I think Overlord is a good example of an experiment that got out of hand. What we see in the holographic logs is unproblematic, but where it ended up is horrific. I like to think Miranda would keep to what we see in the logs.jtav wrote...
I'm not sure *I* have a moral objection to Overlord, just to David's treatment. I think ME3 Miranda would be capable of it, but would take every precaution to gain informed consent and ensure the subject's safety.

And while I'm at it. Perhaps there are people here who haven't seen Miranda and Shepard in matching armor yet....

I mean sure I'll be a mod.
@Ieldra2 Is that armor a PC mod or can I get that on 360?

The armor does have a yellow visor, but on the PC you can remove it. Personally I like the visor.

The armor is the DLC armor, and the half-visor is a mod. But the visor is unobtrusive from this far away and in bright lighting anyway.Babi_Siha wrote...

@yesika:
I'm fine with "less sexy" on missions. That's one of the main attractions of the armor - she doesn't look as if she wanted to distract the enemies with her T&A.

Maybe a little, but I still love the armor. I like all three outfits

Indeed. But it's not the in-your-face kind of sexy, which I wouldn't want on missions. Instead, it radiates power - she's the kind of woman you'd want to peel out of her armor right after a dangerous mission. IN the quarters of the dead enemy boss.jtav wrote...
Armor makes her look sleek and dangerous, which is 10x as sexy as the catsuits if you ask me.

Already did

Seems like a lot's been going on over the weekend. Organized twitter movement, poster campaign... to say nothing of currently existing projects like the fanbook. Seems like we'll be keeping busy this month. Couple of things:
I don't think the fanbook would be negatively recieved by Strahovski. She seems pretty down to earth in interviews I've seen her in. Also she's incredibly hot and there are a lot more perverted fans out there than we are. I think she's dealt with her share of the creepy and barring the all-34 version (which I'm being told is to be kept in house:D) our gushing would be pretty mild. I'm onboard with prioritizing for Bioware first though, but I don't think huge changes will need to be made for her edition of the book. Maybe limit MEfan to one overreaction per paragraph. On second thought make that one per page.
Miranda's loyalty outfit is still my favorite. And I like to think it gives her an edge because enemies underestimate her in battle. They see her with that catsuit and they think easy kill... Ok that's thin and there's no working justification that doesn't use Rule of Sexy. But I'm fine with that. I see why the idea of armor is appealing but I'm not a fan of the DLC one.
In terms of factions, I still think Shepard and the Normandy should've been independent, possibly with the choice to join something, either Alliance or a splinter group of Cerberus (remember how we were talking about different people and cells having different visions of what Cerberus is?). I wish I could've gotten into the Sith comparison more but with "dark" factions like that there's no reason why you can't have different groups of the same "banner" fighting each other. Maybe you get a small signing bonus in EMS if you join a faction, though I would stilll want to stay independent myself.
Also Ares... careful with your trash talking... we do have a Kratos on this thread.

Also, despite not applying in-game, it gave me the impression of being more mobile and flexible, with biotic barriers providing protection. Having played as an asari in ME3 multiplayer, I love that graceful biotic 'slide' they have (missed me, Brute!) and could imagine Miranda being just as agile in combat, although without that particular move.

I like her catsuit because it gives the impression that she's confident. You know? Like "I don't need an armor, because I know what I'm doing" and it also gives her a lot of room to be flexible in different situations. I've also heard people complain "Who goes into battle with heels?" but I'm like that's one of the things I love about her Femme Fatale image.

@yesikareyes Ha! Very cool at least we know the posters will actually get looked at nice job.
I also still think our fanbook would be fine to send to Yvonne I think we may have to change a minor thing here and there but over all id think it would be fine. Basically I agree 100% with Crutch.
@Crutch Kratos plz I'd kick his butt. I ain't that imposter Ares that was in GoW

I definitely agree it would be fine. However, I do think that it's better to do the one for Bioware/us, then modify as needed. First of all, to maintain the focus of the book, second to give contributors a chance to modify their letters, etc., if they feel like it.

I agree, obviously. Miranda's romance in ME3 is a "lovers torn apart by war story" and so, rather than matching the ME2 theme of "We are probrably going to die tomorrow but loving today is still worth it", it is more geared towards "Let's finish this today so we can have the tomorrow all for ourselves." As such, it is normal to be dissapointed when that tomorrow never comes.Dr. Doctor wrote...
@ MisterJB
While the whole "we can never catch a break" theme was appealing early on my biggest issue is that it doesn't go anywhere with that idea. "Finish this and find me" sets up the idea that they'll be able to be together but there's no reward for seeing the relationship through.
We never get to see how different Miranda's and Oriana's lifes will be now that Henry is dead, for instance.
