That will have to be heavy modifications, though. Every letter is more or less completely dedicated to BioWare. I can't imagine what Yvonne could do with those... and some of the fan-art could come off creepy for someone who is not a fan.

Well yes, new letters would have to be written. But I don't see the other sections requiring much change. As for the art, assuming you don't mean 34, what's an example of one you think she'd find questionable?

Exactly what has just been posted^^
You know, that stuff that makes her look like a sex object. I don't even know if something like that is actually planned to be included in the BioWare-addressed book..

edit: point is, I think we would have to replace all the letters since all of them are asking BioWare for content. Replace them with something specifically written for Yvonne.

I agree with that, though for the most part, that type of art isn't in the book. At most there might be one or two images we'd have to consider removing.

Anyway, overall, I think we should do the book for Bioware, then think about how we might want to modify it for other purposes. Once it's done, that really won't be that difficult.

Apologies if this sounds needy, but has anyone read the chapter I finished the other day? Was hoping for some feedback on this one, regarding direction and such. Link is in my sig.

I hope I'm getting around to reading it tomorrow. The problem is I must find one of your posts to get the link. Why don't you put it up on FFN?

I would but I have this tendency to go back and fiddle with bits here and there, which I'm not sure people would appreciate...

I'm pretty sure she's aware of how her character looks of how how sex appeal works. And I don't think we'd be sending "dat ass" pics to Bioware anyway. Obviously there are images that don't need to be in there. My point is anything that you can send to Bioware you can probably send to her.

Agreed about the letters. Most of the ones to Bioware are criticisms about what they missed. Letters to Yvonne should just be about her performance which I think we all agree is awesome.

Yeah, letters to BioWare tend to be about support and constructive criticism whereas for Yvonne it would just be support and appreciation. Also, it's nicer to have a personalised letter than a generalised one.

I guess I should get on writing something...

Oh, and on the 'sex appeal' thing, unfortunately, I think it's slightly different to Chuck because, a) it's a videogame character and B) not based on her body (a distinction you've probably noticed she made in interviews). With Sarah Walker, that is still her performing onscreen and with a figure she worked hard to maintain so is probably more accepting of that. Now I'm starting to sound creepy, damnit...

So guys, I had this idea that I just posted on the #FindMiranda group. We all know retake Omega is happening and I think it makes sense, not to mention would be a way for BW to redeem itself, if Miranda teamed up with Aria for that purpose.

This way we would finally have Miranda's confrontation with Cerberus and two of the most bad asses women on the galaxy would be working together.

I think it should happen before Sanctuary and the key in finding Oriana and Henry lies in Omega. Since there is filled with cerberus agents, Miranda approaches Aria and proposes an alliance that would mutually benefit each other. Miranda gets the information she needs, flemm suggested adding Oleg in the mix so maybe he's the guy with the info she wants, and Aria gets Omega back.

I love that idea. I was thinking of the mission becoming available after the second or third Miranda conversation. What would the consequences be for not getting the Omega DLC done in time? (i.e Doing Sanctuary first)

What do you thin how would Miranda handle a situation like Horizon in ME2 with Shepard (I mean the reunion scene)?

I don't know. I haven't thought that far ahead. Maybe if Sanctuary is done first then the Reapers will attack Omega in retaliation of Cerberus' plan to control them. This way, Omega will be infested with Reapers and Cerberus agents, making it impossible to take it back. Geez, that was an awful idea, I really have no idea what the consequences would be, but I'll get back to you if I think of something. =]

Well, obviously a Miranda-exclusive DLC would be better but that would be an acceptable compromise.

Edit: Everything which provides more Miranda content is acceptable compromise! :D

Miranda would approach Oleg rather than Aria.
Unless they retconned his character or simply gave him the Indocrinated treatment in which case it would take an outrageous amount of Miranda content to salvage that DLC for me.

I get the feeling any DLC would take place after Sanctuary but before Cronos. As in, when a completed game 'spits' you out. Not that I'm looking to halt discussion of hypothetical consequences.

Though, providing Miranda survived, she is 'free' to help in retaking Omega and it does tie into what she is reported to be doing.

Of course I would rather have a Miranda exclusive DLC too, but like you said, I'd find this acceptable. My dream DLC would be of course a Miranda exclusive DLC in which we at the very least play as her during the events of Horizon, fight Kai Leng and stuff, but if that's not happening I'd be glad with a DLC of her and Aria.

Anyway, it's another interesting suggestion. Even if Miranda were not a major presence in this DLC, it would be interesting to see her referenced during the Cerberus portion, or perhaps a cameo of some kind (hopefully with a hint of bigger and better things to come Image IPB).

Indeed. But it's not the in-your-face kind of sexy, which I wouldn't want on missions. Instead, it radiates power - she's the kind of woman you'd want to peel out of her armor right after a dangerous mission. IN the quarters of the dead enemy boss.

That explains why I think Miranda looks so hot in her armor.

If you prefer Miranda's romance in ME2 I don't understand why you would want to switch to Liara in ME3. Yeah Miranda's romance in ME3 is rushed but there are great lines and it makes the whole romance a very satisfactory one.

eh? it was regressive, non-sensical and apart from a few good lines, a very poor rehash of a lot of me2's themes.

one of the things me3 did do well though, was the feeling of history between all (including ex-)squad-mates, it has that kind of familiarity between characters that you only get with a mature series, and after playing it, i just felt that (aside from some throwback to me1 annoying things) liara's romance in me3 turned into what should have been the kind of thing i was expecting with miranda.

i don't expect the extended endings or dlc to bring any closure for obviously-forgotten me2 squad-mates, either.

btw given the recent discusion re the end-sequence and who getsoff the normandy - my ems has always been over 7000 and i've always had 4 characters (javik normally the 4th), whichever ending i've chosen (synthesis/destroy).

edit: ashley suits armour, as a soldier, miranda does not, and never has - she'snot a soldier - though i wish they'd given her something new, a pilot uniform or something to signify her role in th final battle at least at the end.
