I tried exhausting all dialogue options with each squaddie. I have no problem with Ash coming out of the Normandy as she's my second favorite character, just thought that at 3600 EMS I'd get 4 to come out.o Ventus wrote...

Yup, that's probably one of my favorite Miranda screens of all time.
Btw Kay, I love your avatar!
Thanks!
Though I can't take credit for the poses. I took a screenshot from one of the miranda ending videos, that I can't seem to find now.
I just edited it to change the colors.

Don't bust your hump. I had over 6000 EMS and only 2 came out.

I do have one thing about the group. I would have the group be the HQ for the whole #FindMiranda operation. Not just for the poster. That way if one of us finds someone who interested in the operation we have a place to send them to. That's not this thread. Cuz lets be honest our Miri conversations go all over the place and for the times none of us are posting the new ppl can still get some info.
For example. The description I would change it to something a little more in depth. Instead of just saying this group is here to send a Miranda poster. It should explain why were sending the poster. "Were here to try and persuad bioware to make Miranda dlc. And this is how were doing it: poster, book, twitter, ECT."
Just my thoughts.

Funny that you post right after what Ares said about new people popping up…
Thank you so much for welcoming me here! I just saw Ares’ post and I can’t help but laugh. It was a strange timing for me to show up.
I am glad to help, truly I am and we absolutely need to stick together. The more support we can gather, the louder our voices can be heard.
I believe what is important though (and please, don’t feel like I am attacking you or anyone else) is that we support each other because we all ended up with a romance that was just awful. There was so much left unsaid and undone. I truly believe we are entitled to the same romance as the ME1 characters, especially Liara’s romance. I don’t believe Bioware should have picked favorites. After all, they did promise equality in all the romances.
I will post the link to my thread, just give me a little time to do so.

@Squeegee83 So let me get this straight your proposing an alliance between the two of us. The master assassin and the perfect women team up...
This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
Also what is this "For an option" issue?
If you all would like an alliance between the two of us, I would have no problem with it. Like I said earlier, the more voices we have…the louder we will be heard. Although I am quite fond of having the most two sexiest characters in the game together. How can anyone ever be able to say “no” to a fix? Miranda is mad beautiful and Thane just steal hearts… the combination would be too much. lol.
It could be a start of a beautiful friendship. I am willing to combine the two, if that is what you guys would like. My poster at the moment is a bit conversional, but I can always come up with a poster that reflects only on the Thane romance and matches your own.
However that is completely up to you guys. All you have to do is let me know.
“For an Option” is an option to save and/or prolong Thane in ME3. I’m not exactly protesting for a cure but I do believe that there should have been an option to prolong him in the game. Thane’s romance was slaughtered and he was killed off far too early in the game. We wanted a decent romance (like you all do) and to be able to experience our ME3 play though with him in it. I’m not saying that Thane shouldn’t have died, I just think that there should have been an option to keep him living longer to the end of game.
His death for the romancers was a bit brutal. Perhaps if they handle it better, we wouldn’t be so bent out of shape over it. If anything, I am trying to be as reasonable as I can. I just would have like my ME3 experience with Thane by my side, even if he was killed in the end.
Does that at least make any sense to ya? Most of us bought the game because of Thane, I just think we should have gotten a little more out of it than what the game provided.

I actually think an alliance may be beneficial. Thane is my favorite LI along with Miranda and the only reason I don't post on his thread is because I find it too depressing, but if we join forces, both groups mutually supportin each other, I think our numbers will grow substantially and maybe then BW will finally give us something satisfying.
I completelly hated Thane's romance in ME3. Seriously, a make out scene at Huerta Memorial was just awful and his death scene... even worse, it's pratically the same dialogue for the people who romanced him and didn't. Everyone knew Thane was likely going to die, but his treatment was just unforgivable, at the very least we should get a decent, emotional goodbye scene and not even that we got.

You guys also have a legit reason to be upset and ask for dlc. (unlike tali/ashely fans)
It seems to me were both fighting for the same thing. The reasons may be different in detail, but over all we both got screwed. Your guy got killed right off the bat and ours barely resembles the girl from ME2. But our goals are the same.
I personally wouldn't mind helping you guys out with your cause. And I would love an alliance between our two groups. I think the combined numbers, the way were bothing going about this movement, and the fact that we're the fans of the ME2 box cover characters would help us both. But that's just me I can't speak for everyone else here.
I can totally agree with you there. I mean sure I was excited to finnish this war in ME3 but I was equalybexcited if not more to continue my romance with Miranda. And really my relationship with all the characters in general.Squeegee83 wrote... The whole galaxy can go to hell as far as im concerned. I just need to know my girl(guy) and my crew are safe.

