut is released. If we are too late this project would mean nothing to BioWare because it would be too late.

In the first two seasons I wanted Bryce to die for good (possibly while in pain).

When Shaw came in I wanted Bryce to come back and inflict said painful death on Shaw with an indeterminate multiplier...

We are not in a rush. I'll be making a post soon with a deadline and some more information.

The Extended Cut is likely content-locked already, and we have done everything we can for that via tweets and the joint projects.

To put it quite shortly, most of what we wil see in the EC has, likely, already been decided.
Influencing it is not the purpose of the fanbook.

Yeah I hated Bryce up until season 4 that's when I realized looking back Bryce was awesome. With out him Chuck wouldn't be chuck and the same for the rest of the cast. And unlike Shaw Bryce knew when he lost.

I liked Bryce. Poor guy gave up a lot for Chuck.

So guys, what do you think would be a better reuinion scene for Shepard and Miranda?

Shepard finding Miranda, or Miranda finding Shepard? I worked out a cool scenario for each.

For Shepard finding Miranda, I imagine Miranda searching for Shepard, and she's visibly upset because she's losing hope. But then an arm gets put around her waist and it turns out to be Shepard, much to Miranda's happiness. Basically he surprises her.

As for the vice-versa, Miranda calls Shepard's name, softly. When Shepard opens his eyes in the pile of rubble, the first thing he sees is Miranda looking down at him with the Mona Lisa smile. And then he gets up and they embrace.

Either one would be pretty cool, but I'd like the latter better. Thoughts?

Bryce lost Sarah. Shaw didn't want Sarah once he discovered she had killed his wife. He just wanted her to suffer.
Shaw should have been the villain in the last three episodes. Not sure Whatisface was doing there.

It just fits better in their romance that Miranda pulls him out of the dirt.

I honestly think there is quite a big possibility to have a reunion with your LI in the extended cuts. They know that it is something that will please a lot of people and this is what EC is about. To please people. Bioware isn't dumb and know that alot of people wil be very satisfied to see this reunion, including me . soooooo ...... here is hoping

@dtrain the two ideas Ive been throwing around for my post ME3 story is:
A: Having Miranda find Shepard.
B: Have it where they find each other. Like Miranda and the team are looking for survivors. They dont realize but their right next to Shepard who is semi-conscious. He can hear them but cant react. Miranda stops for a moment seemingly in despair cus she cant find him *Que epic drawing* and she looks at a pic. As shes doing that Shep uses last of his strength to activate an emergency beacon n his omnitool.

But I haven't decide anything yet. Still working on that comic trilogy thing though its slightly confusing isn't CrutchCricket? lol

Shaw was my fav villain and I agree he should of been the final villian. I wont go into that anymore in case of spoilers. I hated yet loved Shaw. I also really liked the actor he did such a good job switching roles like that.

Well in terms of the trilogy I'm ready to go though unsure of what to do next. I posted that character interpretation but haven't gotten a lot of feedback on it so I'm not sure if people are down with it. I also have an artist friend drawing up sketches of the guy already. I feel like it's a different direction from the pages Ali already posted so I want to make sure we're all in agreement first before we proceed. But yeah I already have ideas for how their first meeting is going to go.

Edit: Right now I'm only focusing on part 1. I haven't had any brilliant insights into the other parts and I'm tabling New Beginnings until the trilogy's done. Of course if anyone else has any awesome ideas for any of these we can of course work on them.

I picture Miranda getting readings about shepard's stats on her onmitool like "<insert many tech components here> failure" over and over again. As if she had a tracer about shepard's health statuses, to me it sounds quite logic after the lazarus project and stuff. Then she decides that she's the one to make the move and find him before he dies for real.

I can picture both.

Miranda finding Shepard is easier to imagine though. Her coming out of her fighter jet, seeing the rubble, heart heavy but tirelessly trying to find him, with the help of the other ME2 characters that were MIA from all the action. When they find him, it's basically what you have but Shepard blacks out after he sees her smile. Cue Hospital Scenes.

As for Shepard finding Miri, I see it to be months after the war. Someone else finds Shepard and he recovers, but hears no word about Miranda. Comm channels are still fried and Alliance brass is being no help. Fed up with no news, he gets the other ME2 characters (thinking Kasumi and Samara) to help him find her. They find her in Australia, helping out at a hospital under Alliance guard. She doesnt see him at first but when they do, cue sarcastic quips before kiss.
