My Miri is totally eating Junk food and helping me mess with Joker/EDI and Garrus. She would be great at pulling off elaborate pranks.
Completely out of character!!!!
LoL. I do think there's lots of room for interpretation here
I know but its cool. I mean come on you gotta agree with me and dtrain here having joker/edi vs shep/miri would be epic.
See my brian likes to combine Sarah and Miranda. I see Miranda slowly turing more "human" kinda like Sarah did in the show. Going from badass serious agent into badass serious agent with a sense of humor.hot_heart wrote...
Part of it is just me thinking about how she could've been raised...but she could rebel against that and be a right pig. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]
Probably my brain also saying 'she MUST have a diet similar to Yvonne Strahovski's'
Like going from Sarah in CHUCK Vs the Pinkslip to Sarah in CHUCK Vs the A-Team
To be honest my first week posting I kinda thought girl. But I realized that was wrong as pics of miranda started getting posted and we started talking about what kinda DLC we wanted. Then i knew you were a Manly Man.hot_heart wrote...

I am a manly man, with an option to grow a beard and everything.
Although, I'd be interested in hearing your guess...I think [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie]

Yeah, the parallels are certainly there. Not sure if that's part of why BioWare chose her for the role or not, but they seem to influence one another in certain ways, I think.Ares91 wrote...

As for Chuck, that show has made me mentally cast Timothy Dalton as the voice of Mr. Lawson. Mostly for this reason.

Spontaneously, I like the first one better. But that might just be because it feels more pleasant and spring-like. Which might not be what you are going for.

"Everyone except the krogan. It's past time we atone for the mistake we made in sterilizing them."
Rachel folded her arms in front of her chest, torn between amusement and irritation. "Well, I see nothing remains secret around here."
Miranda looked over her shoulder. Her smile was almost as frightening as Wreav’s. "I might've brought you back, but I spent most of my time in Cerberus’ intelligence division. You should have thought of that before you brought me aboard."
Liara shrugged. "I am the Shadow Broker." She fixed her gaze on Miranda. "When we sterilized the krogan, we took away any hope they had for the future. As long as they’re teetering on the brink of extinction, they have no motivation to integrate into the larger galactic society. They’ll just keep fighting each other for dominance. I believe the human variation is slightly different, but the krogan have a proverb: 'Eat, drink, and slaughter each other, for tomorrow we die.'"
"And the fact that they even have a proverb like that doesn't tell you anything? The krogan population would be stable if they would just stop killing each other. At some point, they have to take responsibility for the state of Tuchanka. You don't give a child his toys back until he proves he can behave himself. If the krogan population starts expanding, it's only a matter of time before overcrowding leads to conflict. Among themselves, and with other species. Basic biology and sociology, really."
"Exactly how soon are we talking?"
Liara punched something into the terminal. "Wreav has stockpiled more WMDs than any Urdnot leader of the last hundred years, but he's also used more. Given how many of them are going to be dying against the Reapers in even the best case scenario, it would take over three hundred years for them to return to the population levels of the pre-Rebellions era." Her features softened and Rachel saw, not the Shadow Broker, but the young woman who had managed to find compassion even for Saren. "You say that you don't give a misbehaving child back her toys, but you do show compassion to an abused child long before she's done anything to deserve that compassion. When we sterilized the krogan, we inflicted a lasting scar on their psychological makeup. We wronged them, so we have to take the first step at reconciliation. And you of all people should be more sympathetic to the horror of forced infertility, breeding or not breeding at the whim of another organic. Henry—“
The rigidity in Miranda's shoulders worked its way down her back until she was stiff as a corpse, and the temperature dropped until it was as cold as a Port Henshan winter. "You know? But of course you do. I’d forgotten how very godlike the Shadow Broker could be." Miranda shook her head. "Yes, knowing that you will do nothing but miscarry is horrible. The salarians should have just reduced the potency of krogan sperm or the number of eggs a female could carry to term without making those females entirely infertile. But they didn't. And we can’t let empathy override facts."

On another note, I understand many of us are in low spirits but we have a chance of affecting what DLC gets made. I would rather put forth this effort and fail knowing I gave it my all, than to not do anything and wodner what could ahve been. One tweet can mean the world of difference in perception as well.
Its things like that and the projects we are doing that can really get things moving. It seems like Weekes really wants this as well. He keeps on saying keep it up on the boards etc. I am taking that as he is encouraging us to keep this going so that he can bring it forth to the rest of the devs to get the green light for something like this.
And if it is all for not, than at least Mirandas fans and the ME 2 squad fans, and even the ME fans (in the larger context) would go out swinging and not with a whimper of self loathing and despair Don't go out how Shepard went out in ME 3. It is the least we can do.
