I'm starting a Mass Effect 2 play through, right now just to relive the Miranda experience, but I just thought of something. In Miranda's first conversation with you she admits she wanted to put a control chip in you but the Illusive man stops her. I can understand in ME3 her possibly being upset about it after leaving the dark side, but my Shepard acts like this was the first tim the heard about this at all.

Is it just me that finds that a little off to confess again in ME 3?

Man I love Miranda win ME 2 she such a sexy witch & just shooting my Shep down at the first convo and everything the challenge is on again!

Yeah, the way it's phrased in ME3 is a bit off, since it's not the first time Miranda has brought it up. It's likely presented that way as exposition, basically, in case you forgot, or in case you are a new player.

What I find pretty inconsistent is Joker telling EDI and Shepard, he hardly knew Ashley? REALLY Joker? (this is if Garrus shoots Ashley dead at the coup) Ashley was on the old Normandy with you and in the cockpit at one point talking about how big the citadel's arms were and you (joker) don't know Ashley??? WTF? Ashley even joked, "why so touchy joker..." about his "manhood" laughs.

Yeah, everything that we learned already in me1/me2 is just rehashed in ME3... Nothing really knew was learned, I felt. Same old stuff. I enjoyed the genophage storyline... but I was expecting so much more for ME3 and felt let down by all the hype. Yeah the Reapers arrived and what? We all died at the end basically.

There's also that bit during Grunts mission where Shepard autodialogs and says "What are you?" to the Rachni queen even though he let her go on Noveria (pretty sure he saw her in during the conversation)  obviously it corrects itself later with the option "I let you go on Noveria"

I know that was a wtf moment for me.  Same with Shepard acting surprised when Anderson mentions he's from London even though he said it before.

If there is to be a Miri Related DLC, it has to be involving Cerberus somehow. NO death, if you please!<_<

That's exactly what Shepard said in so many words.  "I believe you mentioned it..."  And why bring it up now... etc

See I have no problem with this... it's a reflection of what happened when they first met.  It's just the others stuff that get's annoying that you already know or how the writers/whoever screwed up and didn't do their homework.  I get that there are so many variable to track but who shot their own foot with adding so many people, and romances and then totally not being able to really give them all justice.

:alien:

Here's praying for some Miranda DLC...  Damn it... Shepard needs to #findMiranda  ;)

I like this as well. The helmet looks very similar to the one on "The Guyver" Bio Booster armour, the only thing that's missing is spine/blade sticking out the top. How awesome would it have bene if some of the Cerebus soldiers were actually wearing masks like this one.

yep, what I actually wanted to portray, was something much more darker and super advance, as if this was some kind of cerberus prototype's.

The strange thing with Cerberus in ME3 is that their story arc suddenly stops.

TIM talks about controling the Reapers on Mars, the team on Gellix talks about how Cerberus was working on building some sort of device, and Sanctuary shows us that Cerberus has cracked the Reaper control signal. When we get to Cronos though all we get is the line that TIM went to the Citadel to warn the Reapers about the Crucible. That doesn't make much sense based off of the Cerberus plot established in the previous two acts and resorting to the "He's Indoctrinated" excuse to handwave the plot hole away seems like laziness on the part of the writers.

As for the control chip conversation:

Miranda: ...I wanted to implant you with a control chip. It's something I've always regretted.

Shepard: It's alright, but didn't you tell me this back when we first met?

Cerberus Monitoring Station, Horsehead Nebula

Tech: He's starting to ask questions!

Tech #2: You're the one manning the Lawson replicant man! Do something!

Tech: Do what?! Half of the personal dossier we have on her is about her sister! Other than the chip and what we've got from the Normandy's listening devices I'm running out of options!

Tech #2: Just make her seem sad, maybe he'll react and we can just sidestep this whole problem.

Tech: (presses a series of buttons) I can't believe that worked.

Tech #2: Neither can I. Want to grab lunch while the replicant's indisposed?

Tech: Won't Shepard wonder why it isn't saying anything you know...afterwards?

Tech #2: Hey, we got access to those Alliance resources like the boss wanted, as far as I'm concerned the job's done. Besides Shepard's bought into our little ruse so far.

Tech: But doesn't that seem a little, I don't know cold?

Tech #2:
You've been sitting behind the controls for too long.

Shepard says: "I think you mentioned this before" and if you choose the upper answer "I was a complete unknown". That doesn't sound as if he's never heard of it before.

Is it just me that finds that a little off to confess again in ME 3?

The difference is she how says it was hypocritical to fight for her sister's freedom on one hand and to want a control chip for Shepard on the other. This is one of the places where I'm annoyed she has become more conventional. It's fine that she feels bad about it, but she was always about doing what's necessary, regardless of personal feelings. She should've said something like "It seemed a reasonable precaution at the time, but I'm glad I didn't do it", instead of going all out-of-character moralistic and talk about destroying free will and such stuff.

Man I love Miranda win ME 2 she such a sexy witch & just shooting my Shep down at the first convo and everything the challenge is on again!

Yep. Playing ME2 is an antidote against depression these days. Not just because of Miranda - think of the ending.

I don't think laying down and dying right now is the best way to go about things.  I'm pessimistically optimistic.  :D

Hey everyone, long time lurker here. :bandit:

Anywho, after seeing you all band together to create Miranda-related material, I thought to contribute. Since drawing is not one of my best skills, and my writing is a little rusty, I decided to go in a different direction: music.

So, I spent the night created this composition, entitled "Find Miranda". I tried to incorporate existing pieces into the track to keep authenticity (Miranda's ME2 Theme/ME1-2 Romance Theme), while at the same time creating something new. This is the end result: (Keep in mind that it's still a rough draft)

What do you guys think? If any of you feel like there is something that can be changed to help improve the piece, please let me know.

Sex scene, smex scene. Just fix the character and give some kind of payoff romantically. A passionate kiss is fine.

How about...extend the romance scene?  Pillow talk on their future after all of this is over AND passionate kiss?!
You know you want it:wizard:

The pillow talk could include some character fixes, for instances about Miranda's hopefully changed attitude towards her genetic engineering, or about Cerberus.

My problem with the control chip conversation isn't really with the conversation itself.
It is just that given the limited resources available for Miranda content they chose to rehash another portion of ME2 rather than add anything new. There's plenty of other things they could discuss. If her actual main content wasn't a rehash of her loyalty mission maybe it wouldn't bug me half as much as it does.

Praying for Miranda dlc too.
