Depends on which idea of "fun" you're talking about. Miranda isn't much for socializing, but she'd know how to play along, maybe even appreciate it in a detached sort of way. Her own idea of fun would probably involve something with less people around.jtav wrote...
This is a discussion I got into with my beta, but does Miranda know how to have fun on leave? She's more or less told Shep to socialize for the sake of her health, which means she's getting dragged along.

Miranda in Omega DLC = 1 x decontamination scene + 1 x shower scene.
That would be the romance-only content
I'm sure they can do some clever camera shots to not reveal too much just enough.
As for the camera angles - they did it in ME1, they did it with Liara in ME3. They can do it with Miranda.

Tbh. they are mostly well written and have a lot of things to say. The before-mission comments and conversations add a lot to their personalities. The problem is they don't feel like my team.Skullheart wrote...

That's an annoying way to do it. lol. But thanks, I'll try that next time I go through.kratos0294 wrote...
It's easy actually. On the hud, below your health, there is the icon of your squadmate. It depends where their icon is. If you want miranda to fall in the collcetor base, she needs to be on the right. I don't know how the icons position themselves however each time you die, when you come back the icons will have switched.kookie28 wrote...
Quick question. Is there a way to influence which squad member in ME2 does certain things in the background during certain cutscenes? Like, on Samara's recruitment mission when you talk to the drugged up volus, is there a way to "pick" who he walks toward and threaten (or whatever he says to them). Or who nearly falls off the platform in the Collector Base? I was just wondering because it's kind of weird to see Shepard risking his life for Legion every time.

Indeed. The whole team interaction, while nice, varied and occasionally funny, feels tame. Only Javik brings a little fire into it - he birngs Liara to fly into a rage, after all - but he's DLC, and we're supposed to reject his opinions anyway. Miranda would've added so much to the dynamic.flemm wrote...

It's why I think it's a shame she isn't squaddie. Forget the romance. The mere thought of the Cerberus 2IC having to work with the Alliance and deal with her boss going off the deep end should have had the writers rubbing their hands in glee.
It certainly would have been interesting. Clearly the idea was to return to an ME1-style squad where everybody basically gets along/is uncontroversial. A little tension with the VS initially, but that gets resolved pretty quickly.
I don't think that was a great idea, really. It's a step backwards, if anything.

This mission could've sidestepped the hologram on Earth as a better goodbye and would've possibly ended in the best kiss of gaming history... Wonder how they could waste that potential with EDI...

Yep, Javik says that. And I recall thinking "Is Miranda a synthetic now?". And should organics become immortal, which is quite possible, will they have the same attitude to time synthetics have according to Javik?jtav wrote...
What gets me fired up is the loss of potential. Unless I'm remembering cut dialogue, someone (EDI?) says that a major difference between synthetics and organics is that synthetics know by whom they are created and for what purpose. And one of the points of tension is that a synthetic knows its creator to be flawed. Sounds a bit like Miranda, doesn't it? EDI is the synthetic with human capacity for love, friendship, and humor. Miranda could have been the other side of blurring the line between the tw because she's a biological human created like a synthetic.
BTW, if you want to find that conversation: speak with Javik after Priority: Geth Dreadnought.

Well, we've talked about this before, but I agree 100%. EDI's arc is essentially TNG's Data: the robot learning to be human. Miranda could have an arc going in the opposite direction, which, to my knowledge anyway, would actually be a lot more unusual for pulp sci-fi.
She's the organic learning to embrace/incorporate certain aspects of synthetic life.
If I were doing it, there would be two major aspects (#2 is going to need some explaining):
1) Means of creation/reproduction, i.e. the "design" element that she shares with synthetics.
2) Network consciousness.
The existence of indoctrination suggests it's possible for organics to have this: it's essentially a pernicious signal that dominates organic minds long-distance. So, one could have Miranda reverse the indoctrination signal that is controlling the slaves created by her father/TIM in such a way that the network connection is preserved, but is no longer pernicious.
Miranda and the freed Cerberus soldiers represent the "future of humanity" in that they have become "more like them," i.e. more like synthetic life. The opposite of Legion granting individuality to the Geth, in essence.

She's pretty much the face of Cerberus in ME2 when it comes to interacting with the player, it would have made sense to continue that trend with the Cerberus arc in ME3.

I don’t know. We aren’t properly briefed yet. Let’s see what Miranda has to say in the upcoming meeting.
Just wait for the Turian to show up, then it’s all bedtime story for me. (not sure what that means actually)
There he is... Garrus! Glad to see you! Didn’t plan to miss the party, huh? I would have been all lonely without my Turian friend, haha.
Grunt! Haha, finally some familiar faces! Glad to see you all here. Am I late or something? Seems like you are all waiting for me…
What a bunch of suck-ups. I hope these are the exact people who helped Shepard take down the Collectors. Why do I have the feeling that they can’t even wash their own underpants? A tank-bred Krogan, really? Wow…
And who in Palaven’s name are you?!
I wouldn’t mess with him if I were you, Garrus. He’s a cold killer from where I see it (the rest isn’t really needed here)
A cold killer you say? He doesn’t look any cold to me… other than a armored tin can.
Name’s Jason Castor, but I’m good with Faust. (sorry, I don’t get what you are trying to say next)
Faust! Enough!
A few days ago Faust found out about an unknown distress beacon, located far beyond the Outer Rim. It emitted high frequency pulses (don’t get what you are trying to say next)
The Anotomus relay. It’s highly more advanced than the previously visited Omega-4 relay, which resulted in the same strength in it’s mass effect core.
(correct part)… Because I wouldn’t mind saving your ass out there. I’d hate to watch you get killed by someone else…
(correct part) I am not planning to disappoint. I have some tricks up my sleeves, as well.
Miranda, are we prepared for this? Don’t you think we need Shepard? Even Mordin and Legion didn’t managed to join us.
(don’t know what you mean in the beginning) Let’s hope for a pleasant ride. Faust here is a man of surprise, he’ll do the best he can to get us out alive, as well.
I don’t know Miranda, but I’m trusting you for this. Let’s hope we find a way to stop those Reapers and make Shepard proud. I’m glad you’re here. (alternative: I am confident we will do good)
Thanks Tali. I suggest everyone to take some rest. We’ll be hitting the Anotomus relay in 2 hours. Good luck.
... I've done the best I could. I'm not a native English by myself, so it's far from perfect.
I'm posting it here for the professional writers to correct completely^^
