So....has anyone tweeted with the new hashtag yet? I don't want to be the first since I already tweeted the day before yesterday.

Heh....I just checked my tweets. I tweeted four times about Miranda, the ME2 LIs and "fix the flashback" in the last month.

I did! And from my work place's account =p 3.5 followers got the message

Hey, they can't do that! Those are our words "Finish this and find me."

I know right? A couple of Miri supporters were saying that the hashtag doesn't apply to them but the Kaidanites and the rest answered that Shep has to find them too because they are stuck on a planet. However, I do like the fact that this hashtag is for Miri lovers specifically

Anyway if it means that the Kaidanites will help us tweet, then so be it.

I found this from the wiki page... Something to talk about...

How many believe Henry used Miranda's DNA to create Oriana? That's suggesting Oriana is a clone of Miranda? Miranda calls Oriana her twin... "We share the same DNA not the same birthdate." But refers to Oriana as her sister.  Could explain why Miranda's is so protective of Oriana.

Henry Lawson's X chromosome is not doubled; his Y chromosome is altered to incorporate various traits that Lawson desired in his offspring, which mimics an X chromosome.

( Mimic's as in not really an X? Why she has infertility problems? :(  She's not female? She looks female. Does she have that blasted thing every month?  Would probably tell a lot... if she didn't.  Wow... so much inconsistencies?  I don't think the writers did a lot of thinking.  Other than this sounds good?  Do they even have a character bible? What they do and don't do?  It's actually a must, don't you think?)

Henry is described as a powerful businessman who was obsessed with securing a genetic dynasty. Rather than give Miranda a human mother to randomize her genetic code, Henry took his own DNA and doubled his X chromosome to ensure she would have "desirable traits."

Miranda was not the first offspring engineered in such a way, but she was the first one Henry kept. Henry seemingly spoiled Miranda growing up, seemingly giving her everything she wanted, but there was always a hook, an angle designed to fit his long term plan for her. Eventually, Henry grew dissatisfied with Miranda and used her DNA to create a more ideal heiress, Oriana. Miranda rebelled, taking Oriana and fleeing after a violent shootout with Henry's guards. When Miranda went to Cerberus for protection, Henry withdrew his support for the organization.

On the topic of DLC, I am on the field of those who think our chances of a Miranda-themed DLC akin to "Lair of the Shadow Broker" are nonexistent.
Ultimately, Miranda can be dead and, as much as we migh wish otherwise, Bioware is not going to make a DLC for a character if they will have to pay to a different actor to voice a replacement character. There is no profit in that.

We've been over this and over this. See a few pages back for why "can be dead" is a load of crap.

Though I am confused about this "replacement character" business.

Bioware is not going to make a DLC that not all people can play. Thus, they would have to account for people who killed Miranda ergo they would need a replacement character which includes paying twice for Voice Work. In a DLC where the focus is a particular character like Liara in LotSB, this is just not profitable.

Then again, Bioware seems intent on extablishing canon with this "Homeworld" comic book series. Did you kill Team Dextro in the Suicide Mission? Well, think again, canonically, they survived.

Not sure if anyone saw or posted this here yet, but this is good news:
Patrick Weekes:
"Well, honestly, before I did an A/K-centric DLC, I'd likely push for ME1/2 squaddies who weren't squaddies this time.."

Why can't everybody play? Is there some hidden condition I don't know about that necessitates that some people kill Miranda and are unable to play with her alive? And a replacement character for a character specific DLC is just ridiculous.

Here's how it breaks down. Miranda DLC- accessible in games where Miranda is alive. If Miranda is dead- can't start DLC. If you refuse to save Miranda, chances are you don't buy the DLC anyway. Nothing lost.

Yep, we've been discussing this news a while ago. Mr. Weekes deserves a DAT ASS picture indeed.

I think this is quite plausible. Oriana is a clone sister/daughter - LOL, I've spent weeks with Elyvern figuring out how such a relationship might be proven. It is not always possible to prove though.

As for the chromosomes: Henry Lawson's Y was altered with desired traits to become Miranda's second X.

@MisterJB:
I think they may compromise on that stance given the percentage of games with more than one dead team member from ME2 is very low.

BioWare has never made a DLC that depended on a particular import flag. Miranda is dead in a little over 10% of all imports. And most people only play the game once or twice. Miranda will be dead in a significant percentage of games. So I don't think such a DLC would be financially viable for them.

That's not how a business reasons. They won't make a product that, right from the start, excludes a percentage of the consumers. In this case, those who don't like Miranda and killed her.
Can you find a single DLC in the history of gaming that depends on something the player has control over to start?

I wish i could help on twitter but i don't have an account and i'm kinda against it. Great news from patrick weeks, maybe not all hope is lost. I really feel patrick gets how important characters are important to the fans. However a dlc exclusive to miranda is doubtful, even patrick said that the chances are very slim so i guess the best we could get is a dlc for all the me2 squadmates, wich is better than nothing i guess :P Oh and yesikareyes, well done for the find, i really love the FindMiranda name, it's awesome and please, feel free to post more dat ass XD.

For Miranda I would either do a Leliana's Song style prequel or let her cameo in a Cerberus DLC. But I think BW is done with Cerberus.

I'm not shooting down anyone's efforts to get a Miranda focused DLC, but I really think that is doubtful that we will get one. However, who knows? like Weekes' said, if they see she has a strong fan base then they might just do something about it. So right now, I'm prioritizing the push for Miranda to have a substantial appearance in the Extended Cut DLC but still managing to rally for a Miranda DLC as a secondary objective.

Why thank you! I'm kind of flattered other LI fan girls/boys like it as well and using it for their love interests. :P

A"Take Omega Back" DLC is inevitable.

We have been having the same "No Miri DLC cus shes dead."VS"So people have multiple play through" debate for the past 3 pages at least. Everyone is just saying the same thing over again. Can we have a new conversation plz?

As for twitter Ive used it and Ive seen some other have as well. I also find it kinda annoying yet humorous that the Kadien and Liara fans have adopted it. Since clearly "Find Me" is a Miranda line lol

It steals her thunder a bit, but wouldn't it be great if that DLC ended with Petrovsky messaging Brynn and Miranda and they become the three heads of a new Cerberus.

We should be rallying every Miranda fan to push them *Bioware* for a DLC that we can all agree on than all the bull**** why we can't because of so and so and some dumb ass excuses I keep reading over and over. So tired of reading these pessimistic views on why it's not viable. Screw those reasons and make your voice heard in a positive way!

Let's do something about it and make it happen...! Writing, book, etc. Love the hashtag but I only use facebook.

That would be a very acceptable way of things to end. If you can do that mission early - it could be intertwined with acquiring the mercs after Palaven - it could mitigate the Oriana focus of her story in ME3 quite a bit.

Well, you could join the fanbook which is currently in progress... It includes a lot of great stuff with which we will show BioWare our dedication. That, plus twitter-invasion are already full-steam support^^

Irrelevant. DLC in general is meant to breathe new life into a game and a Miranda DLC is created with those for whom more Miranda content would do so.

Not DLC specifically but I point right back at Mass Effect and the VS. I always nuked Kaidan. I have absolutely no plans to save him, ever. That means his entire content from ME2 and 3 is wasted on me. I am part of a percentage of people that share that view. By your reasoning there would be no point in including Kaidan content because there is a percentage of fans that are excluded from that content. (Obviously the same would be true of Ashley). Cleary the inclusion of both indicates Bioware is just dandy with making content some people will never see. The distinction between unseen content in the original game and unseen content added later is insignificant.
