If they kill Miranda off in the EC, on my subsequent playthrough with Thomas, I'll make sure to get as low an EMS as possible, then go with "destroy" and let the whole **** galaxy burn.

Getting the lowest EMS possible is so hard just because you get so many from just playing the game

Just stick to the Priority missions. Do nothing else and that should get you it. Or don't try to get peace with the geth and quarians and pick a side. Let the bomb on Tuchanka go off, killing Eve and costing you a ton of krogan support. There's probably other ones too that can limit your EMS.

I have 4800 points just for the multiplayer... no way of getting the lowest EMS possible.

I'm thinking its dark brown, just the lighting makes it look black.

In all honesty, if Miranda gets killed in the EC, how I deal with it comes down to photographic evidence. If they don't show her dying on-screen, I can disregard it and keep my headcanon intact. If she does have an on-screen death however, then I'd do one last playthrough with Thomas (though I'd possibly consider continuing to play on my other 3 Sheps) and essentially scrap my headcanon. Instead, he wouldn't come back after about a month and he'd have a "Victory Party" to attend with Miranda, Anderson, Jenkins, Kaidan, Pressly, Mordin, Thane & Legion (and whomever else gets killed off) on the "other side".
