No, that was another Watamaniuk. Preston Watamaniuk is a game designer and was lead designer for ME2, if I recall things correctly, Jay Watamaniuk is the writer.cbutz wrote...
watamanuik wrote miri for em 3 correct? perhaps we could ask him...although if she is written into a dlc or ec it may be written by someone else.

That is correct, yes. As far as I know, Jay W. is not on twitter.

I think Kaidan is so lame and whinning, he anoys the hell out of me. My FemShep romanced him in the first game, but only for lack of options because everytime he talked I wanted to smash something on his head. Then there was Horizon and now I just hate him for the same reason I hate Ashley, not to mention he wasn't any better in ME3 being all distrustful. And the gay romance with Kaidn was just awful, it should'be been done since game one or not done at all.
For me, the best FemShep LI is Thane, I guess I have a thing for tortured guys. I hated the
treatment Miranda received in ME3, but I hated Thane's even more. He's death did him justice, but the romance content was just awful, I won't even get to it.
Yet it's my opinion and I won't change because you didn't like what I wrote. And I can assure you I'm not the only person who finds Kaidan annoying. I guess his fans really are some of the most extreme.
As of the recording lines, I'm still not hopeful that Yvonne we'll have any recording, or any character from ME2 that's not the dextro team for that matter. Still, I'll start following Courtenay Taylor, if anyone from ME2 cast will say anything about it it's probably her.

Also with the two VAs confirmed , though it gives me hope, I will wait until ME 2 chars are on board. For all we know it could just be for ME 3 Squaddies.

It's possible, of course, and might not even annoy me much, depending on the precise content and scope of the DLC. If they start including epilogues for characters, reunion scenes, action from the final battle, or whatever, then of course Miranda should be there.
If it's really limited to just trying to make the endings themselves seem less stupid and confusing, then it might not make sense to involve a whole lot of other characters.

I don't expect this, but it'd be awesome if they'd redo the FOB so Miranda and Jack could get last kisses.

Oh! Sorry if it felt like I meant to offend anyone, but I think the Kaidan same sex romance was a little forced. In the first game we have Ash flirting with Shepard, Liara being nervous around him/her and Kaidan is completely indifferent towards ManShep, so it's strange that all of a sudden he decided he was attracted to him, that's why I think it should've been done since the first game and not start on the third. Honestly I believe Vega would make a more believable romance option.

I would, but not that way. I prefer cybernetics as a means of improvement.
There you go: Miranda as David Sarif post ME3.
Maybe not entirely like Sarif, he had good intentions but I didn't really agree with the assumption that augmentation would suddenly solve all the world's problems.
While we're on the topic of Deus Ex, this exchange sort of makes me picture Miranda joining Cerberus

Except TIM wouldn't encourage that kind of familiarity. As for Sarif, I like his ideas of "stealing fire from the gods", but I'd be very, very wary to entrust the develop and spread augmentation technology to corporations.Dr. Doctor wrote...

He didn't decide all of a sudden that he's attracted to him. First of all, Horizon scene makes it clear he has more than just friendship feelings for mShep, and then in ME3 he explains that he just didn't realize it until the recent events, but it's the reason he never hooked up with anyone else other than mShep. And you seem to forget that mShep lacks dialogue lines in ME1 that FemShep has which make Kaidan start "getting ideas". And the sequence of interactions between mShep/FemShep and Kaidan is different too. mShep can't even speak with Kaidan till like halfway into the main storyline. By that moment, FemShep already had intimate interactions with him in the MedBay after the beacon explosion on Eden Prime and then she could speak with him right after that.Babi_Siha wrote...

Finally, let's be honest. No one complained about Tali & Garrus "suddenly" deciding they like Shep in ME2. We all know what is the actual reason why it's suddenly a problem with Kaidan.

Actually I think Tali always had a crush on Shepard, but I do think for ManShep she should be more like a little sister than a love interest. As of Garrus, he's not my LI of choice for FemShep, but in ME2 I can see why their friendship could become something more, it's kinda clear that was just blosoming and their feelings weren't always there since the first game.

Based on what? Information from ME2/LOTSB? Certinately not from ME1 since she was, lemme quote you: "completely indifferent towards ManShep"? Same situations and yet you apply different standards. Again, next to no one was bothered when Tali revealed feelings in ME2 because it's absolutely realistic and happens IRL. There are many reasons why people may not approach someone right away. But of course when it's 2 guys, then it's suddenly a problem.Babi_Siha wrote...

Let's wrap this discussion, ok? You think it's normal for a person to decide out of nowhere he's been in love with someone for three years, I say it's not. No reason to dwell on that or for you to claim it's prejudice of people who agree that the Kaidan s/s romance didn't feel natural.
