Four sessions? Would someone put that in context for me? About how much dialogue does that work out to?

It varies.

http://thegaminglibe...rview-part-two/

Ginny McSwain (Voice Director):
"Bioware usually books recording sessions of no longer than 4 hours, so as not to tire out one’s voice. I’ll arrive at the studio having done a vocal warm-up, put on a pot of lemon ginger tea (good for the voice), and hit the booth after a quick chat about the day’s session with my director Caroline Livingstone. As the player character, I generally have the advantage of having the other character’s recorded dialogue in a given scene to play off of. That’s usually fun to anticipate -- who will I be in the booth with today? Martin Sheen? Seth Green? Tricia Helfer?"

(scroll halfway down)

So anywhere from 4 hours to 16 hours total dialogue

Seth Greene, for example, is doing about 12 hours of VA work for ME3:

twitter.com/#!/SethGreen/status/72375792759341056
"Recorded my first 4 hours- 8 to go. No spoilers, but it's even better than you think."

I hope they at least show us Miranda outfit at ComiCon i would be satisfied if they show only that for now.
And about Jack well i also don't like her she just blames Miranda for everything Cerberus did to her, that's very hot headed and immature. Besides she is full of tattoos and personally, i find that disgusting :P

Can we knock it off with the Jack bashing? I happen to like both.

In addition to my earlier post there's a good chance that since Jack and Miranda are LI's, that the number of hours of dialogue will be somewhat the same overall.

The same amount of romance content, perhaps. But Miranda has more story potential, and I hope that's reflected in her presence in the game and in her interaction opportunities. But four sessions a 4 hours sounds like a lot. Does anyone know how that compares to ME2?

i didnt mean to upset you or anyone else who likes jack. Even though i don't like jack im just saying that some people likes the characters just because they look sexy and that goes for all characters. E.G jack : no shirt just a strap. Miranda:wub:: alot of views of her ass. so you see alot of the characters looks sexy (mainly the womens)

Not necessarily, we don't know how it works in the game, they could have ton of dialogue for all. Former and current squadmates, since it's the final chapter. Still that could make me buy the game, even if she's not a squadmate, knowing there's a lot of her to go around with it.

4 sessions in 4 hours is the minimum for Jack's dialogue...the max according to the VO director for 4 sessions can be 16 hours (4 session x 4 hours = 16 hours total)

This is all speculation as we don't know the specifics, just the range.

It appears Mac Walters reviews romance dialogue...

I review all #romances, but I do not write all of them. #Liara is indeed being written by Sylvia.

What work did Sylvia do for ME1 and ME2?

She helped on LotSB DLC
Otherwise I believe she came to Bioware after ME2 shipped..

"Sorry! The only thing I'm honestly qualified to comment on is Lair of the Shadow Broker, as it's the first credited thing I ever worked on at Bioware. (I arrived two weeks before ME2 shipped)"

Third post down.

EDIT: No problem!

Just had a crazy idea out of the blue, in the matter of squad interaction, what if Bioware did something akin to flashbacks, for example, instead of Miranda telling you that she escaped from her father and the only real detail you get is that some shots were fired, you actually get to control Miranda during the escape in a flashback moment, something like a mini-mission, that way we'd get more into that particular character's back story and at the same time the player gets to know more about them than could've in conversation.

For instance, in ME3 and during a certain conversation with Miranda she can tell us about how she came to join Cerberus, or her first assignment, and as she speaks the screen fades to that particular memory only as Miri remembers it, it'd make for a very interactive storytelling and would make the player's -not necessarily Shepard's- relationship with the character be deeper.

I'd love something like that, but it would be a lot of work for them to put in just for her.
