Not sure, but you're right about Miranda. There's a hint of three-dimensionality in MIranda's ME2 outfit, that becomes more apparent with high-res mods. That's completely gone in ME3.Asakawa wrote...
is it just me or the skin textures for most female humans look better in ME2? Especially Miranda.

It may be so that I am grasping at straws but I could see a scientist, a businessman who believes in a human-positive agenda, a supremelly egotistical bastard and even a father who could spoil his child as long as it served his purposes.
I do think you're grasping at straws a bit. Where are any of those traits evident?
Anyway, even to the extent that we assume those traits are apparent, the issue is twofold:
1) No substance to the confrontation.
2) No sense that this individual presents any real obstacle to overcome at that moment in time.
Part of the problem with bad writing is that it has weight simply by existing. It would have been soooo easy to make this confrontation a gazillion times more effective and interesting than it is in the game. After all, Henry is there researching indoctrination. His main character trait is his domineering tendencies. So, instead of having him hide behind Orianna (LoL), you have him defend himself with his research.
It even works as a bit of foreshadowing of the confrontation with TIM.
Overcoming an obstacle is only significant if the obstacle is hard to overcome. That's mind-numbingly obvious, of course. But that is still the basic problem with the confrontation.

Goal: To showcase the many facets of Miranda Lawson
This is a tribute book for us, the fans, and for Bioware, the developers. People like Miranda for a lot of different reasons, and we want to capture all of that variety in the book. Also, we think that the character's complexity was not showcased to its full potential in ME3, so we would like to showcase it here.
Obviously, we would like to encourage Bioware to make more Miranda content. But regardless of whether they do or not, we want to leave this behind at Bioware headquarters as a permanent statement. Let's talk about what was right and what wasn't; what we loved, and what we didn't. An electronic copy will be made available to all.
Deadline: Wednesday, May 30th, 2012.
SUBMISSIONS
**** Contributions can be sent by email to mirandafanbook@gmail.com ****
On the BSN, they can be...
1) Sent via PM to Vertigo_1 or flemm
2) Posted in the group for the Fan Book project: http://social.bioware.com/group/7217/
FAN ART
We would like to include a wide variety of fan art. Keep in mind that the book will be printed in 8.5" X 11" format, which is standard paper size. So, you may want to keep that in mind when creating images.
We have a lot of beautiful fan art already, so I can't wait to see what else you all will come up with
LETTERS
Here is an outline of what a typical letter might include:
Dear Mass Effect 3 Writers and Developers:
1) Thank you for creating the Mass Effect universe and its characters.
2) I am a fan of Miranda because...
3) Regarding Miranda's content in ME3, I was... disappointed with X, happy with Y, etc.
4) In DLC content for Miranda, I would like to see...
5) Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
*alias and/or name of your choice*
FAN FICTION
Fan fiction, including excerpts and dialogues, should really help us capture the variety and complexity of the character as viewed by her fans. For excerpts especially, feel free to include an "author's note" at the beginning to explain why you chose that particular piece.
Page range for text submissions: The usual length of letters ranges from one paragraph to several pages. It's up to you. A short letter can be very effective, as can a longer letter. Typically, fan fic submissions range from one to four pages.
We have a lot of great contributions already, and I can't wait to see the final product!

Well good luck man. I'll let you know the last half of that season is amazing. And amazingly emotional.
Did you like Shaw's return? And plz feel free to let me know when you get to ChuckVsTheBulletTrain.
OK back on topic. If in working on a comic where would that go in the book? Fanfic or art?
Also I have a letter to Bioware that has a bit of fanfic in it. Can I just submit that as a whole to the "Letters to Bioware" section?

I couldn't bring myself to watch that movie because it was terrible lolllll....but yea, it's not nice watching your hometown get blown to smithereens 2 every 3 years, especially when it's happened twice in reality.Td1984 wrote...

About the comic: no worries there. It's kind of its own thing, so I didn't include a section for it in this post, which is largely informational. We can talk about how best to place the comic in the book, I can't wait to see how it turns out.
As to the letter with a bit of fanfic in it, that can definitely go in the letters section. The above is just an overview, some of the organisaton will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, of course.

@flemm. Ok cool thanks for clarifying that. And I may have two comics to submit not sure yet.
Im thinking we need a Chuck thread....
I wouldn't go that far, but season4 is definitely the best imo.Td1984 wrote...
I'm somewhat tempted to ignore that Season 5 ever happened.
@MisterJB
I dont know if it was ignored, there was somw good character bits there. And after watching the ending a few times and seeing interviews with zack and Yvonne i may not like it that much but im ok with it.
@hot_heart Yeah Decker was lame imo Shaw was awesome, and the last villian either sucks or was pure evil depending who you ask.

Hey Flemm, do you have the other screenshots stored anywhere besides the thread on the fanbook group? Or should I post the ones I put on the thread there?
You can go ahead and transfer them to that thread in the fan book group that Ieldra started, if you want. That's where I would be transferring them eventually anyway, for organisational purposes.
Remember, for the screenshots, that a caption or description really adds a lot (like you did on yours).

No worries. It's on my "to-do" list anyway. I think, if you go in and "edit" your original post, then click "BBCode," you will be able to copy/paste the code into the thread in the group.
Then, refresh the page, and... voilà
Normally, that works.
