I wonder if they did that on purpose to make it sound like Harbinger as a little joke.

Probably done the way a lot of usernames are done in fiction- something that clearly relates to their identity- you know, like real usernames (especially on the Internet) do.<_<dtrain24 wrote...

Actually I do wonder why it's "Lawbringer". It's obviously a play on her name, but her character doesn't have particular ties to law enforcement or justice.
"Lawless-SR2" might be a better fit. It signifies far more to do with her. Her status in Cerberus, an organization outside (and some would consider above) the law. Law-less also as removed from her father Law-son. Also "less" or more specifically the "ess" sound as a female suffix.

I know there's Shenko and Shekarian or something. The only ones I could think of are Shepson which is weird but my friends and I came up with...

Some writer messed up, that's the most plausible explanation. Anyway, that damned dossier is best utterly forgotten. It was the first step to making Miranda what she is in ME3.Mr Massakka wrote...

What she is is a cardboard cutout of our character, not taken from the best angle. Let's not start in on this "dumbing down" theory again...Ieldra2 wrote...

Not really a fan of cutesy "pairing names". Thankfully I don't tune in to celebrity news otherwise I might've been driven to punch someone everytime I heard things like "Brangelina".
You can come up with something but I won't be using it.

Yeah, I get your drift.jtav wrote...
No, a woman who secretly wants nothing more than the traditionally feminine goals of nice clothes and family, to the exclusion of her scientific pursuits.
I don't think it would have been that bad to show off a little more feminine side (I always imagined her to be more like that anyway), but she is completely downgraded to that in ME3. The bad-assery and professionalism of the former Cerberus agent is just... gone.
Even though they had the perfect example on how to do it right: Sarah from Chuck.

It is not insignificant because when you bought ME3 you did so because you wanted to see the Ashley content (among others, of course) but you also paid for the Kaidan content even if you never see it.CrutchCricket wrote...
Not DLC specifically but I point right back at Mass Effect and the VS. I always nuked Kaidan. I have absolutely no plans to save him, ever. That means his entire content from ME2 and 3 is wasted on me. I am part of a percentage of people that share that view. By your reasoning there would be no point in including Kaidan content because there is a percentage of fans that are excluded from that content. (Obviously the same would be true of Ashley). Cleary the inclusion of both indicates Bioware is just dandy with making content some people will never see. The distinction between unseen content in the original game and unseen content added later is insignificant.
If they released a DLC of nothing but Kaidan content, people like you would have no reason to buy it. Bioware has no intentions of making a DLC that a percentage of the fanbase won't have reason to buy because that character is dead and, therefore, should not appear.

...which sort of segues into a Miranda-related question:
Had you known your Shepard would remain eternally lost, leaving a hole in the heart of your partner, would you still pursue the romance if given a second chance or save them the pain to come?
Or in non-fancy terms: would you still romance Miranda even if you knew Shepard would always die at the end of ME3?

I just do Shepard/Miranda. It's not really popular enough in fanfic circles to warrant a portmanteau couple name.
Speaking of fan fiction, I read one of your Shepard/Miranda fics. I liked it. I will write a review in a while.

Without wanting to derail the thread, I will say "It was alright, I guess." I probably would've preferred things a little more vague but just as hopeful. Still, a happy ending is a happy ending.Ares91 wrote...

That is not absolute. It depends on the percentage of people who have no interest in saving Kaidan (or Miranda) which is distinct from simply games where they are dead. I suspect the percentage of people like me is actually fairly small and most games where Kaidan dies is simply the result of the player favoring Ashley (or vice versa).MisterJB wrote...

Regardless you're missing the point that there is nothing making "dead" character DLC inherently unaccessible to all. I choose to kill Kaidan every time but nothing is stopping me from saving him. I choose to save Miranda every time but nothing stops me from killing her. I choose whether to buy DLC for either and nothing is stopping me from doing so or from running it on my computer. Notice how it's all about my choices as the consumer? So really the percentage of people who kill or save a character is only tangential. At the end of the day the real question is will enough people buy this DLC? If yes proceed.
