EDIT: Wait are we going to make @FindMiranda twitter account? Because I don't know what we could possibly tweet there. Imo a hashtag seems pretty good enough :lol:

Well, you could look for people who mention or like Miranda, follow them and hope to spread the word from there. Then, to keep it interesting, tweet little topics for people to discuss (Favourite Miranda moment, best line of dialogue, etc.) or links to videos, fanart, whatever. Basically, take the BSN to them (whether they like it or not). :P

If all goes according to plan, the result is being able to say, "Here, BioWare, look at all these followers/Miranda fans"

Could inspire others to do their own for other ME2 squaddies as well (since BioWare have said it would probably be a more consolidated effort).

I'd love to have Miranda on the Normandy. With my Shepard's character, he'd just not care about what others think because she's an asset to him and to the fight against the reapers. Eff' bureaucracy! We are in a war. However, I see Miranda not as the XO but more of a rogue tactician in Shepard's squad.

@Ares91

Saw that too! Me gusta.

Miranda would be a disaster as XO. I'm envisioning her as more Cerberus intel provider and over the radio handler on certain missions with after-mission comments. And the sheer entertainment value of a Cerberus officer on an Alliance ship.

Miranda as intelligence gatherer would have been good, considering that our resident all-knowing information broker doesn't provide us with any useful information

:lol:

Obviously, in the ME universe, it would be more like a Renegade campaign versus a Paragon campaign. This would practically double resource requirements, though. To judge from some recent Weekes tweets, it sounds like this was considered and rejected for this reason. It's obvious that the Collector Base choice *should* open up two campaigns in this way, with doubtless an option to choose one or the other during character creation in a new game.

I think The Witcher 2 did rather well in a similar regard, since the story bifurcates for the second act, without requiring too many extra resources (although, a considerable amount).

I know it's not exactly accurate to compare the two, but it shows that its certainly possible and it can pay dividends to replayability (since each path never gives you the 'full' story) as well as discussion.

I'm doing it right now! :lol: I've got some responses and new followers right away so I'm pretty confident about it. Good suggestion about keeping them talking by asking their fave things about Miranda ;) I also encouraged them to use the hashtag whenever they talk about Miranda so that #FindMiranda would gain more reach.

Don't we have to be registered to see this thread? I've noticed that there are some ardent players who aren't members of BSN.

EDIT: I just tweeted this :lol::

I think this would be fine. Really it's the tactical side of the XO job that is mostly interesting anyway.

Yeah, as a design choice it's not far-fetched at all. Where you start to have issues, though, in ME3, is the fact that so many resources are being deployed to deal with "might be dead" characters. That's partly why having the SM lead into the finale was a very dubious choice indeed.

That reminds me the lost banter with Miranda and other characters. I would kill to have Miranda and Jack in the same room during ME3.

Tweeting Tricia Helfer about it! Won't tweet Courtenay since she hasn't confirmed yet. I wouldn't want her to feel like we are singling her out or anything.

@Dr.Doctor LOL that was great. "I found your socks."

Ive always aproved of her being a tactician/ intelligence operative for the Normandy I think that suits her the best.

@Ares91

Thanks! You deserve a round too for helping me rally people towards the cause. Plus, I have fun doing these stuff as well.

Also, don't forget to tweet the guys at BioWare! Not too much but I trust everyone knows what's spamming and what's appropriate.

EDIT: Answered that survey a week ago :o

Hey guys I will feature #FindMiranda in Hold The Line's Newsletter. We distribute it around other forums as well. We have a Spanish translation and we are currently working on the Russian version. (I know, I'm agenda pushing but that's the perks of the job)

Here is the sample of Newsletter! I was hoping you guys could suggest a nice photo to use to promote #FindMiranda.

Let's say it requires TIM-Cerberus not turning into Space N*zis. The Sith have an ideology that you can roleplay without feeling sick. Yep, a Renegade campaign would've been nice. I didn't expect that much when they said "you can roleplay against the Alliance", but that we would get *nothing* in that regard, and that it would be so bad that I'd get sick of all the saluting and "Yessir"s, that I didn't expect. I can't even agree with TIM, only choose the way I disagree with him. That.....sucks.

I was defintely looking forward to that ability to carry on roleplaying anti alliance. Just another broken developer promise i suppose. Still disappointed though. At least Miranda didn't get forced into being an alliance cheerleader.
