That's now how you do it. It's "Naeiou". You use all the vowels in order.

Could anyone imagine Miri being the Shadow Broker?

I can imagine a lot of things. I don't really see that as particularly desirable for Miranda, though. She's idealistic, and she seems to excel at bringing specific really difficult projects to fruition. So.. I dunno. I feel like the ideas we habitually throw around suit her better, i.e. Humanity's STG, exploiting Lazarus tech for medical advances, even something like exploring an unknown portion of the galaxy or working to rebuild the mass relays.

Miranda as the Shadow Broker, no way. Miranda could be an excellent shadow broker, but the sb lacks a goal and have no loyalties to anyone. I can imagine her in some kind of pro human intelligence agency.

But, the idealistic Miranda was mutilated betwen ME2 and ME3, so I don't really care.

Miri in charge of a Human STG eh? YES:wub:! Like Kirrahe in the Salarian STG.

I can also see Miri in the Ranks, i.e. Captain, Admiral, and Major. Would the Rank of Major fit her more?

Major Lawson has a nice ring to it. But I still prefer Agent Lawson.

It bears repeating.
We have a problem with this! We believe it is a glaring flaw! Please fix it!

The very idea of Miranda obeying a conventional military command structure irks me.
Miranda must not join the Alliance. Not now! Not ever!

It was bad enough having to constantly witness in ME3 the demonification of black ops groups without the freedom to point out how narrow minded and short sigthed that line of thinking is.
I don't need my favorite character abiding by it.

What if Miri were to create her own Covert or Special Ops group? Original name and everything else. Hell she can even take the designs from the Cerberus forces for the Military Portion.

Tbh, I've never really seen this as an issue. Which doesn't mean it's my dream scenario or anything. Also, I get why some fans don't like the idea. The thing is, from the character's perspective, I don't really see it bothering her much.

Miranda is more about getting things done than she is about what uniform she's wearing, or who is commanding whom. Jacob complains about Alliance red tape, but Miranda? Not really. Maybe it's because she's never experienced it from the inside, but I doubt it. Among other things, she's a really good administrator, extremely efficient. So I don't really see things like paperwork and bureaucracy bugging her much because she'd be really good at dealing with them.

Problems working within a command structure? Again, I doubt it. She may not initially approve of TIM choosing Shepard, but once Shepard is onboard, she works with it smoothly.

If Miranda thought that working as part of the Alliance was the best way to protect and advance humanity's interests, she'd do it.

Miranda does express distate for the Alliance twice; once in ME2 and once in ME3; and she talks about Cerberus not being slowed by bureaucracy. I could see her working closely with Hackett but still as an independent force much like it is suggested by the SB Email.

What would Hackett give Miri? Rank? Forces? Resources?

Some handcuffs and a sentence for life. She was part of Cerberus and the Alliance might use Miranda to have someone to blame for the acts of Cerberus.

She does, but it's pretty... mild. Nothing that suggests to me she wouldn't be able to excel in that environment, or that it would be repugnant to her if it made sense, or if enough were at stake.

Something like this is closer to my ideal scenario, probably, yeah.

Not if I kill him first. I swear, I'm such a Renegade when it comes to following orders. I remember after Arrival, I told him to suck it.

Thanks for reminds one more thing of why I didn't like ME3. Shepard is too happy from being back in the Alliance. I remember when they said we can roleplay to make Shepard not being content working with them.

I seriously doubt hacker would do that to Miranda. Especially with Shepard present. If anything the politicians would try to hang her and Hackett would step in to defend her.

Bull****. If that's the case then I'll quit the Alliance, and save Miri<3.

Yeah, Hackett and Miranda are kindred spirits Image IPB

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that they had previously been in contact for whatever reason. Miranda does have contacts in the Alliance.

Am I the only one here who actually agreed with TIM in Mass Effect 2? Damn, I wanted to be his ally but then he went bonkers. It would have been cool if Cerberus was good but still rogue in ME3 and you can choose between Alliance or Cerberus.

Cerberus for me all the way!

EDIT: Btw, this semester was really hard for me so I made a bet that if I get a 3.5 and above with my GPA... I'm getting a Cerberus logo tattoo that says "Humanitas Primum"

Haha, no, you are not the only one here who feels that way, rest assured Image IPB

I can't say I really did, or not always. But sometimes.

Edit: You may be the only one getting a tattoo, however Image IPB

Hackett is the only one with some brainpower in the Alliance. Remember, this the same guy who sends Shepard to assassinate a criminal lord that the Alliance had, illegally, suplied with weapons in trade for eezo when he became more trouble than he was worth.
He would work with Miranda.

Well, there's still will be some politician who'd want to use former Cerberus personal to gain support. and Miranda as former 2IC will be the perfect sacrifice for a political career.

And btw, if that's the case, you think that Miranda would allow herself to this kind od treatment if  the aliens goberments press the Alliance?

Miranda making a political sacrifice for a better relationship betwen the alliance and the rest of the galaxy.
