According to Weekes (if that really was Weekes in that semi-anonymous forum post, which it probably was), he had to successfully argue in favor of the squad member farewell scenes for them to even happen.
That really shows how far these guys had their heads up their *sses. I don't really mean that in an insulting way, I almost feel bad for them, but they really got it all wrong.

Same here. I can draw about as well as stick figures, but I like to think my writing is marginally better (If the feedback I've received on my fics is any indication), especially comedy. Been studying that for 4 or so years now.
