... Assuming that this is not the case: Go after Kai Leng. Miranda understands that saving the galaxy is more important than her sister. Eitherway, Henry won't kill Oriana. There will be another chance to rescue her after the war is over.

Hmm....if I were a writer, I would probably make Oriana die as a consequence of going the other way, but make going after the research result in a very noticeable benefit. And make it possible to wriggle out of it with a difficult persuasion option.

Anyway, I know what I would decide, but it would be hard on Miranda, even though she'd understand. 

IIRC, there was a decision like that - explore Sanctuary for clues or go directly after Lawson - in the earlier version of the game script.

@Aliqaiser: I prefer the first one. A clearer disconnect between the natural and the synthetic.

Just wanted to confirm something. Miranda is alive for default/non-import Sheps right? 'Cause I just read that Jack & Thane are dead in New Game without imports and damn... that does not bode well for any potential big DLC for them...

I don't think this is really too much of an issue, reason being that DLC always adds content to non-imports. Javik isn't there unless you buy the DLC, then he is.

I think the main factors are (1) dev willingness and (2) fan support. Weekes' attitude is encouraging (and he would certainly be aware of the state of non-imported games, etc.), so we should do as much as we can for #2.

Wow I just finished watching the "I promise" ME3 Tribute and it does her character and romance alot of justice.
 
I love how it shows how truely human Miranda  is, and that she is pretty much Shepards equal.