Going back to romance discussion for a moment, does anyone get the feeling that Miranda is intentionally distancing herself from Shepard during ME3? I'm sort of thinking along the lines of her talking with Oriana in her LM, yes she cares about Shepard (she was willing to break in to see him) but at the same time it's probably better for her to keep her past with Cerberus and all the danger that comes with it away from Shepard for the good of the mission.

Miranda distancing herself not to draw anymore attention to Shepard from Cerberus and so he could focus on stopping the reapers instead of worrying about keeping Oriana safe has crossed my mind, Obviously I don't think that was the writers intention, because that would mean they actaully gave some thought on her personality and we all know that's far from the truth, but I always did think like that to try and make more sense of the situation.

Aftewards, it is more of a mix of neither being able to catch a break, always fighting some of type of war and Miranda's usual pessimism regarding their chances of survival.

While the whole "we can never catch a break" theme was appealing early on my biggest issue is that it doesn't go anywhere with that idea. "Finish this and find me" sets up the idea that they'll be able to be together but there's no reward for seeing the relationship through.
With the non-squad ME2 LI's I was hoping that we'd get a sort of The Doctor/River Song relationship dynamic. IE the LI is off fighting the war and having their own adventures that at some points intersect with Shepard's. We get that character as a squad member for a mission, get some banter and dialogue between the two and then go back to fighting the Reapers. Sort of a Lair of the Shadow Broker-sized story arc spread out over the three acts. It could potentially still be done with DLC, but it would take a little tinkering with the current narrative to make it work.

You can only see the fourth team member - if any - for a split second, and apparently, you have to choose Synthesis to see them at all, since the other endings show the scene at a different angle. Check this video at 25:17. You can see a fourth team member briefly in the lower left quarter, just right of the bright green plant.Td1984 wrote...

To get 10K EMS you'd have to promote 33 MP characters into the game on top of having 100% readiness AND squeezing the theoretical maximum of 7530 TMS out of the campaign. Are you sure you got 10000?Dr. Doctor wrote...

No. She makes it pretty clear that she would have preferred personal contact in the vidcom talk, but couldn't because she was on the run. I guess you can interpret her behaviour at the end of Sanctuary that way - or more to the point, that she might've thought it was a foregone conclusion she couldn't join Shepard so she didn't even mention the possibility. But I don't buy it. She just got Shepard the key to TIM's base after all.Going back to romance discussion for a moment, does anyone get the feeling that Miranda is intentionally distancing herself from Shepard during ME3? Ah, the things that could've been. I was just thinking of Miranda joining up and being mistrusted by Ashley/Kaidan and Vega who suspect her of having her own agenda, which would be proven right in an unexpected way when Miranda promptly takes over what remains of Cerberus after Cronos Station - and adds her resources to the allied forces. "I worked with Cerberus for twenty years to protect humanity, and that's what I'm going to do."

It just comes across to me like the same stuff you hear from Liara in ME2 when you ask her to come with you. "I'm sorry Shepard I can't. The galaxy doesn't work that way." There is no feeling that the separation is objectively necessary, there is just a feeling that the developers don't want that character with you and are making sure it doesn't happen.

Mind-boggling, indeed. Let's see what we have:jtav wrote...
I've been going back over the game for fanfic purposes, and it just boggles my mind how much Miranda could have added. And not always in the obvious ways. You have Miranda, who is sterile. You spend the first half of the game trying to cure a sterility plague. Bakara mentions sisters who became suicidal because of their infertility, and she thought about it. Miranda's comments on that could make her own infertility feel like an actual character trait instead of a tacked on morality tale. And she could provide a more empathetic face to those that have misgivings about a cure. And so on.
*Miranda's infertility / genophage cure
*Miranda as "a created" / the organic/synthetic problem
*Miranda and Cerberus / Miranda's working for human advancement vs. the Cerberus style.
*The control chip / TIM's desire to control the Reapers
*Thessia and the Prothean beacon there: Miranda as one who would've also concealed it
Anything more? And Hudson said Miranda was "a simpler character". Pfft.
@yesikareyes:
Nice idea. I like it. But an Alliance symbol? Feels odd. Miranda isn't Alliance. Unfortunately, there isn't a symbol for "free agent".
Are you looking forward to one?? I have some ideas up my mind.
Well I think the alliance symbol fits as well.
