I'm all for letting her know she's appreciated, but don't scare her.

Exactly! Hehe.

Just saw that Krista Hauser thing. Hmm, that's an idea. Starting a 'Find Miranda' or whatever Twitter account and, hopefully, gathering followers...

So maybe we don't send the Mirand abook but a diffrent book or we send her letters. Whatever we do, you guys are right we need it to have an air of professionalism to them. Talk about how much we liked the character but make sure we note what a great job she did bringing Miranda to life, that we appreciater her work and so on. Im sure we could pull that off.
@yesikareyes plz no one thinks your a lady perv. We know you are lol :police:

And Im all for someone making a @FindMiranda twitter account.

I had this crazy idea. If you don't like it, feel free to tell me but I just wanted to suggest it. I'm a staff member in Hold The Line as well and I could promote this as an initiative. We've gathered so much support with Turn On / Turn Off and Operation Tsunami which were both featured on Forbes and International Business Times.

I know this whole retakemovement and holdtheline is sensitive since not all Miri fans agree with it, but it's still possible to promote initiatives in HTL as a "semi-independent" project since it's an open community and it's still about Mass Effect.

Thoughts?

@yesikareyes , it sounds like a good idea as long as we treat them as two completely different things. No one at BW will even read what we have to say if we include the tags #holdtheline and #retakemasseffect. It's a great way to get support as long as we keep independent as you said. =]

About the book, so far I haven't seen anything that may creep her out. But it's right that she'll probably be happier about our support if we keep things professional. We compliment her voice work, tell her about her emotional moments in ME3... Basically, we compliment her work and not her assets and I think we should be fine.

BTW, what G4 interview is this one you guys are talking about?

My suggestion with regard to the book would be: (1) focus on completing the version we send to bioware (2) later create a modified version that could be sent to Strahovski, if people are interested in doing that.

I say that because I do think that the content we would want to send would be somewhat different. Notably, the letters. But once we have a .pdf of the fan book, it would be easy to adjust it to be more tailored for Strahovski.

Remember, with regard to the fanbook: deadline for submissions is May 30th. I will be doing an initial tally of what's posted in the group soon. It's already quite substantial, but we will want to build on this in the coming weeks.

1) Letters
2) Art
3) Fan fic
4) Select Screenshots

I'm ok with spreading the word to HTL, and doing projects and stuff. But I don't want Miranda DLC or myself associated with the "extremists" of Retake. By that I mean the people raging at Bioware on Twitter, BSN etc.

I don't mean to sound rude but if it were me, the fanbook might creep me out a bit (and I contributed!). I'm not sure if she ever considered the role as a major one. I could be wrong.

As dissapointing as it may sound... I agree. She seems to see this role as a sideline voiceover for some video-game.
It would defnitely be a suprise for her... either in a positive way for great fan feedback, or in a negative little creepy way...:?

True. I'm admittedly my own worst critic, but I'm not sure I'd want Yvonne reading my contribution. Not sure they would be good enough and I'd freak about the possibility it might creep her out a bit.

@@yesikareyes I agree with them as long as we can keep it separate I say do it.

With regards to the book. I agree with you Babi_Siha I havent seen anything that would be creepy but I think we should still have a modified version for Yvonne.

@Flemm I wanted to suggest we modify the book how your saying I just wasnt sure if it was possible. I also think the Yvonne book should be more letters and less art no offense.
And my comics are coming along "Narrative" wise. I still doubt the trilogy will be done in time. But my side project will be. With or without the art Ill still send it in.

Overall I think it is best to keep the book focused on its original objective until it is complete. Afterward,  we can make an adjusted version if we want.

I think a lot of people would want to send a different type of message to Yvonne than to Bioware.

Alright cool, I'll put it up on Hold The Line but I will keep do my utmost best to keep it independent of those "extremists" and not let other LI fans steal our #Find hashtag lol. Yes, I will ask them not to include HTL and retake hashtags when they tweet about #FindMiranda. It would have to be done purely out of goodwill and love for Miranda.

Just wondering, is anyone here members of HTL?

@Flemm

Can I post this fan book project in HTL?

Sure, you can post the links in my sig, for example. One is a summary, one is a link to the group.

Yeah, I don't think any of us intended for her to see our letters. It would be weird.

what do you think why said Miranda in ME2 "I never wrong Jacob" because I think she already know that`s not true.

Well you said you write sports stuff right? So giver her the play by play on what you liked. Her Voiceacting, the personality she brought tot he character, her insight into mirnada during her interviews, her ablity to put up with that "Other" part of the fanbase. Then tell her you loved and appericated her work and would like if she considered doing more.

I'll just post the whole thing on HTL plus the link. Surprisingly, there are ME fans who don't have BSN accounts at all.

EDIT: Wait are we going to make @FindMiranda twitter account? Because I don't know what we could possibly tweet there. Imo a hashtag seems pretty good enough

Yeah, given the general populace's feelings towards "fanfiction" I'd be wary of sending anything to the actors/actresses responsible for the characters.

Nothing , really. But it's more of a collection of stuff for (1) fans and (2) Bioware. If everyone wants to do a version for Strahovski, then great, but I think we would want to adjust it with that in mind. One thing at a time. Example: the letters are addressed to Bioware.

I'm pretty sure Strahovski has seen it all from fans at this point lol. Chuck fans alone are really devoted.
