Well, they already gave hints to support DLC for characters who were not in the squad this time.
It's not that it's completely unlikely... We just need to convince them that it's worth it.

Can anyone think of some antagonistic father-type figures (Or just male authority figures in general) who would fit well with Henry?

I wanted him to literally be Viktor from Underworld (minus the vampire bit). The same, speech, mannerisms, the same style of monstrousness tempered with a weird twisted affection. The same sense of power and invincibility, like in the end it's pointless to even challenge him...

Instead we got a pathetic little meat puppet that hides behind a teenage girl.

the commercial cost-benefit analysis will tell them it's worth it - like the fact that micro-transactions have been successful enough they haven't even charged for mp dlc yet... i could see doing a dlc encompassing all surviving me2 squad-mates, but not individually (unfortunately). i will be happy if we get something of the quality of LoSB, with Miranda appearing.

Anyone who hasn't joined up the #FindMiranda group, I invite you to do so. We are gathering as much support and allies we can so we can show BioWare that we are a committed fan base.

There are several projects planned including the fan book and posters. Plus, Tully Ackland ( BW Community Manager) joined up so know that our suggestions are being heard.

And the reason I don't expect her to have lines is this: VAs are paid in blocks of time. Miranda's speaking role in the EC would logically be very small, probably no more than 2-3 lines in high EMS Destroy. Strahovski is fairly pricey as these things go. So, it doesn't make much financial sense when they can get the same effect of a silent cutscene of whoever the LI is digging through the rubble. If she comes back as VA, it'll be in future DLC.

They could also reuse simple phrases like "Shepard!" to not make it look completely awkward.

I've begged BW via tweets that a silent reunion is good enough for me. Just reuse the plethora of dialogue Miranda has in Mass Effect 2.

That's what I had been thinking. I'd have no problem with reusing some of her old dialogue. Just have her say something (though if it's only in the Destroy ending, I'm not sure I'll ever see/hear it).

BTW, we've reached pg. 2012!

We did get this. I can agree that Henry doesn't come off as well as he should but we really got this.

So, beneath all the megalomany and narcissism, you can find a certain twisted affection for his creation.
Which will be promptly abandoned as soon as it is his life on the line, of course, but that is in-character.

Viktor burned his daugther alive once he discovered she had been impregnated by a Lycan. I would have suggested an abortion but maybe that's just me.

Yes, I have had similar thoughts. I'd potentially be fine with this. A DLC for Miranda or ME2 characters would be the priority if they can only have her record once. A satisfactory reunion scene could be handled without lines, potentially.

Quick Question: In Native American tribes, there are beliefs of an Entity: An "Animal Spirit" that we are born with. Each animal has a meaning: Emotion, strength, etc. When it comes to this belief, what would Miri's Animal Spirit be?

Strahovski wouldn't be pricier than Tricia Helfer (EDI) - and IIRC, Helfer is coming back to do some work.

I've been thinking about the control chip (which honestly, I've headcanoned to be nothing more than a kill-switch). I wonder, if TIM had gone with Miranda's idea, after the Suicide Mission, assuming they all made it out alive, would Miranda have seen TIM for who he really was and possibly sedated Shepard and removed it afterwards?

But Helfer plays a squad member. There's more need for her to show thanks to Gilligan's Planet. They can also get her to go ahead and do lines for the Omega DLC, Miranda? We just need confirmation that she's alive and can reunite with Shep in high EMS Destroy. None of that requires Strahovski.

As for Strahovski's salary, I heard a rumor that she renogiated her contract between games to receive more.
