Here is the HTL post if you want to check it out! Tell me if I represented you guys well and if not, I'd be happy to make revisions.

HTL LINK!

I loved it. That should get some attention for the cause.

Few things before I call it a night:

@jtav

I always expected your writing would turn out to be sad and negative but I read one that's actually funny. This is a compliment, I swear! I like how you write, very nice. I feel like Miranda is always in character. I was kind of sad when the one I liked turned out to be a one-shot. Looking forward to more!

Secondly, from reading Flemm's OP, it gave me the impression that we are sending this to BioWare too. If so, where are we going to mail this fan book? I have the desk address of Dr. Muzkya, Casey Hudson and some people from EA.

Patrick Weekes would read it. Mike Gamble looked through the group one too, and he has a say in what DLC is made. Those two are good bets.

We are, indeed. I've thought about the question of delivery. I have some ideas of how we might approach that when the book is done. It's possible an occasion might present itself for the book to handed over in person. Or a community manager like Jessica would probably be happy to receive it via mail.

We'll also have a .pdf copy to send, of course.

Sweet, well, the more motivated people are involved, the better. Hopefully we can keep the support going and have some fun doing it.

I've watched Yannkee's ME3 Miranda video every night before bed four nights in a row. Am I creepy?

You know, I feel that Miranda's romance scene should not have happened when it did. Instead, after Shepard and Miranda talk about how they never give themselves a break, I wish a scene more akin to the date with Kaidan had happened. No sex, just them, having a normal lunch. I would even have accepted an implication, Shepard speaks of taking Miranda out for a drink and it fades to black.

The sex would have happened after Sanctuary, before Cronos, of course.

Also, it is almost a certainty Tali will have extra lines in the EC. I wonder if they will bother to fix the "bug" where she speaks of Miranda and Shepard's relationship in the past tense after Sanctuary.

And now I'm wondering what Strahovski would make of my fan fic. *shudders*

I think your fanfic is very good. You wouldn't have anything to fear.

BTW: what changed your mind about the fanbook?

Good!

That was the high-res modded version with the half-visor, btw.. Very new. I only got it in January this year.

Feeling a bit bad I'm playing on Xbox now... :(
I want to record my current playthroughs. Even the low-res armor should make her outfit more fitting for a sucicde mission, though.

Food for thought, but why would you think if Miranda had become a Normandy NPC with all role comparable in size to Traynor or Cortez?

Would she ever leave the ship to go on a mission similar to wrex/legion? Or is she strictly a support role like Cortez always flying the shuttle or something?

Not ideal, but acceptable. I would still miss pre- and post-mission comments the team members get, but Traynor gets a new nice scenes and her moment of awesome in spite of not being on the team, and so could Miranda. But it would be acceptable only if she was occasionally present on a mission, even if not as a squadmate. For instance *cough* on Cronos Station.

Not really satisfying. Have to say that her current role in ME3 was even better than being a subservient communication officer or similar (at least on paper).
IF she is on the Normandy, then as XO. Anything else would be downgrading and not really fitting to her size.

Miranda would be a disaster as XO. I'm envisioning her as more Cerberus intel provider and over the radio handler on certain missions with after-mission comments. And the sheer entertainment value of a Cerberus officer on an Alliance ship.

Yes, XO was just perfect for her when Normandy was Cerberus property, but now with all the Alliance plot it's impossible to make her fit somewhere...

I actually liked her ME3-plotline on paper.. that she has her very own arc. Just not that she is after some forced family-problems with her sister again.
I could imagine her as some kind of external info-source against Cerberus, operating alone but with much contact to Shepard.

I think she belongs, but the same way Jack belonged in ME2. She would function as a counterpoint to the rest of the crew and provide a different perspective.

You know, had they let us choose between Cerberus and the Alliance Miranda could have fit perfectly onto the Normandy . . .

... yes, why not. Just not such a minor role like Cortez or Traynor, please.;)
