Of course, of course. I just find it hard to get into such a mindset, especially in an intelligent man like Henry Lawson? What would he have to gain - long-term - by keeping it all to himself? It's not as if his daughters could ever "keep the bloodline pure", or that he could expect them to follow in his footsteps and continue things as he wanted. Miranda says he's obsessed with making his mark on human history, but keeping it all for himself will just ensure that the genetic gifts he bestowed on his daughters will be diluted in a few generations.Dr. Doctor wrote...

The knowledge of control is good. It's mass murder that's the problem. Which is a reason I like Henry. He's Miranda if she were devoid of compassion. Brilliant and able to do the impossible. But he cares only for power and glory.
The irony is, had he published his research on human genetic enhancement, he would've won his place in the history books and probably the Nobel Prize or some equivalent for having given humanity a great gift.
That would mean that the technology that he developed would beyond his control. Genetic manipulation exists in 2185 but it's used to prevent genetic disease or provide minor enhancement to soldiers. Henry's managed to develop modifications that could allow humanity to advance beyond its current biological limits. Publicly releasing his invention could potentially improve the quality of life for the whole of the human race, but because Mr. Lawson has such a large ego he decides to keep his advancement to himself. Better to have a "genetic dynasty" of genetically tailored individuals of his own creation that he can flaunt over the rest of humanity rather than using his creation for something good.
Yeah. At times I think the endings were deliberately made to ****** off as many of the fans as possible, just because it's hard to believe such a clusterf*ck of mistakes can be real. But then I think of ME:Deception.o Ventus wrote...

But that's basically what that whole scene was....that whole ending sequence is just an exposition in what NOT to do when you've already written a fantastic game....flemm wrote...

Then at the FOB, Anderson is showing all these schematics that make no sense, basically saying "see this area? we just RUN as fast as we can to this place. OK? Good, lets go"
LoL. It's pretty hilarious when you put it that way
Part of me likes to think they held an in-office competition, where whoever wrote the worst, most retarded ending won creative rights of the IP.

Has anyone just looked at the PC code and figured out what checks result in Miranda living or dying?
-Romance affirmation
-Alliance resources
-Paragon/Renegade with Henry Lawson (If not applicable, then shooting Oriana)
- (Obviously) loyalty form ME2
- (Obviously), survival from ME2

LOL, you haven't been here two years ago. The current Tali thread is the fifth incarnation, and the third one neared 100000 (!!!) pages when it was shut down. Not that that counts for anything, since it was mostly chat.o Ventus wrote...

Miranda has the 2nd largest thread. Only behind Tali. It'll be ok.
Except there has been 4 different Miranda threads, totalling almost 4000 pages in all. Tali only has the one, IIRC, and the only reason hers grew so rapidly is because hers (and Liara's) are the two that receive regular, very rapid posts.

As for the old Miranda threads, links to the first two are in the OP of the third one.
I think it's all he could do to leak the fact that there were some disagreements within the team. Anything more and he would've been slapped by the PR people or by his bosses for being illoyal. I also believe it's 100% true.CuseGirl wrote...
I'm really upset he couldn't own up to that post. I'm sorry, I believe it's 100% true. If it was fake, they wouldn't have had to take it down. And the website confirmed it was from his account yet Bioware or Weekes haven't come out and said "the account was hacked", nor have PA said they recently had a breach. Stop the freaking games, he outted the nonsense at the end of the game.flemm wrote...
Oh, I agree. I just read that and lol'd, because it was a funny/accurate way of putting it
According to Weekes (if that really was Weekes in that semi-anonymous forum post, which it probably was), he had to successfully argue in favor of the squad member farewell scenes for them to even happen.
That really shows how far these guys had their heads up their *sses. I don't really mean that in an insulting way, I almost feel bad for them, but they really got it all wrong.

Yeah, she has to speak other languages. She would have been taught humanities as well as sciences as a child.
Well, she is some kind of specialist in medicine or biology... and that understanding requires a certain knowledge of Latin.jtav wrote...
