Tweeted. Although I suggest if tweeting, perhaps do it at a time that they are not working and are tweeting and maybe spread out...seems like Weekes is tweeting right now.
On another note, I understand many of us are in low spirits but we have a chance of affecting what DLC gets made. I would rather put forth this effort and fail knowing I gave it my all, than to not do anything and wodner what could ahve been. One tweet can mean the world of difference in perception as well.
Its things like that and the projects we are doing that can really get things moving. It seems like Weekes really wants this as well. He keeps on saying keep it up on the boards etc. I am taking that as he is encouraging us to keep this going so that he can bring it forth to the rest of the devs to get the green light for something like this.
And if it is all for not, than at least Mirandas fans and the ME 2 squad fans, and even the ME fans (in the larger context) would go out swinging and not with a whimper of self loathing and despair Don't go out how Shepard went out in ME 3. It is the least we can do.
Preach it, man. I agree with everything you said.
Especially the "go out swinging" part.
And I agree on the message Weekes is sending us as well. So, let's play along
For some reason I'm reminded of that scene in Hunt for Red October, where the two submarines are trying to establish communications.
One ping only, please...

Really? You can't save her without ME2 import? But even if, she dies very late in the game so there could be still a mission prior Horizonjtav wrote...

Tweeted as well. Also mentioned that the flashback needs to be fixed. That makes me almost more angry than the ending, and that's saying something.kookie28 wrote...

Yes, she'll die at Sanctuary so there can be content pre-Horizon. There have been rumors she can live in non-imported games, but I think they're wrong. It's hard to say for sure since few are playing default games around here.IsaacShep wrote...

I'd rather see Miranda content at Cronos Station though. I don't think there's a big chance of that happening, but if most players play imported games it's possible.

He managed to re-arrange the Miranda content so that it feels better than in the game. But nice at it s, it can't make up for the character mutilation. And what do you mean by "truly human"? People usually start throwing that around when people get emotional, as if being detached was not being human somehow. I take issue with that. Also Miranda isn't that emotional, except around her sister and in the romance. ME3 Miranda is extremely one-sided in that regard, and along with the focus on personal matters, that one-sidedness damages her stature. ME3 Miranda is implied to be awesome, but it's never shown.OmegaXI wrote...
Wow I just finished watching the "I promise" ME3 Tribute and it does her character and romance alot of justice.
I love how it shows how truely human Miranda is, and that she is pretty much Shepards equal.
Nonetheless, I like the video. Better than I expected anyone could do with the limited content.

Most players that would buy DLC play imported games I'd say.Ieldra2 wrote...

You have to use those 3D render programs. You can get it yourself, kinda expensive and you gotta be patient when it comes to learning.

I'll let the artists handle that. I can stick with my stick drawings.
Yeah, I'm pretty useless with that too.

I was thinking about a scenario where Henry lured Miri to sanctuary as part of his deal with TIM and by the time Shepard gets there Kai Leng is already taking her to Cronos station because TIM wants to interrogate her personally or something (she mentions he failed to kill her in her first convo I believe).
So when you reach Henry and Oriana, You could maybe have a choice to let him take her in exchange for info on his experiments (for some boost to your EMS idk) and TIMs location or Kill him thereby the EMS boost and Oriana tells Shepard that Miri had a locator on her and that he should be able to track her.
It would also let Oriana join you on the normandy for some more story on her and Miri's relationship and more backstory for her character. I would give the player a chance to see that side of Miri because as of now its nonexistent. A little more context as to what Henry intended because Miri could have given Ori details on what her life was like.
I think making cronos a rescue mission in addition to retrieving the prothean vi would make it much better. Busting in and mowing them down to save Miri before its to late not knowing if hed made it in time would make for a badass Shepard scene along with a very emotional reunion (an embrace, kiss, and maybe a I love you thrown in there.) then things play out largely the same except now EDI and Miri are your squadmates. Idk havent gone into deep details.
Back on the normandy you get a proper romance scene and some pillow talk before Miri says she Knows shepards going to earth and she needs to get Ori somewhere safe and she will see him there.
This would lead perfectly into the ending in my head and im interested to see what you guys think.

I agree, a lot of who Miranda is gets left on the cutting room floor in ME3. Her codex entry paints her as being a marvel of modern genetic science, but it glosses over a fair bit of her work with Cerberus or how her genetic tailoring affects her.
Cerberus for the most part gets overlooked in ME3 as well. I liked ME2's portrayal of them as a group seeking to advance the cause of humanity on the galactic stage. I didn't support them because I agreed with TIM's methods, I supported them because I agreed with the idea they believed in. ME3 pretty much takes that and says "they're space ****s now, you should despise all that they stand for."

Love your excerpt. I think I've finally found out what makes your stories so interesting and lets them fit into the universe so well: you're linking different elements of the ME universe and story, making something more of them. Like here the effects of the genophage and Miranda's infertility. Linking them results in different perspectives on both and adds complexity, making both the characters and the world feel more real. The in-game character stories are often too self-contained in comparison.
And Miranda is her usual pragmatic self. Yes, reducing fertility at a lower level, that's exactly what the salarians should've done. Not being reminded every day that your reduced fertility isn't natural would probably have done much to make the krogan develop a better mindset.
